"Very soon, when your father gets here with the bags we can get into our swim suits and go, mk?" Nicole couldn't help but smile at Lindsay's excitement, it was radiant. "Until we can get changed, how about we pick out the movie we'll watch tonight? I got plenty of them, I'm sure we can find one you'll like." Nicole opened up a small device she brought with, connected to the Neural Net, she brought up her collection of movies then transferred the view to the large screen in the room.
"Oooh... I don't know!"
She looked through the list, hoping for something she'd seen before that she'd liked. "Something funny.. or.. maybe something 'actiony'! Daddy loves the ones with those guys with guns!"
Nicole giggled a bit. "Watch a lot of action movies does he? Hmm let's see if we can find some of those.." Nicole sorted the movie selections, creating two lists, some comedy movies and some actions films. "Here, use this n goes through them, I'm going to get changed into something more appropriate for the weather here." Nicole handed Lindsay the pad she was using to control her movie selection, grabbing a bag and heading into the bathroom.
She scrolled through the lists, looking for something she'd think they'd all like. With her six year old mind, it had to be the most typical item on the list, which ended up being one of those stupidly badass action movies with all the big named stars.
Outside the bathroom, Nicole would hear the unmistakable sound of Allen bringing up his and Lindsay's luggage. She'd also be able to hear Lindsay's high pitched voice. "Daddy! Look! It's so pretty!!"
Nicole eventually emerged form the bathroom, wearing some shorts and a bikini top hidden under a tank top. "I gave her some movies to look through while I was changing, pick something out for later. Need help with the bags?"
There were three items he'd brought up; Two suitcases and a small backpack shaped like what seemed to be a small, fluffy pink bear. "Nah.. think I got it, hon.." He pulled the two suitcases into their offshoot bedroom, setting them next to the door. He then walked back out, handing Lindsay the backpack. "'bout ready to enjoy some sunshine, sunshine?"
"Yeah!"
He messed around with her hair a little, chuckling. "Alright. Lemme go get changed real quick, then we'll head on out." With that, he walked back into their room, keeping the door open as he searched through one of the suitcases.
Nicole walked out the balcony, looking over the beach as the sunlight was reflected off the sand. "Well.. for the first time in 6 years.. gotta take it off." Nicole let out an audible sigh as she took off her fire pearl necklace, waiting for Allen to finish changing before setting it inside their room. "Hope you got some beach towels in there, I only brought two."
"Of course I do. Think I've got a lounge chair in one of the cases, too.."
He soon walked out of the room, sporting a pair of shorts, a white t-shirt and some rather out-of-regs sandals, as well as a pair of aviators he had placed in his hair above his eyes. He also had a small beach umbrella in hand, holding it like a staff. "Heh.. definitely not military issue, huh?"
Lindsay set the pad down, opening her backpack and pulling out a shovel and pail. "Should I get ready too, daddy?"
"Yea.. go ahead, sweetie. You're wearing your under your clothes, right?"
"Definitely not, but, neither is this." She slipped off her tanktop and shorts that was covering her pink bikini, almost immediately hiding behind Allen, having never been so 'exposed' in public before. I-I'm back here to block the sun.." She wrapped her hand around his, peeking out from behind him, being a little shorter than the man helped her stay hidden, from the front anyway.
Lindsay took of her overclothing, revealing a bright pink bathing suit. She stuffed her clothed in the backpack, hucking it over her shoulder and taking Allen's hand.
"Mhm.. sure you are, hon.." He chuckled, flipping his aviators over his eyes. "Time to get this show on the road."
He picked up a bulky bag which had their towels, sunscreen and what looked like a video camera in it.
They proceeded down towards the beach, setting up the makeshift loiter site for them to lounge in. He staked the umbrella into the sand, opening it's wide brim and laying the towels down in the shade. "Man.. been years since I even thought about doing anything like this.. Missed the hell outta it.."
