Question begs, WHAT exactly does feel Xenos to us? It's not like there was a Xeno shipline to begin with. If you ask me, Xenos should go for something similar to the Necrosis, still looking liberty but their thing.

This is an important point. We have no baseline for what a Xeno ship would look like in Discovery yet, so saying that this ship does not fit in is purely an exercise in headcanon.
Instead of trying to figure out whether it corresponds to the vague and nebulous idea we all have in our minds of what a Xeno fighter should look like, we should look at it as the starting point of the ship line: How solid of a basis is this design for a possible future Xeno shipline? Looks pretty good to me.
The problem with this, is how Xenos lack real resources and manpower to actually grow, not to mention produce/operate capital ships, they are radical terrorists who are not that numerous, therefore it's hard to decide what their "Shipline" should be, or not to mention if they could afford building their own, with tools they don't really have.
RP factors aside, this model sure would fit the Xeno theme, and would give a clear distinction from the other surrounding factions, yeah.
And as I already told Lucas, this is a very good modelling work right there Kudos again!
Not a problem. Might have been a problem when the Xenos were first founded but certainly not in the present-day.

Refrain from imposing your own uneducated interpretations of other factions into a thread asking for design suggestions. We most obviously know our faction better than you do. And if you have misconceptions in need of clarification then direct them to our feedback thread. We are more than happy to educate you with the correct facts.

By this logic many unlawful factions with the exception of one or two would have their own ships and none except the Hispanic unlawfuls would have their own warships. We aren't producing a capital ship-line so I'm confused where some of this is coming from.
I would appreciate if people posting adhered to what Lucas asked for, which is feedback and suggestions. This is not a thread for you to discuss Xeno lore or your perceptions of the faction. There's a place for that and it most certainly isn't here.
Looks more xeno than the prosecutor and zoner VHF does, I don't see why everyone's so riled up about this, great model. Fits xenos, end of story. I already gave my two cents to lucas directly and now the ship looks great, hope the model is used.
I'd like to see a side-by-side of the Rancor next to either the Guardian or Eagle. I mostly like the initial design, but it looks really long from the top and bottom view; it feels more SHF than VHF to me right now. Maybe the shape of the vessel is throwing off my perspective?
I think the mouth is super rad and fits the decade-old snake theme. I also enjoy the web-like armor designs on the wings. As for the wing design themselves-- Huh, they almost look like crab claws when looking straight down at the ship? But! I notice that the wings have some hollow struts that make them look like pincers or spider legs coming together, which is definitely unique, in a refreshing way imo.
So far, it's coming together nicely! I'm looking forward to seeing the further tweaks that have been mentioned previously.
