I'd like a very big, very slow, high capacity cargo ship just to not pop down a weird temporary pob.

Though the barge might be a bit too big, making it completely unusable with asteroids.

Barge is far to big, I remember first time I seen one. Damn thing was stuck!. I'd rather fly anything else.

If I remember correctly, the Barge had a max speed of 40 or there about.

The Zoner group I was with that had one gave up on using it and just stuck with Whales because you could make multiple trips in the same time.

Would there be any issues with allowing it?

All those people, who originally had a Barge, may feel aggrieved because their original Barges were suddenly made in to the Civilian Carriers.

People were buying them from each other for billions. If I remember correctly, the highest price paid was somewhere in the region of 20 billion.
