Hey Spazzy, forgive my stupidity but what that means? depending on score, or supply results bonus may be increased/added/paid to suppliers (hope) or what?

I was there several times, my friend. I always noticed 4-5 very new players who came to defend human kind and their lifespan was like one minute or less. I doubt some of them ever finished vanila FL. Newbies always log lawful side. In 2-3 hours, here they are again. Sometimes they just reengage 4-5 times in 10 minutes and that doesn't help the score.
Others that showed up on human chars were awesome snub pilots, but they managed to kill just worst Nomad pilots. They were under heavy solaris fire, except when hugging Nagumo to take a breath. I'll keep logging my baby Nomad, as I'm 3 of 21 victims. For me this is awesome opportunity to just fly and press-right-button without being responsible for balance and fairplay.
Reading Nommie chat, I can tell you we are coming to gank, or be ganked. Why can't Humans send 4-5 escorted caps and win big time, is beyond my knowledge. I guess they will get aggravated after losing few transports.
It means that the scoreboard, at certain points in time, will trigger changes to the event itself.
The nomads scoring a third of their max points and being winners landed you the trade event.
Once they reach 100% eventually, depending how much cargo has been transported (And what the RP between the locals is), will result in one of three outcomes.

Whats wrong with the amount of reward on offer for trading?
I mean 17kk profit, Ring to Kyushu and about the same doing the reverse isn't that bad for the travel time, although there is the Terrorist factor to look out for.
However I had a nice surprise on my very first run, I was greeted by a Kusari Police Officer who thanked me for my efforts. This is beyond price in my book.
The transport run is not worth the time. Beef up the numbers m8! In real life supplies and warefare cost a fortune which got whole countries in debt...
I don't know what the problem is. It's an okay trade route with pirates/nommies. What else could you ask for? If you don't want danger on your traderoutes, you might as well play single player. Y'all wanna get rich so you can buy more trade ships to get even richer ad infinitum.
As a trader/smuggler, getting caught by pirates is my favorite part. Otherwise it's just a bland journey from point A to B while I check facebook on my phone. Baddies keep me on edge, they make the route fun. I think I explored every single way possible of getting into Puerto Rico during the last event, even if it meant taking a longer route, thus making less profit/time.
The difference being that you're not being caught by a greedy pirate hounding the event, you will be caught by nomad cannons of many sizes. The only possible solution they have for your encounter is death.
