Teaching, all that stuff is done in conn.
I would like to mention that except all this, Connecticut is also a system where you can take some rest from the RP environment and just shoot things if you get a group to FFA or other performances. The system is useful, but obviously needs an upgrade

If im flying around with a lot of contraband and the people who should patroll the system im flying through are yust doing some shooting in Conn that is exactly what i think.

I still think you should do that kind of teaching and training within your own group and defenitly not with the ingame RP enemy.

I don't know if that could be done only in Conn. Again, might be Old on the server but in the past, we used to RP simulated encounters for training near home bases, or better yet, military bases. Part of the fun was also to fly around in a Starflier going to take a double bribe and do missions to get the ID, meanwhile getting a big helo from a traveller. Again, armour and ammo transfers were done outside Conn, like literally for everything (maybe the players had more integrity and didn't try to Rp or oorp a theft of goods?).
Again about the teaching can be done anywhere, not only Conn.
Now, all of that is easier to be done in Conn, yes, true, but as someone else said, while everyone else is in Conn, the rest of the server gets no population, we get emptier systems and empty systems brings fewer interactions, fewer interactions (good or bad) may make someone getting bored (someone who wanted to come and live the inrp environment).
Yet removing the system which been part of other people lives for so long don't know if will do any good now. Is like teaching an old dog new tricks...

Not true, that's not what used to happen in the past. When Conn was a lot harder to access, instead of sitting in Conn people would sit around activity hubs like Theta, NY, Gamma, Alpha, New Berlin and so on and would plan raids. And those were the same people that now log to sit in Conn. Transfers and so on might become less convenient, but still easily doable. Conn really takes away from the RP environment, part of the reason why there's often nothing happening in the game with 80 people on, when 25 out of those 80 sit in Conn instead of sitting in NY/Gamma etc and planning to do stuff inRP.
If people sit in conn, they don't want to have RP
They want to shoot mindlessly things, and then return to RP
Do you want to have multiple psychos going around, who just shoot anything in their sight? Tiger
We already have.... people who don't do enough conn and shoot everything in their sight... Tiger
We don't need them more than they exist now.
