Easy now Simon, you sit tight, a shuttle will be along shortly to pick you up and bring you home. Try to relax and don't worry, we'll sort this mess out and uncover what happened.
The Mindoro will need to stay in New Berlin for awhile but I don't want you flying again just yet. Once this has passed we'll get you back on the bridge.

Director Saguma,
Captain Swift and the Mindoro have been involved in an incident, 3000 passengers have lost their lives and Simon has no memory of what occured, hes in quite a state. I want you and a security wing at New Berlin ASAP, bring Swift home quickly and work with the Rhienland authorities to find out what the hell happened. Tear the damned ship apart if you must, I want answers.
Take any personnel you need, this is top priority.

Mr Pines,
Firstly I would like to thank you personally on supporting me though this terrible time, the quick response of OSC staff was heart warming to say the least. I would like to add that the medical staff here are doing a fine job checking me over, I think they know me better than my wife!
I've been given the all clear but I'm still stuck in quarantine, its been some time since the incident and I have not received any fixed reports on what actually happened, It seems I'm being kept in the dark. I hope there is not some reason other than my health for this? Now I understand the gravity of this event and if there is any blame on my part I will hand in my wings, but I hope to fly for OSC again, its been my life for so long.
Yours faithfully
Simon Swift

Reina here with a quick report. I was making a trip out to Rheinland with some businessmen today. As soon as I jumped into Texas some Rogues tried to rob me. I didn't feel like paying and I knew the Liberty Navy was nearby, so I stalled them while my knights in shining armor showed up. Mister Reed Icarus and Ray McCoy were the first to show up. A fight broke out, I landed some hits on the Barghest, then I fled while the other two finished everything up.
So if anyone comes across FastGhost, a Greyhound, or Marachello, a Barghest, they might not be too happy. And they have cloaks, so be careful.

Captain Swift,
It's good to hear you're recovering well and you are quite welcome. It is true, we've been with holding our current findings from you as a precaution, I wanted to give you a chance to heal and rest up. However as you've clearly demonstrated, the time has come to fill you in.
First you should know that we have recovered some survivors 1,498 to be exact.
So far we have discovered that the attack was not instigated by the Unioners but the two pilots who escorted you, evidence provided by one of the survivors identified the ships as Rheinland and Libertonian military. As for the blackbox, I believe it would be best if you saw the logs for yourself, be warned they may upset and shock you so only do so when you feel truly ready.
Director Saguma will be with you shortly to ask some questions, afterwards you will be free to return home and rest. The Mindoro's repairs are almost complete, once she is space--worthy I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to Captain her once again.
All the best.

Mr Pines,
I will take some R&R and will read the logs, when I feel the time is right, maybe something will return to me about the events that unfolded that dark day.
After having some time to think about what has happened I have a few requests. Firstly that the surviving crew members receive some bonus pay and extended off time while the Mindoro is being repaired. I can only imagine what they have gone through and think some time with their families is the least they deserve. I was also wondering if it would be possible to construct a memorial at headquarters, nothing fancy, but at least it would be somewhere for people to remember their lost ones.
On a side note, once I am back in action I may put in a request for the Mindoro to be renamed, I think I would find it overwhelming captaining her with a daily reminder of what has happened.
I thank you again for your support.
Yours faithfully
Simon Swift

Captain Swift,
Your crew have been taken care of, each survivor has been granted a month's leave to recuperate, though understandably some have resigned their posts completely to be with their families. A memorial is currently being planned to honour those lost in the incident, I was thinking of placing it within that copse of trees between the central landing pads and the offices.
I believe a renaming would be in order, when you decided upon a name please let me know and I'll have the shipyard do the rest.
Take it easy Simon, we're all here if you need us.

Greetings again Mr Pines,
It's of great comfort that the crew is being treated well and that plans are a foot to build a small memorial, the spot you mentioned would be lovely.
Having been cleared by the medical staff I have spent the last few weeks at home and have managed to read through the logs, I did find it difficult but I have come to the conclusion based on them and previous experiences that this must.... must have been a Nomad attack, or something similar.... Although I don't know what the police investigation has concluded? I mean the lack of memory and the shared experiences from the crew and passengers....
Anyhows I think I am ready to return to work, though I have heard rumors the Mindoro is beyond repair... not surprising considering ... If this is the case I would like to put my name forward to captain the OSC|Luzon, the previous captain I noticed has retired. I hope you consider my request as I would like to continue my employment with you.
Thanks
Simon Swift signing off..

Captain Swift,
It's good to see you back on your feet again and yes the command of the Luzon is available, consider your request granted.
Your theory about the Nomads would certainly fit the bill and explain those bizzare logs, I'll have this new information sent to Director Blackwood at once, hopefully we'll see justice done.
I expect your return to duty by weeks end Swift, welcome back.
