This is what I was afraid of...

*The following is only opinion and what I have heard. Care to tell me i'm wrong, too bad, I won't listen. I'm tired of this. Time to take a stand.*

Ladies and gentlemen, what we have here is a vile cancer that has swept up uppon us. A disease, so profound, that is will take everything about the Discovery Modification and direct it towards its own dastardly ends. This plauge is a Clan War.

At first it was only the AW. They came on, and became a branch of a larger clan for Mech Warrior 2, the WA. It was all well and good, and save a few problems that have long since passed, we have been fine with the AW.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, enter's CUFF from stage left. CUFF apparently followed the AW here, and not content with fighting them in just one game, decided to spawn more offspring to fight them in this one as well. So, CUFF comes on, talks big, makes rude grestures, spits in just about everyone's face, and generaly makes an ass of themselfs.

I'm sorry, himself. I have only ever seen ONE origonal CUFF member, and that is ARC. Any others seem to be new to Freelancer in general, or to Discovery, or in one case joined their ranks after being kicked out of the AW.

So, CUFF is here. They run, are cowardly, behave nasty to AW and any allies they have, and are making increasingly idiotic threats and claims, such as truly being in controll of the WA. One would think the man (If indeed he is a man) making such claims was lobotomized, or something had taken hold of him and was eating his rational mind away like ice under a hot water faucet.

I submit, to my peers, a small vision of the future. This will spread. More actuall CUFF members will come online, and behave much the same way. The WA will send reinforcements, and soon the population of the server will consist of 49% AW, 49% CUFF, and a lowly 2% of everyone else.

Discovery will not be known for it's new content. It will not be known for it's Role Play. It will not be known for it's unique plot, it's new systems, it's glorius additions.

It will be known, simply as a CUFF/WA battleground.

I will not stand for this. I will be the first to admit that it is good to have some conflict. It gives us a purpose for wanting to better ourselfs. To find new weapon systems. To try new tactics. THIS conflict will bring nothing but bickering, flaming, and it will ruin Discovery's reputation.

The very center of this cancer is the AW. But we need not delve that deep. We can wipe this away as if it were nothing more then a thin film of scum. The answer is simple.

Either a high-ranking member of CUFF comes out publicly and apologises for the nigh-unforgivable behavior of his or her subordinates, or we cast out CUFF.

Leave no place for them to hide. Let no player lift a finger to help them. Ignore them, and let the AW tear them to shreads. Indeed, if you feel the need FIGHT them! But never help them. They have shown no honor, no respect, no remorse, and no sanity. They are worthy of neither pitty or mercy, and certainly not respect.

My friends, this cancer is small now, but it will grow. Indeed, it already is. If we do not act, it shall consume us. I do not want to see this representation of days of work and toil, this great mod, our Freelancer HOME to be ruined by another clan, who can't even seem to decide when they started!

I, personaly, will do nothing to help CUFF. I will play my part as it is in the server, but they will get no help from me. I ask you, my fellow Discovery players, to do the same.

I agree with you Kane. And i will fight them as AW, 8492, phantom and with my rivate chars. I see now that they didnt came here to fight AW, but to destroy our comunity.

I command now to all AW troops to destroy them when found. No matter where they are (exept ny of course).
i ask to all non-AW that do as kane said, and make this place a living hell to all UCFF who threaten the Discovery Gaming Comunity. This must be stopped now.

Im thinking to create the DDF. Discovery Defence Force. But as im going on vacation tomorrow, i wont be able to lead it.
It will be a faction dedicated to destroy all of those who threat the People of DiscoveryGC in this server.

As for the fleet buildup - last night two more of you appeared - AT LEVEL 55 or 65 (not sure).

Hello. I have never bothered to post here before, and I am rather unhappy I am forced to now. I have visited these forums numerous times in checking up on the Asgard Warriors. I have been been very proud of their progress and prowless in battle. I have gotten to know the community to an extent, and have never had too much of a problem with anything here. I have found the Discovery Server a great source of strength for the able pilots of the AW.

The Warriors of Aesir, and all their divisions by proxy, are honorable Warriors, we will only speak if we can back up what we can say, and if proved otherwise we will say nothing at all. If asked to fight, we will fight. We are no cowards. We'd rather die in the fire of battle, then live in the shame and darkness.

I don't want this to become a spam war, or a flame war. I have no interest in letting these forums deteriate.

As far as I can tell, CUFF went to our website and forums. they saw the Empire and the glory of it. They had nothing better to do and they wanted to attack us, they wanted to hurt us. Rather then take on the Core of the Empire itself, rather then attack the Imperial City. They saw the Asgard Warriors, with their numbers at about 13 strong, and assumed it would make a weaker target. Alas for them, the Asgard Warriors were more prepared then they suspected, and now they spend the majority of their time avoiding battle.

No Cuff has ever stepped foot in the Imperial City, for they fear purity of the heart.

Wedge himself said it, he doesn't care for the community. His agenda is the harrassment of AW and WA forces.

If he wants a war, then let there be a war. With goals, pre-agreed on battles, territory. Let us RP a war. There is at least something to that, something that can reach resolution.

But if they are going to sit in the shadows, to hide from confrintation, to break server rules and spam the forums. To have blatent disreguard for the community as a whole. at the expenss of the destruction and disunity of the community.

If CUFF saw this server fall in to chaos and disuse, they would be none happier. They would feel as though they've succeded, and pat themselves on the back.

AW has put a lot in to his community, AW has invested itself in the continued existance of it.

AW, WA and myself, all care for this community.
