Since the retrieval of the Azurite Compound from the Delta’s K’Hara Reactor I came with some results upon intensive atomic analysis. This part of Galicia has been heavily retrofitted to fit my “taste” and line of work. I’ve called this section of the station, “Pandorum” which has a meaning of fear and terror, during deep-space expeditions, especially when you find yourself in places as the Nomad Worlds.

Now on the subject. The resources that “The Rat” brought to me were completely useful as I’ve depicted. I’ve put some military warheads to be disassembled by the automatons that I have all over the laboratories, to avoid any errors. The anti-matter chambers were stable and ready for experimentation with the Gas. Prior to this step, I’ve managed to be sure that the Azurite Gas will not create another supernova combined with the anti-matter. So I began to “rip” the atoms apart.

Upon first glance, the Azurite Element has complex and diverse properties, all in a yet simple atomic structure. The element can be taken and put around the Noble gases tablet as it has a light atomic mass. As it was collected, the element is quite unstable and it needs to be put in strong containment fields and inserted at very uncommon pressures and temperatures. Since it’s natural form was found inside the Nomad Reactor, the temperature is absolute zero and the pressure is immense. Condition that I was capable to make in the laboratory hence making the Azurite Gas stable, simulating the initial conditions in which it was found. Upon inserting the Gas in the analysis chamber inside the Atomic Spectrophotometer, I’ve observed that element has a combination of organic and non-organic chemical compounds. The organic section of the element is not based on our definition and terms of “Organic Chemical Element”, those being mostly Carbon-based substances. It has actual atomic living cells made of Silicon and other elements that are in low amount and not important to impact any experimentation upon them.

It has another paradox in it. A duality of sub-atomic particles. Electrons and positrons in the same atomic structure ! Usually, they would collide and neutralize each other because positrons are the counterpart of electrons in anti-matter. This extends the capabilities of the Azurite element. Making now more sense of how the K’Hara crafts have such high survival skills and have in their system, naturally evolved anti-matter weaponry. The duality gives the possibility to sustain and exist even in a theoretical anti-universe, filled with anti-matter. There are layers that separate the two sub-atomic particles so they would avoid nullification, layers that generate a variety of energy fluxes that circulate from and within the entire atomic structure. Remember the ancient nuclear model of the atom created by Bohr ? Well it’s the same structure only that those lines that showed the actual trajectory of the particles, actually exist and is this energy mix that currently is unknown for me.

The Azurite is very “allergic” to plasma or any exterior generated electromagnetic currents. It is very well explainable, since the K’Hara organism generate their own electromagnetic and gravity fields at atomic level in order to animate their systems. I would say that the K’Vosh were very clever in engineering them, so every exterior attempt to reverse-engineer them or to interact with them with a similar purpose, is to be eliminated. The Azurite is for them, the “Well of Life” the source of their energy and life. Similar to our blood but it can actually animated severed parts of a K’Hara organism or craft. In the past years I’ve had attempts to adapt the Nomad technology using only what I had at hand, but each time the parts I’ve recovered were inactive and decaying very fast, once they were “disconnected” with the main nervous system and from the entire organism itself. The nervous system cannot exist independently so you can trick the parts such as, Nomad Drives, Adaptive Cellular Armor Coating, Nomad Pulse weapons, Nomad Anti-matter Gun and so on, to operate. Their nervous system is based on Azurite gas, it’s like oxygen to us.

Since plasma is a state of matter, I was thinking to shape similar conditions to the Azurite to see if it can exist in other forms. I’ve ran around 100 hours of simulations to see if the Azurite is capable to have other states and depicted, was a hybrid form of liquid-plasma state, meaning it was extremely condensed, thus increasing the pressure was needed.

I took a high risk by condensing the experimental element, for a second I thought that I was done for but apparently the element was in good conditions and not going berserk. Thankfully. Took another 100 hours to make the first step in the Black Nova project, the Insertion. Azurite Compound into Anti-Matter.

I need to mention that, when I managed to create the hybrid state, I’ve discovered new isotopes that formed around the original unstable atom, I’ve named them Azurite-56 and Azurite-30. The names come from their atomic mass and upon inserting the compound in the fusion reactor, I’ve seen under the spectrophotometer that the atomic structure came to be more complex, thus Azurite-30 and Azurite-56 had more powerful resistant layers that reinforced the inner atomic structure of the original Azurite element. It was like.. everything was working from itself to an extent.

Upon calculations and mathematical simulations I came to the perfect equation that depicted the enough quantity of Azurite and Anti-Matter, temperature, pressure, radiation in order for the experiment to succeed.

"Fusion Core"

Thus the Azurite Compound bars were inserted in the Fusion Reactor, inside it’s core there was already the Anti-Matter that was held with powerful electromagnetic fields in a completely void-like environment. The bars were inserted in the extraction chamber of the external layer of the Core. The bars opened and inside the core, the Azurite Compound was injected. What I saw blew my mind and it’s a puzzle for me even now.

When the Azurite Compound came in, I expected it to either explode and take with me half of the system or to vanish because of the nullification. But the contrary occurred. The Azurite entered inside the Anti-Matter like it was embraced by it. The Azurite Gas had a light-green color because of the hybrid state and it’s new isotopes, but upon mixing with the anti-matter, the compound turned blue then it switched to a dark purple and it’s like it went completely insane. Bursts of energy fluxes emerged and it’s form started to change, energy particles came from nowhere. The behavior of the Compound was actually adaptation to the anti-matter environment. It took the properties of anti-matter and even took the resistance to electromagnetism. That was.. Incredible. I have no idea how the compound managed to do that. What I managed to see was pure nuclear physics but inside the fusion core, things went almost sci-fi. The energy layers inside the Azurite atom had something to do, as I’ve stated I am not aware of their origins. Perhaps in my later reports I can find something, or I’d require more analysis on Nomad organisms.

This was the first step into the Black Nova’s development. I would require more Azurite resources for the experiment to fully succeed into a designed hybrid weapon. It’s only the beginning. When I will take the fusion cores of all the military vehicles I’ve received and the anti-matter from all warheads then I will have the power necessary to make developments of the singularity weapon I require. The compound obtained inside the Core will be named the Black Nova Element, because it’s.. a “mutated” form the original Azurite, combined with it’s own isotopes and with the properties of the anti-matter. Currently I cannot tell if the anti-matter is .. there or not. I tend to believe the Azurite took the anti-matter properties completely thus neutralizing it’s trace and remaining in a new form. I am watching now the Core chamber with this dark purple compound that feels.. “Alive”.

This Azurite is the new attraction to some groups but I doubt someone will make the best out of it. One thing I know, Commune has every resource available to get what it takes from the K'Hara.

Finally I got back on track and went back to the new established Pandorum Deck.. I am pleased to see that all the equipment and all the setup was moved, entirely to and assembled like it was on Galicia. Even the Black Nova reactor is placed into the same state.

Prior to re-activation, I checked the preliminary status of the newly obtained element to see if any abnormalities have appeared during the 2 month pause. The atomic structure of the compound is still strongly arranged, the matter/anti-matter proportion and duality are balanced as firstly obtained. For security reasons, I will keep the right proportions and the other technical production specifications only to myself and trusted staff. Not all from Commune even will know the exact how-to produce this compound after I will further analyze it thoroughly.

From already 3 days I’ve started to continue my analysis about the applicability of the compound and also made further tests on which I managed to complete the Stage 2 of the Black Nova Project. As of the first day, I started to analyze again the behavior of this new volatile compound, based on the Azurite’s natural behavior when exposed to different factors such as, contact to plasma, various EM frequencies from the specter, and also tested it’s exposure to organic lifeforms. I even simulated silicon-based lifeforms to get into direct contact and see what happens.

At first, the impact with high-compression plasma nanotubes, that are usually used into various fueling processes at small scales, was indeed very explosive. Thank the containing field that resist, but for a second I thought I’d bring half the station with me. Jared would’ve killed me. I saw the entire atomic process at the spectrophotometer to make some spectral analysis and given from the resulted diagrams, what I saw was that a percentage of the atoms from the plasma molecules, upon hitting the Black Nova atoms, created a series of rudimentary energies that created several forces. These forces gave motion to the atoms inside the Nova, and moved themselves with several attometers in-between their orbitals.

That means, that if given enough quantity of plasma, the Black Nova can act as a natural propeller, given from the propagation of the said mechanical forces that develop at atomic level ! Furthermore, with more analysis it could sustain a viable engine. I need to make the calculations in order to see the right quantity so I will avoid some… I don’t know… dislocating an entire solar system ? I am joking. Tho’ theoretically it could be possible. But that for another time.

This theoretical Black Engine.. so I’d like to think of it’s name, -also note, that the experiment was made in void inside the reactor chamber-, would make displacements upon space into a matterless environment. You see.. the plasma gives a certain amount of oscillations between the electrons and positrons from the atom’s orbitals. Since there is this duality, basically the interactions vibrate at such a high frequency that the matter itself… moves. I have to understand the process yet. I have a theory that the unknown energy layer that separates the positrons and electrons from neutralizing themselves is the key. I theorize there is the magic between the universal laws. The strong nuclear force, the weak one, gravity and the EM. With EM I had some interesting results.

And so we came to day two, where I started my experiment with the EM’s full specter array. Since I was rather intrigued by the energy layer between it. I tried to expose a Black Nova atom to a series of radiation from all the EM specter, one by one. The microwave frequency was the most intriguing one. As I’ve bombarded all sides of the atom with the radiation, I’ve seen how the positrons and electrons changed their properties to their counterparts. The electrons became positrons and the positrons became electrons. Basically matter and anti-matter changed places. This was facilitated by the energy layer, I’ve named it Synk’s Barrier. I suck at naming.

Synk’s Barrier, -well it already feels weird to speak about it like that but oh well..- basically is the threshold between the two and there is an unusual presence of the strong nuclear force. What you might know about it, that the Strong Nuclear Force, is basically one of the forces that governs the Universe as we know it. It’s the force that keeps atoms and everything material together. I’ve realized that the Barrier when “tickled” with hundreds of thousand of gigawatt microwave power.. it changes it’s own polarity. When that happens, it inverts the polarity of the electron/positrons and slowly there is a chain reaction which changes the properties of the entire “side” of the atom, thus the transformation from anti-matter->matter and matter->anti-matter is capable. I will clearly say that the Barrier is a true engineering wonder.

So basically the strong nuclear force has been.. controlled by the creators of the Azurite in order to make this property happen. This led me only to the idea that applied with good usage, it can even surpass the Slomon K’Hara weapons. Because what they have is natural.. there is indeed a duality in the Singularity Cannon that they do have, but I can consider that this can be applied into a normal attack craft weaponry. I am considering that the reload rate would be medium-high, but the impact would be colossal.

If the compound is actively bombarded with microwaves at high frequency, the changing status of matter/anti-matter would be so high that with every material that would touch, the anti-matter would shred to dust the contact material and secondly the changing state of the compound would rip the material by dismantling the atom chain itself. Of course, I need to think of a way to “energize” all this into a bolt of Black Nova compound. Since it’s basically a weird state of gas-plasma it could be ionized and propelled via electro-magnets to contain it and for a specific range in space, would hit the target and literally disintegrate it.

The 3rd day I conducted tests with organic lifeforms. I can only say that the Black Nova in it’s status could basically… mutate/degenerate all living life on a planet. Plants are instantly melted and the flesh-based organisms are highly mutated that result in the short death of them. Weird thing happen if two organic lifeforms die by the Black Nova one another. As in, if a plant and an animal would die close to eachother, the plant would “parasite” the dead body of the animal, and… well to an extend taking control of the corpse. It sounds like an ancient zombie movie, but the Black Nova does that. And it’s very.. frightening to be honest. This can be completely created as bio-weapon.

I will propose to make some tests on a planet, specifically Gaia. I’d love to see what happens there. But that happened on carbon based entities. I tried it on the Silicon. You know, the Slomon K’Hara are silicon based entities and the Azurite have no actual impact on their organisms. I had organic samples from the trip I had into the Azurite Nomad Reactor and combined the two. Well, the nomad cells react very violently upon contact with the Black Nova, because it’s a very mutated version of the natural Azurite Gas in which Nomads presumably have in their systems. This is like a poison that attacks first the initial layers of the cell, which are highly protective and “fight” back by releasing some defensive enzymes.

This is all natural to their cells because it detects foreign substances that interact with their tissue so they are basically immune to many hazardous situations. The Nova element, basically eats the enzymes and mutates itself in a way that it makes the nomad cell to actually consider the Nova as natural. The Nova enters the cells and destabilizes the entirety of the cell procedurally.

Here it can be seen the first stages of contact with the cellular formation. The black circles are the Black Nova molecules making their way through the tissue.

Perhaps this will be used if … well. Countermeasure for our blue friends if let’s say… thing go out of hand. I will end my report here, and I will wait for my new colleagues to gather around Pandorum and finalizes the final steps of the Black Nova creation and production.

After several setbacks, I have been handled the fulfillment of the Black Nova project. I have personally studied the Doc's theory, and I'm genuinely astonished by this marvelous wonder of bioengineering. However, the sample itself was but a non-ionized version, a very dangerous gas with a rather long half-life atomic decaying. It seems that the Black Nova sample was made using an ionized version of the usual Supernova antimatter sample. Not that I wish to imply that he had made any flaws in his project, however I do believe that if we take a closer look at the Anti Matter sample with the Anti-Mass spectrometer prior to its insertion within the Azurite compound counterpart, we might be able to figure out the reason why is the sample taking so long to decay.

I am looking forward to re-creating Synk's experiment by using an ionized version of the anti-matter sample. According to Turok's theory, there are several membranes of dimensions which collide with each other in order to obtain actual, physical anti-matter. Nowaday's anti-matter weaponry is mostly based off of basic, stomaching H-fuel refinery and thousands, perhaps gazillions of gigawatts of power condensed trough several mirrors which merely involve dimensional colliding, tubed and tucked up into one, tiny chamber, which is allegedly meant to unleash its dangerous overcharge onto a designated target. It's basically the same kind of thing that happens within jump holes. Once something enters within the jump hole, the ship gets plowed through several dimensional branes, acting like a slingshot for the ship itself, launching it thousands of astronomical units away. In my opinion, this is but basic chemistry. Actual anti-matter would involve several millions of power units to create a minuscular fragment of what once was the Big Bang that once spawned the entire universe as we know it.

Turok's theory involved eleven dimensional branes (which stands for membranes), where the third and the fourth one were meant to collide with each other in order to create an actual dimensional discrepancy, thus creating actual anti-matter. Luckily, this involved a machinery powered by a massive H-fuel tank. (An actual dimensional collider would have halved the station's entire power supply at once.) Now, ionizing the sample obtained would be close to impossible since we're talking about anti-matter, which is not even supposed to exist within this dimension. However, if we do think about this in a theoretical way, the anti-matter would be the opposite of the matter. The latter is the opposite of the former. That being said, protons might be electrons or vice-versa. Synk himself seems to approve this theory he made beforehand.

Synk's machine seems to be working, however, I have re-created a miniaturized model based off of the blueprints of Synk's. However, I have been using my own model for the anti-mass spectrometer. Its blueprints are, well, not completely legitimate. This thing right here is allegedly meant to be operating deep within a hidden research facility in Liberty. Anything about that said station appears to be classified, Liberty itself denies its very existence. In any case, this anti-mass spectrometer AMS-RHJ 003 model takes up quite a bit of space, and I'll be damned, getting all of the rotor parts was a huge hassle. It took me an entire week to gather one-fifth of a rotor. Do the maths and you can figure out how long this goddamn thing took me. Well, of course, I haven't done this single-handedly. I have been helped by a few friends of mine from the old Fujin project and a bunch of Blood Dragon defecting engineers. One of them's life got cut short due to an external airlock failure. He's still out there, though. Somewhere, drinking his sake in front of the dramatically astonishing sun of Omicron Lost...

That's too bad. Sucks to be him right now.

Once the anti-mass spectrometer's photon arrays have been brought up to 105%, I have managed to move my anti-matter sample within the sample chamber. I was expecting a major crash, and probably the explosion of the entire reactor, however I could not have blown this opportunity as a whole. Because the photon arrays of the spectrometer are elaborating and bombarding stabilizing arrays on the sample simultaneously. This allowed me to secure the stabilized anti-matter sample quickly. Now that I'm done with this hassling, salt-inducing experiment I can finally focus on Synk's footprints, and retake the test with my own machinery.
