Riehl shoots a look about as tough as a loosely packed snowball. It just isn't in her today.
"Alright. I'm game."
"If I've got this rundown right, you ran into a new set of chompers out there. Gazal Initiative - edgeworld spooks, by the way it's cut. That's a point against them. Anticorporatist is always a good sign, so I won't knock it down just yet."
"I'm gonna' assume you mean a power vacuum. That's going to... uh, suck. Let us know if there's any way we can help out without treading on your toes. Heh."
She collapses into herself witha single eyebrow twitch.
"Oh. Don't hate your enemies. That's the fast-road to damaging your own soul. You fly without that, you can't make the target calls. You're sitting on enough antimatter to level a neighbourhood. I'm only going to clear you for active flight if you can keep that strapped down under your own helmet."
"Still; great work out there."
"We'll gather them their two hundred pilots. As for Omicron Minor? I don't know where the hell that is. Ping the Junkers - they'll have an idea."

"Don't worry about Omicron Minor, I can get us there. Flown escort jobs a few times through the system when I was living out in the edge worlds. Don't know where this "Warhound" battleship the Gazal guy was talking about is exactly, but he claims it's parked near Tarancon. That's a Junker base, so we should be able to at least dock and resupply there if nowhere else.
Won't be a pretty journey though. The shortest route takes us directly through Core territory, and they're not particularly fond of visitors. The only other realistic option would be to go through Omicron Xi - a Corsair sector bordering the Outcasts, sounds like fun huh. Whichever way you look at it, it'll be one hell of a voyage.
The way I see it, the real question we should be asking is what these Gazal guys actually want with two hundred civilian prisoners. The spook we spoke to in Hamburg was talking about a "fate worse than death". Sure we're not exactly fond of IC, Republican and the like, but do we really hate their captains that much?
I don't know, doing business with that guy just makes me uncomfortable. But it's your call - I'll get you to Minor either which way, I won't leave you to make that journey alone even if I'm not sure I agree with the deal.
To: Riehl From: Van Hamburg, Hamburg Cell Subject: Preparations
Me and Kessy’ took a little vacation. The route to Minor has been found. I’m still working on that Uruz, but I’ll have it before we set out. Remember, we have to keep this in-cell for now, upon conditions of the Gazal. We'll start hunting down those captains, someone tell our Core friends that we're taking the job.
