Observing this event has been absolutely amazing - initially it looked as if this would be an extremely one-sided affair, with the Separatists being fairly brutally squashed. Much to my delight, the combat (and organisation) picked up mid week, and by the end of the event the scores had narrowed to a dead heat.

Overall, we've seen over 200 player kills in the event zones over the course of the week, which is an astounding outcome, nearly matching the enormous results of the Rheinland civil war events last month. We've already started the next phase of the Liberty Insurgency events here.

There have been some changes made to the game environment as a result of the developments portrayed by this event:

• Freeport 2 has been "destroyed". This means the station has been set to neutral rep and is no longer dockable.
  
• Marshall Station has been "destroyed". This means the station has been set to neutral rep and is no longer dockable.
  
• Pending technical implementation, both the Liberty Separatists and Hellfire Legion will have their IFF and IDs replaced with the Liberty Insurgency, representing the merger of both entities.

As always, anyone who participated is entitled to claim a custom forum title. These are as follows:

• Insurgent Defenderst: Insurgent Survivor.
  
• Liberty Attackers: Bering Vanguard.
  
• Pirate (Joker.and.the.Thief, 1): King among Thieves.
  
• Separatist Traders: Blockade Runner.

I'd like to thank Jammi for organizing this, my girlfriend wherever and whoever she's with now, and all my great competitors, especially Snak who actually made me want to be no.1, all the great seppies and legion who randomly joined forces in fleet fights.
