My PC just died. I'll try and get it repaired or just get a new one, however won't be able to log into the game for the next days. Forum, Discord and Skype are still there.
Long story short, the first issues appeared when Warframe crashed more and more frequently. Usually, I was able to play Warframe and random crashes would appear after one or two hours. Two weeks ago, before I deinstalled it, I wasn't able to play a single mission anymore without crashes. There crashes were either shutting down Warframe or crashing the entire PC.
I then ran all kinds of diagnostic tools. First it was said that it's a RAM issue. Then my ATI Radeion HD 4770 was blamed. I installed all kinds of secure cleaning softwares to clean my SSD from dead data, malware and all that and basically freed half of the SSD with that and removing Warframe. I installed the latest drivers for my graphics card. The windows memory diagnostics tool found unsolvable issues. Sometimes when I tried to install the new graphics drivers, even that didn't work.
Generally, the PC crashes only when I do intense things, like playing Warframe or recording Freelancer with OBS. It also starts to turn unbearably slow once Opera (and later Firefox just for comparison) had multiple tabs open, especially when they included videos like YouTube, Twitch or others (;3).
All in all it currently looks like I both need to reinstall my OS after formatting the SSD and then try another diagnostics run on the hardware. Currently, not even Windows 7 Pro works fully. Sometimes when I boot up, it instantly shows an error message whenever I try to launch explorer.exe. Restarting helps, but only so much. Windows Updates seem to be faulty and Windows suddenly started to believe it's not the original anymore. You'd think it's a virus behind it, but it's not.
try reseating ram sticks, take them out, blow about in the slots, re position, try doing that to all thats plugged in
a slight bit of fluff or dirt can screw whole system up and makes some "cleaning" software point to different things that could not be the actual fault
