I enjoyed a recent fight with the MN segment of your faction, they outnumbered us by one fighter but it was still fair. We even did a little bit of rp, albeit limited, before the fighting. I gave the last pilot an honorable duel and he put up quite the fight. All-in-all I have no complaints and felt quite content with the flow of behavior. I look forward to more, as well as preserving this standard of mutual enjoyment.

Thanks for the kind words, we'll see you in space!

I'll settle for a reminder that they can start shooting after the notice and not before.
We take that bit rather serious, we've talked about it internally.
I apologize for my previous feedback, it was the result of the drama between SCRA and BAF in which I unexpectedly got involved.
I had a fresh encounter with BAF|MN today and it was a whole lot better, I don't know how much inRP these "1v1" are especially against known criminals such as TPM, coming from a military side from all people but yeah, nothing to complain about.
I would like to voice my and several of my member's displeasure at several recent encounters with Bretonian lawful OFs, namely BPA and BAF MN.
It's short, really : we're getting really fed up with ganks and unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Recently, a BPA, I forget which, had no qualms about piling up on a perfectly fair fight, with particularly crude RP.
And just now (I know, I neglected the sandwich rule), one BAF|MN whom I won't name joined up a 5vs3 brawl in Dublin. It had started perfectly nicely as a 3v3 between MRG and SCRA, then another showed up... Then a gunboat, and then this guy. Who was focused rapidly, started moving away, hugged the Eldorado POB which naturally got shot, cloaked, went to restock, came back, got focused again, cloaked and presumably restocked before he returned.
I wouldn't know. I died in between to absolutely ludicrous odds.
As I mentioned to Steiner not long ago, these events have been rapidly increasing ever since I asked my members to focus more on Bretonia than Liberty. It made sense inRP, it made sense ingame, and truthfully we all got tired of the bad vibes that permeate most fights in Liberty. It started well, but more and more, Bretonia is turning into a second liberty in regards to fairness and sportsmanship.
On behalf of the MRG, I would like to see this adressed in one way or another. Other than "LOL BUT U GANK 2", mostly because our average concurrent player number simply does not allow us to do so, even if we tolerated it.

BAF| and BAF|MN feel like two separate factions; I've noticed a considerable difference in quality between the two. Compared to BAF|, MN- comes across as a lot more wild, a lot more unregulated and (for lack of a better word) lacking sportsmanship and decency when it comes to fairplay, etiquette and encounter quality.
BAF|MN reminds one all too much of BAF| back when they were renown for bad gameplay and a terrible attitude towards interactions. You've moved on far past that and have gotten so much better (and I can only applaud you for that), but you need to sort out BAF|MN. It has your tag and therefore it's your responsibility. Don't let it drag you down.

Thanks.
I'm not BAF but I fly with them every other day. This is whining. We all know how it works. A fight breaks out, both sides put out word and hope for more to join. Both sides do what they can. Whoever can show up does. It works out how it works out. Sometimes 'balance' can be favored but it all comes together fast and last minute. You shouldn't always have to go easy on the other guys. We all take responsibility for being caught in a battle we can't get out of. If you want balance, assemble a force first. If combat has broken out, we all know its a free for all. I haven't bothered to comment on MRG feedback but it seems appropriate to mention here we all get outnumbered after a fight has broken out eventually. Go for balance before a fight, ask the other players to hold off and do it organized. Otherwise, 'sportsmenship' in this case seems like pier pressure to psychologically force the other side to let you have it. I doubt there is much thought put into these situations, things happen fast in this game. Not everyone plays this for 1v1 or 3v3 in the live environment. You want even matches, that's what Conn is for. New players do not come here to get yelled at for joining up with their guys in a fight. I've never seen MRG or any gallic players hold off in similar situations.

When I came here, that was called skill. If you can get out, dock without it being PVP death, and get back in the fight, that's great! Its almost like...war? That which we are emulating? That's why people come here to play. Besides, you expect BAF, even indie, players to ignore MRG and Coalition fighting in Bretonian space in the interest of your balance? That's oorp to me.
I am extremely disappointed in your reply and have taken good note of what to expect from you in further encounters.
All I hope is that the actual BAF does not share your position.

I am not BAF but I do have a great deal of military experience.
Is this game designed around every body complying with "marquis of queensbury" type rules when emulating war?
Yes there rules in war based upon humanitarian morals but no military force has gone to war hoping for a "fair fight with equal forces and weapons" . The idea is to win the fight, the battle and the war.
Develop your skill, tactics and weapons if you want to win the fight.
First off, I apologize for the bad fight you guys got from a BAF| member. We appreciate that Bretonia gets attention even though Liberty might be the more inviting region to play right now.
That said, we've been made aware of the problems in the behavior of especially MN members. You are not wrong with saying that the MN acts as if they were a separate faction. The shared playerbase is lower than it was once, wich lead to the wrong assumption that the MN does not have to follow orders of higher ranked BAF| members. We are working on rectifying this problem.
Once we get a more clear view of what happened in that paticular fight we will also take appropriate action about the member in question (on that note, whoever was in the fight feel free to PM me on discord or skype, I'd appreciate it)
@"TheUnforgiven" s answer is NOT the BAF|s standpoints, we want to hold up a standart of fairplay.
And at last, as much as I appreciate constructive feedback about the BAF| I would advise to go to the BPA) feedback thread for feedback about this faction, the BAF| HC will not be able to do anything about their misbehaviours even if we wanted to.
