Understandable, but these are often the hardest things to work out or put on paper. Considering the fact that how people perceives a faction can vary wildly. The best that can be done is to trust the vision of the people currently being consulted on the design direction. We will assent that the webbing on the wings is perhaps too.. angst. But the core design feels right.
As one of our members aptly said. The ship is just inexplicably Xeno in its posturing and shape.

Personally, I prefer a more streamlined shape and I'm not a fan of the extremities. There's promise here, however.
Yeah the wings need work. The direction we'd like for it is to be more visibly armored. They seem a little fragile and the webs are going under the axe.. ax..? Whatever, they're being yeeted and deleted for obvious reasons. There's a line we don't want to cross, more specifically the line between utilitarianism and vanity. The mouth on the nose is probably far enough, can be re-angled to look aggressive and more snake-like.
The main working premise was to fuse multiple ships that could appropriately inspire the Xenos being a Liberty terrorist group. The Guardian, Eagle and some mish-mash of mining equipment. Having it look nice would be a nice plus for recruitment posters.

What kind of armour are you going for?
Maybe some kind of whipple armour or reactive armour slabs/tiles would look quite cool.
THE SYNDIC LEAGUES
(A co-operative of Rheinland's Shipping Unions, retired from a life of piracy.)

This addresses what little criticism I had for the design. Ship looks cool.
Maybe replace the webbing with reactive armor pads, like Riehl said, or riveted armor plates or something.

The Xenos in vanilla had very spare references as to what their ship inspiration might be based on. The snake thing has steadily evolved from the rather common mantra of "mess with the viper get the fangs" and is part of tradition. The only vanilla source seems to point towards spiders, but it's evolved into snakes and spiders. With the latter being used for guns, the former for codenames. It's just a nod to this.
EDIT: Snakes are pretty symbolic of the American revolution. The thing below should prove familiar if you do some light research into the subject.
The ship does not feel Xeno at all to me. It feels more like an amalgamation of civ and corsair lines in a weird way. It looks good on its own, but it would not really feel Xenos.
