- Oh, right... - she was strongly suspecting that Sean deliberately pushed the blame back on her. And felt bad for thinking so, which only added to the awkwardness that overtook her once Sean replied about his lack of place. - My bad... - she fixed her hair, turning her look away from Sean. She looked at where the dragon was standing and narrowed her eyes. There was nothing.
Seeing her expression change Sean turned his head to same location. Seeing no dragon in there he started sweeping the surroundings with his look. Though it was very dark Sean could see through it quite easily and since the place they choose to land was very open field it took only few seconds for him to spot the dragon and notice that it's examining his vessel now.
- Looks like now he want to challenge my ship... - Sean pointed with his hand in the direction where dragon was standing slightly smiling.
The dragon was slowly circling the Caracal, sniffing and constantly keeping an eye on it. it was more careful than before, slightly hesitating to go closer. After reaching the spot in fron of the ship's cockpit, it stopped.
Flora in the meanwhile turned her look to the dragon. She wasn't too keen to closing the distance, just like their companion, and decided to observe the dragon from afar.
- This is one curious dragon... - Seemingly much calmer then during the first encounter Sean sat on the ground, facing the dragon - Although I feel a bit cheated... He is so curious in our ships but doesn't care about two speciments, one of which wants to communicate with him badly.
- Well... After a second thought, I don't think it's a bad thing. - she sat next to him, still a little nervous after the embarrasing turmoil. She fixed her hair again.
The dragon was looking at the Caracal's cockpit for a little bit before spreading it's wings. It then roared at the ship. If it wasn't for the darkness, the aliens would be able to notice the dragon discretly comparing it's own wings to that of the Caracal. It then tried to spread them a little more, it's eyes fixed on the ship.
- Really? - he gazed at Flora with mocking grin - I wouldn't mind reviewing that moment again. - With a short giggle he turned back to the dragon - Anyways, no need to be afraid, as long as we don't upset him. - he frowned as the dragon started competing with his ship, completely misunderstanding the intention - Is he trying to impress my ship?
- Ha. Ha. - she was mildly annoyed by his teasing. Flora then frowned slightly, trying to figure dragon's intentions. - I... I don't know... - she went silent for a few seconds, observing their guest. - I think he's trying to figure who is bigger. I guess that has a meaning in their hierarchy.
The dragon stood there for a bit longer before retracting it's wings and, with an annoyed growl, moved away. It briefly glanced at the two aliens before simply starting to eat the grass, it's attention focused on the ships.
- Seriously? Is there any chance that it will be accepted to the flock? - Sean quickly glanced at Flora and chuckled, then turned his look back to the eating dragon - It's funny how little attention he is paying to us now. I feel like he is quite aware of what to expect from us.
- Well. - she replied after the dragon growled. - I guess the results are in your ship's favour. So yeah. - she then smiled a little. - You aren't going to forget me this anytime soon, hm?
- Forget what? - he didn't seem to understand at an instant as he looked at her - Oh, you mean that situation... - after a short giggle he continued - I might, but it's not what I meant. I thought that there would be some interest for a new life form from this dragon, but he doesn't seem to care much. I'd assume that it's because of our size, but he's obviously very nervous when we get close, so... - on that word he looked back at the dragon.
