The Coalition is a Snub-Based Faction yes. However that does not mean we don't like to take the Caps out and play with them, otherwise they get left in the closet forever, unloved, unused and slowly collecting dust until one day a grown up Tabris opens up the closet, finds the old toys and decides to either burn them in a bin or donate them to the Salvation Army.
Is there ganking involved? I admit that may be a problem, but EVERY faction has that issue whenever they see an enemy log on, the first instinct of many folks is 'Quick! Gather the fleet! It's time to get our blue boys!', so they go in, beat the stuffing out of some poor lone cruiser or a small group with overwhelming firepower claiming it's 'for Liberty/Rhienland/Bretonia' or whatnot. It's a problem in EVERY faction, even if it's not always reported in.
The point you might ask? The point is nobody is perfect, sometimes folks just want to log on and fight and people love to win. I will ask my members to tone it down some, however I would expect folks to repay in kind as we as the Coalition have been on the other end of the gank MANY times, sometimes even chased through multiple systems by said 'other side'. It is not just our problem, it's everyone's problem.

Blaming people for liking caps is like blaming people for being black/white/Asian. I don't think it matters what a faction likes to use, but how it uses it.
A Cap-Raid isn't an odd sight to see, I've seen it done many a time in other factions such as the RM or even the LN during the war. I will not prohibit my members from having a raid that every other faction which has caps did.
In any case I've said all that needs to be said on that, those who came across these gents/ladies(?) simply witnessed a Capraid in progress and either got unlucky enough to try to tangle with them or simply got out of the path. Nothing more to be said really. *shrug*

Like so? From what little I know of SCRA, those are all markings of the capital vessel class ships.
The guys were there helping me showing of Discovery with a Streamer named Bluedrake42. We started a fight infront of them so they could see what small scale cap fighting was like.

The problem is no one was forcing the balance. You kill the battleship and the crecy - tell one of the Typhoons to stay out. Killed 2 more snubs - another one backs off. That obviously didn't happen, but if you did that it'd be at least some kind of fun for the other side instead of getting shot by 5 destroyers on a snub. Don't get me wrong, the fight was good for me, I even got to kill Jack at the end, but put yourselv in PoV of the bretonian capital ships that were there. They certainly did not have a fun time getting outnumbered.
Also 5 SCRA caps wandering off in Taus, Kusari and Sigmas looks silly. If you're doing such a thing, at least don't go further than neighbouring houses.

Hey we have relations there like Crayterian Remnants (not to mention IMG) or Council, we fight also the GRN what's wrong with that? We have Sirius wide ZOI we're called the SIRIUS Coalition not "Omega" Coalition or something jeeze. We're free to wander whereever the fight leads us, we support revolutionairies, Sigmas aren't that far away from Omicrons(Relation with Order), those systems aren't realy off our limits. We have had contacts with Blood Dragons and GMG in the past, those regions are not out of our limits.
