Why wouldn't you check the ENVIRONMENT that you're going to be playing in? Anyone who has a mild degree of competency would check the playing field before using it.
or it was intentional and the player flying the ship knew exactly what they are doing
something i would expect

No. It wasn't rigged since I play neither Kusari nor Gallia. As I said, I had no clue that the cloud did that.
I will check this as sys 'dev', probably after the last patch somebody fucked up, just like in texas with 3000 per second damage cloud (it's much)
Gallic players tears complaining about all incoming in 3, 2 1... Just joking, gg all.
From my point of view it was nice, Gauls had the upper hand (as always) but resistance was fierce (We just died when in range).
For those who're complaing about the asteroid and nebulas, what do you excpect? It was the most logic route for a damaged Toku to follow. Cheers to the KNF for this W!
Well looks like people did show up
And Kusari won anyways! Congrats!
And yeah PePe there is no mmr or matchmaking
And conn exists if people want fair fights without consequences
It's just the way it's setup sadly
I see it in Liberty with having a new player faction
- The aces log only against you and you have no chance to win and when you bring numbers or bigger ships so you have a chance you get loads of oorp grief.
I wish more people didn't like conn like me and were groupfight and faction whores that log whatever side makes big close fights likely to happen
I still remember pe'peh nomad snub that appeared in PePe lead Sair raid in Delta hahaha
After doing some maths, turned out that there were no chance for Gallia side win this engagement.
Starting Titan HP: 331 285 984
Event End Titan HP: 20 683 310
Total amount of damage: 310 602 674
Damage Per Minute: 331 285 984/14 = 23 663 284 DPM
Ideal time of killing: 331 285 984/23 663 284 = 14 minutes
Whole engament lasted for less than 14 minutes. Other 9 to 10 minutes were spent in a broken asteroid field.
Titan KuBC is in 2k range. (by Grosh)
So, there were 2 titans. KuBC titan got separated from KuBS Titan and was priority target because of that. Time was wasted on killing it. More time spent on finding KuBS again. When Gallics finally started to shoot at KuBS Titan, it was already halfway through.
In conclusion, even if event team did the math, they decided to ignore the absolutely broken huge field which resulted in a huge time loss. I hope this will be a lesson to the event team so things will be tested more.
