Is that some sort of conquest thing? If not, is it possible to code something so we can fight over control of popular war zones such as Leeds? IE, pound a base for this long with this much fire power and it'll turn it into BAF control? Or is it too much?
it's possible to do that I believe, but so far the affiliation change applies on the client only when you undock from the base. It doesn't seem to work in real-time in space.
It's already pretty neat though, we can do a lot with this.

The NPCs never tried to dock as this changes the affiliation in the server logic. Makes players unable to dock if hostile too.

The Discovery of Discovery server had something similar to this, although you had to restart the server in order for changes to take effect (I think).

Very neat, in that case. Does that apply to both area patrols and patrol paths though? Paths can be a bit more, uh... insistent about where they want to dock.

I would like to have an exception about this capture thing for Penny or at least the planet in Penny... just to make sure newbs won't launch and face angry rogue turrets their first time
Though I guess, you've took this already into consideration, do you?
This isn't intended for a conquerable universe thingy, it was intended to have the possibility to change the reputation of any solar object through flhook without causing literally everyone to be logged by the anticheat.
Hey Alley, I hope I'm not posting this technical question in
the wrong place, but I have one for you....how many ships can
one person keep on a PoB? A whiles back I heard rumor that anything
over 3 ships owned by the same person at the same PoB and things
get quirky....my ships are scattered all over sirus and I am now
co-administrator of a small core 2 base and I would like to put
about 6-7 of my ships there for safe keeping and I just wanted
to know if the programming would handle it. Also do we have an
ETA on the update yet(apologies if you get asked about the update
5 million times a day)? Thanks Alley, you guys and girls rock!

Hey, thanks brother! Now I can conglomerate my ships in one place at least! Thanks again!
