would it be possible to make it a little more bulky, akin to the Hegemon? this would suit it's role as a mining vessel. And by bulky, I dont mean hege size. Just 1.5x seems to make it better

Why? This way we can say: "lets size up mining freighters".
Kamome is a small transport in the first place and it will remain in one line with other small transports.

I also prefer 0.1. My main gripe about the Kamome now is its two forwardmost turrets are placed so far apart that it's impossible to land double hits unless you take the time to get every rock in the dead centre of the screen, whereas I can think of other ships that can do doubles and even more with ease. A bit of breathing room to make double hits more feasible would be a vast improvement.
