This database lists all available flotillas within the autonomous fleet of the BDM. Its known that while the BDM do have a recognisable independent naval power within the territories of Rheinland, the relatively large fleet is sectioned off into smaller flotillas to suit the operational doctrine used by the agency and adopting a mass use of smaller sized vessels while retaining larger capital ships for command purposes within the flotillas rather than outright combat.
Established in 823A.S. after the public release of the Tirpitz, the Balder was the sister ship of the original prototype that was slated for Agency operations. The flotilla is currently the established flagship group of the BDM's naval operations. Consisting of a much larger composition of support ships than most other detachments, its task is to defend the main area within Schatten Research Facility located within Sektor-7 and monitor activity within Frankfurt. If major threats are detected within the area, strike craft and support U-Boats are generally dispatched to tackle targets of varying size. The Battlecruiser may be included within combat operations if the need arises when sizable opposition is faced and heavy fire support is required.
The flotilla has undergone numerous upgrades since its establishment and was involved with the offensive into Thuringia during "The Great Purge" campaign and it was the Balder command ship that took command of the operation with all available BDM flotillas and RM support ships into the system to retake the territory from the infected remnants. The Balder was mostly undamaged due to the protection it had from its supporting flotilla's within the campaign. It hosted the agency-marine offensive planetside to secure the imperial fortress back into the hands of the Republic Agency.
The Flotilla now currently resides within Sektor-7, continually being upgraded and supported to maintain its combat effectiveness.

Organized from the ground up to fill in as an on site enforcement group within Rheinlands capital systems, the Delling security division was formed in 824A.S. to meet the defensive needs of New-Berlin and its surrounding systems. This was the second battlecruiser commanded flotilla that fell into the hands of the BDM and as such it did come with substantial objection by not only financial assessors of the government but also rival military commanders that saw this as an over reach of the BDM's naval capacity. The size of this fleet just over takes the flagship fleet for good reason, its objective is a public display of the Agency's willingness to protect its citizens and territories, as such this flotilla is seen working closely with the Federal Police. The flotilla has been part of asset protection around the capital system's trade lane networks and major production facilities, but seems to have a secondary objective. Rumour's and sightings of occasional detachments of the flotilla are seen next to sections of trade lanes and communication satellites while vessels are on patrols, but continually this is speculation.
The task of Delling is to actively monitor communications, electronic intelligence and traffic patrols within the capital systems to enhance the Agency's abilities to avert or manipulate events that may effect the Republic and to also act as a middle-man to ensure that the BDM's internal communications are secure from potential breaches. Possibly one of the most recognized flotilla's within the BDM's arsenal.
The security division is currently deployed around New-Berlin, while it has access to emergency refits at Oder shipyard, its refit and maintenance is generally handled back at Schatten Research Facility in Frankfurt.

The Flotilla was originally commissioned in 818A.S. when the BDM suddenly found a new need to explore deep into the Omicrons when rising tensions, new technologies and a heavy Nomad presence were becoming a major interest for agency gain. Consisting of the most elite crew the BDM has at its disposal, its small size allows for lower logistical reliance as its especially tailored towards deep incursions into unknown and potentially hostile territory. The flotilla was reinforced in 821A.S. with the acquisition of a APM Battlecruiser thanks to the good relations with the Core guild, while the heavy support ship was a much needed boost within the BDM's flotilla capability, it came at a cost of one essential (yet aging) Donau cruiser from this flotilla.
The flotilla has an extensive history with being deployed in hotzones that have a high risk and highly classified nature, being operations against the Order in 822A.S within the deep omicrons, being recalled into Rheinland homespace to be part of "The Great Purge" that saw the MND and BDM retake the installations and planet Weimar that rested within eastern Thuringia and even assisting within diplomatic situations to strengthen ties with the Outcasts while being deployed against the Corsair advances within Omicron Xi. This flotilla while small as played a massive role within entrenching the BDM's political, diplomatic and offensive capability within the far reaches of Sirius where few dare to tread.
The External operations Division is occasionally recalled after quad-monthly periods for maintenance and refits if required or the fleet is freely available without compromising its current deployment objectives.

A supplement division to assist with duties normally found within the federal police, the task of this flotilla is like many others, to ensure the secure flow of goods, safety of the civilian movement in and out of Rheinland and to ensure security against any unwanted individuals that may threaten the state. Commissioned in 814A.S. the Wensburg border division was deployed within the Hamburg system to enforce the Republic's laws within the very edge of their territories, while this fleet may be small, it has seen plenty of action within the many conflicts seen upon this front.
The Wensburg border division didn't only serve as a token checkpoint force, but have been active within deep insertion operations into hostile territory. Namely the Liberty region during the Rheinland-Liberty conflict and was tasked to disrupt shipping within their capital systems. And even until now after the war has ended, they continue to establish intelligence links to ensure Libertonian influence doesn't overstep itself to meddle within Rheinland politics and powers. Currently the flotilla continues to establish itself Bering has seen a crime spike that has leaked into neighbouring systems and as such they proceed to strangle the illegal trade and harassment that unlawful forces try to exploit.
As such with other Border divisions, the Zeisenburg is stationed at the Stuttgart system to ensure that trade traffic, civilian safety and Federal Police supplementation. Although this fleet is place within the border regions near the Omegas to ensure that a large majority of Rheinlands mining industry continues on with minimal incident. This flotilla was originally formed in 805A.S. as part of a monitoring operation to ensure that Hessian and LWB incursions into Rheinland were to be met with quick resistance and as such the composition is one of the largest of all border flotillas. And effective operations that allowed Rheinland Corporations to exploit resources there were met with a reward of a essential heavy support ship. The RNC-Zeisenburg was originally a cruiser built in 811A.S. and was used by the Rheinland Military reserve fleet, but it was slated for decommission due to budget cuts following the end of the Liberty war, although was soon quickly acquired by the BDM as a cost saving measure to supplement the anti-piracy efforts; one that was nicely enforced by the corporations to ensure the continued security of their operations.
The Zeisenburg border division continues to defend against insertion assaults from Hessian and Coalition forces effectively and has been repeatedly upgraded with advanced sensors and monitoring equipment.
