Additionally, if extremely profitable trade events ran every week then people would soon tire of them, or have no reason to participate.

I'm on board with Loken here. In case of a temporary jump hole, nerfing otherwise OP routes/sellpoints is good. If everyone has a lot of cash, nobody bothers to trade anymore.
On the other hand, we could use this thread to brainstorm for other good routes that have come to life with this jump hole.

And the broken economy that makes it nearly impossible to get money is why new players keep leaving. As in there were 7 people I got to actually try the game, and they quit within the first 4 days because getting to 4mill for a better ship was like a month of grind.

This is why people often give new players starting cash.
