You are being paranoid beyond belief. This is to allow people to hack my comms. Mine. My own. I'm not doing anything to anyone without their consent wtf.

I think you misunderstand where I'm coming from.
Was considering the merits of personally using the system.

Okay, well, you need to specify that. As I said before, if you wanna do something like that, you're free to finetune it yourself.
i first though to use dice, but Durandal and I weren't happy with how the worked with the decimal probabilities, so I changed to using a random number function on a google spreadsheet. i think this works pretty well- it covers pretty much all the possibilities, i think. Also, this would allow for both sides to view the hack attempt to ensure fairplay
Well, that would be like someone placing "Unbreakable" encryption on their message, which still needs their permission to be hacked at all, in this manner. The randomness is to add a bit of.... unpredictable excitement, to the proceedings (or at least, thats what i think the reasoning is).

I stop myself from doing that. Again, I'm not sure why I have to keep specifying that this thread is about a system I developed for myself, so people can hack my transmissions. I'm not a fan of people using "unbreakable" encryption, but I'm also not the one doing it so... shrug?
Maybe you could also add a chance of revealing the identity or faction affiliation of an attacker. Otherwise there's no risk of getting discovered as hacker. Just an idea.
i like the idea. only thing is like IRG and ourselves the Abh are research groups even thou we are zoners I think the encryption would be higher since researchers are tech adept
