Please do not use LPI- Roleplay to gain trust with Bretonia.
Hey awesome Idea - let's go together! Is Kalh the best person to contact or someone more active these days? I will shoot some LPI guys a message
Basically it's an internal event w.o. preset numbers as it's hard to know who shows up. We set time, rough goals and do RP on the way - have a lot of laughs, make friends, and usually get ambushed and die hah.
You can get references from OSC, Unioners and others on us
EDIT: eh reading this back I just realized I described a totally standard convoy and made it seem like some shiny new diamond - so yes. Convoy. LPI Pmed. We will do this in-Rp if there's interest.
THIS GOES TO EVERYONE ELSE FROM ANY FACTION READING THIS (hostile or friendly) - PLEASE PM HC FOR ANY ONE-OFF JOINT LOG IDEAS. We are open to anything within reason.
There are a lot of set message engagement notices coming from 46th ships. By this I mean /1 /2 and then opening fire.
You can do this and as long as there is sufficient roleplay and time to respond given, you are not breaking the server rules.
My feedback is that using set messages as engagement notices with the regularity ships using this faction's tag are doing isn't the most engaging way of interacting with others, even if they are reds. It would be more interesting to see more actual words typed.

Up to you, I guess.
Hi, Mep, good to see you and good to know you expect better interaction with us. Rest assured this has been discussed already with the ranks -- some of our recruits are new to Disco itself, not only the faction -- and is being improved upon. Lemon for one has been working hard to instill proper naval procedures on the boys, just like he taught me back in the day.
As for me, I think multiple players who fly unlawful can attest that I am RP first, PVP second, and even on engaging I usually do 4 lines instead of 2 and take my sweet sweet time to start firing. Kage can vouch for this, half of [R] and some UN, XA too i think. Of course one man can't speak for the whole faction but, considering the role I'm taking in the 46th starting today, I'll do my best to make that the norm.
Which goes to my final point: Problem is we're using them or problem is we're ONLY using them? If it's we're only using /1/2 (and /3/4 in my case) we can work with ranks to switch them up frequently and make sure every pilot has some kind of personal flair, maybe on the second one. If the problem is the mere existence of said behaviour, I'm sorry to inform that we'll keep using them from time to time as, just like real military, we have Standart Operation Procedures.
We'll greatly appreciate your input on how to improve those, and I personally would like to discuss an arranged RP+pew once the siege is over.
Of course, if you're talking about the siege in Colorado, all bets were off the moment I saw what's going on, on both sides. We'll keep defending as quick as we can, this base will not die.
When it comes to engines
- I spoke to many people, people that guided me etc. And generally the consensus is that engines really are just about the colour.
e.g. Nobody actually enforces laws when it comes to them, there is no tech nerf besides the gallic ones I know people want to get rid of too.
And I know the OFs in Liberty use non-rp engines too.
=> we treat them as mostly oorp, let people customise their ships as it's just a visual change, and hey - surely more purple is better, wouldn't you agree?
Personally I'd like to see more customisation and cosmetics available, more Sci-data engines added etc. So people can make their ships stand out - it's an old game, squinting your eyes and treating engines as oorp so people can do that customisation seems like the right path to me. Needless to say if Auxesia wants to use Liberty engines we will not object either.
And if someone does bring this up in-rp then hey - a nice possibility to roleplay. I dont think I've seen that so far though
I am very grateful for the community's understanding. Disco can be very overwhelming for a newcomer, and actually getting even to the stage of always having those two messages when having to swap between group and local, all the other technical things you worry about and pressure of an upcoming fight takes a lot of reminding.
I won't lie - your post that the guys are at least doing that actually made me happy - and my thanks goes to all the people that go to 46th HC directly instead of reports when our new guys make mistakes so we can keep reminding and guiding them.
In the long run, well - our top brass are now mostly RP first players, we had more roleplay first people join us and I hope they will lead by example and sway others to the view that RP is the new PvP
1) Hellfire Legion doesn't exist anymore;
2) What is the Bretonia Military? I suppose you meant Bretonian Armed Forces;
2.1) Why do you have them allied at all?
3) Nomads and Vagrants are the same thing for common man, there is no need to list them separate.

EDIT: should be in order now, thanks for the feedback ^^
