I'd be willing to give the RM something to do, if a running battle to kill a military defector and one of the most wanted men in Rheinland could constitute as 'something to do'.
I actually like the unseen Rheinhardt. Just for one, I'd like to see a science fiction leader who's a remote, inacessible figure beyond the scope of all but the largest stories who acts as a plot device.

' Wrote:Unseelie has a point, Rob. I know you prefer to lead the faction from a political standpoint (by portraying the Reinhardt internally) rather than coming to the field in the shoes of the high ranked military leader. Problem is that when you come around as Lt. Engel or Cpl. Zirzow, our low ranked pilots don't recognize them as being Virus' characters or worse, they do, and all may gather mixed feelings about leading or following somebody else's orders when you could/should(?) be doing it yourself. I'm not proposing that you give up playing these characters. What I'm saying is that it wouldn't hurt us for you to have a military character from which you could lead us in the field, or at least share leadership with Caylith and Kane. I think it would add to RM's identification with its leader. Even though we have access to Reinhardt in our forums, he is not there flying with us.
Hmm... I could play my BDM more and take command. I have also been debating creating a RM Battleship again that would be used not as Reinhardt's ship, but as a third "Admiral." This could be shared, but I was thinking for personal use along with a Wrath for this Admiral. Good idea or no?

I think it's an excellent idea. After all, that's pretty much what Caylith does.
I particularly like the RP from many RM pilots, such as Gronath's, but I find that (understandably, due to the Diamond/Niobium run) the RM sit and camp Planet New Berlin quite a lot.
Would there be any chance of some variation in where the RM hang out? I believe Mjolnir often patrols when he gets the chance. Stuttgart and the like could use some iron-fisted love.
I do indeed patrol when we have enough people on, but we try to cover the planet at all times as there is so often a group or a single pilot causing some sort of trouble around it.
I'll do my best, however, to start patrolling around when I can in my RM character. Thanks for the feedback Blunt.
