Oui, thats fine by me. If you could get Ted to bring about 2000 doses of weed and 200 hounds in his next shipment, that would be much appreciated.
Remy empties his glass of any Gallic Pride it had left and signals the bartender to get him another.
I discussed something regarding this with Nathen the other day. He said something that might interest you and benefit both us and the Ratpack. He had the idea to create a small installation in one of the systems connecting Gallia to Sirius. Something like Lorraine or Provence.
Remy takes the glass the bartender brough over and takes a sip.
If you'd help us build this facility, we could use this has an exchange point. You would bring Sirian goods there and we'd leave some Prometheum and Nox for you to take back.
"Yeah I think Ted'll manage that" said Jimmy adding notes to his pad "and if you're gonna be puttin' somethin' down I'd suggest Provence, it's got a better view."
"Supplyin' bases ain't exactly our thing, paper trails and politics don't mix well with a life skirtin' the law" he added after sipping his drink "we're more about bein' mobile and unpredictable. Though that does bring me back to the little idea me and the Pack had, if you're interested in hearin' it."
Jimmy returned the cigarette to his mouth "Well like I said, me and the Pack like to keep this mobile and unpredictable but we also like a bit infamy" he said grinning slyly "so we were thinkin' of takin' our operation somewhere with a bit of class...Like a Lucullus liner."
Pausing for effect, he added "How would you guys like to hijack one for us?"
He chuckles for a little while and continues to talk.
You like to do things with a nice 'bang' for a smuggler, huh? Can't really say it would have crossed my mind.
He takes another drag from his cigarette and taps it on the tray.
I think we could do something of the sorts, if you really want to. I have to admit it is not really the way I operate. Hijacking a liner brings alot of atention, more so than buying one in the blackmarket or bribing someone. It sounds a bit reckless, but maybe Nathen has someone he can use for the job.
Remy averts his eyes for a moment, noticing something came up on his PDA, but he ignores it, immedeatly looks back to Jimmy and Zero.
Jimmy raised his glass "That's what makes us such interestin' business partners, the Rat Pack always does things a little differently." Taking a healthy sip while somehow keeping his cigarette in his mouth.
"That's why the liner you'll be hijackin' will be empty and already paid for."
"Well" Jimmy said swirling his cigarette nonchalantly "I never said the liner was gonna stay paid for, not after the ship gets hijacked enroute to its delivery destination."
Watching the smoke waft in circles, he glanced between Remy and Zero "That is if some enterprisin' Brigands just happen to be layin' in wait on the lane."
Zero jolts out of his passive state as if the words had suddenly got his attention transfixed.
"Wait what? You want us to hijack a liner and that you've already paid for to cash in on the company's repayment? You get a Liner for cheap and they be non the wiser? I like this plan."
"Bingo, it also helps keep us off the grid. I figure havin' one of the Rat Pack's name on EFL's client records would eventually come back to bite us, one way or the other" he said, shrugging his shoulders. "In return you'd be showin' up the Royalists, braggin' rights over the other Brigands and a great deal of respect from us.
If that ain't enough we can sweeten the offer...How's 40 million sound?"
