1) you cannot steal money from players... it is down to you guys aggreeing to give it to them. If they STOLE it from you, it would be considered hacking, and therefor something entirly different.
2) why the heck are you giving 70 mil to newbies anyway?! thats just asking for trouble.
the most i give to new players, is 4 million which is good enough to get them a trading ship and make friends with them, after that, its upto them. ask Samus (angel, or what ever you want to be called now :wacko: ), and any of the other guys i've helped out in the past.

Vtec is smart, and does what i do.... before you randomly loan out cash from your accounts, CHECK OUT THE PLAYER, ask how long they've been on for, what they plan to do with the cash, and even if they like the server because i'll say one thing.
Ages ago when i started, i had a decent player give me 4 million in 200k parts for me working with him on a trade route, which allowed me to get a decent sized trade ship and i'm glad he did, because it took me ages to get the bigger ships, which made me put a lot of hard work into the game which in turn, made me stay with the server.
so ya, going back to the newbies case, if you give players 70 mil for a cap ship, then within 5 days or whatever, they have everything and get fed up because theres nothing else for them to do or save up for and thus, leave.
meh, i'm starting to get fed up of all the moaning on this server and i'm sure others are too as they're warning that they might leave. sort yourself out guys, its a game.

Hey Fire-Fly, just to let you know, the money was not given to him as a loan...he took off with it!
Nightfall was doing a transfer of 50 mil from one character to another, Alex took off with the money before Nightfall was able to transfer it back. Alex ran off to buy himself a Liberty Cruiser with the money he just STOLE from Nightfall---so to answer your question--no one is giving that much money for a newbie to buy a cap ship.
Ladies... thanks for the support! But it's my stupidity (impatience) that's the most to blame here. Fire-fly is right on one point: I shouldn't have done that with a noob. I should have waited for someone trusted. But I wanted to go buy a new cruiser :)
To Alex (or however is he now called): I bought two! And I still have money!
50 mil he stole didn't do much, it's 5 trade runs to me, but I'm talking about honor and respect here. Something not too many people on this world have.

Yea, i got invited to group with someone called badger9 while i was sitting in NY planning my travel rout, all he said was hi, so i crued away and forgot about him.
I dont accept group invites unless its for a reason, reason being someone showing me a rout, me showing someone a rout, or a friend.

I was invited to group too, after he tried to destroy my RH Bomber in NY with a base nomad fighter. It was fun to see, he sat 3m away from my bomber and opened fire. Ask Angel, she was there. Well.., he got blown to bits by at least 5 players who were in that area at the same time + the NPC. He was warned several times by angel and all the others present there to stop firing on me because the NY no PvP rule.
That was star, who is badge9 too?
If he is, then the weird part comes now, as he later asked me to join AW. I told him to send a formal request asking Dab about it in the forums. He told me his mom didnt let him access forums and flew.

He asked me 2 tht he wanted 2 join, And i asked him if he whas regestered on the forum and so yes under what name.
And he did not realy reply 2 my questions, So i told him if he acts like he's stupid tht the chance is very little.
But after reading these post the chances are NON for him. :D
