You're still foreign to the concept of sportsmanship, glad to know. But I'll explain since you asked. Just because someone is good (aka slightly above average in my case) doesn't mean you should drop the entirety of the fleet on that single person. It's happened to me countless times by now and while i do enjoy fighting against bigger odds, it is no fun for any side to go into 1v4s, unlike you have done and still think "the future of disco" must be.
It also doesn't help that most DTR barely drop any lines of engagement. I get that they're newbies, but that isn't an excuse not to even tell them to roleplay before engaging.

And to claim that the most newbie friendly faction on the server is harming and demotivating, or making people quit the game is absolutely hysterical. One look at the OF checks or relevant data will tell you that or even player count and faction activity. I mean the data is visible for people to see.
DTR, a faction that's been raising player activity, drops 10 ships on a lone BS it's not driving that player away.
Correct, it's not. Why? Especially when you talk about Rheinland? Because all players know they will have a good chance to win and get loads of DTR Blues next time.
Trust me, I am drawing blood from a stone in the form of activity in many regions. The people that face DTR the most by far - Rheinland Military because of the amazingly well designed Munich- Xi systems - have the largest willingness to join raids without checking player lists.
In Munich you tell indies to raid even when a lot of enemies are on - sure no problem, let's go, same indies dying around the clock to DTR. Because they know they have a good chance to get kills if not win. It makes the region so damn easy to play. You play Ocs - I mean take the two raids to Alpha - Corsairs with loads of DTR raided, got wiped x2 with almost no kills, I didn't hear them complaining, on the contrary - they sent kudos.
They got feedback that they pile too much on caps Immediately they put themselves at a disadvantage with ships and tech when 9v5 and got wiped and sent kudos

If you scroll up you will see people complaining yesterday that theyall drop lines immediately after seeing an enemy approach them
in other words, they are learning and taking feedback on board very fast.
So what if someone gets to kill them next time? That's not a reason to gang bang a lone battleship. I don't think even you'd do that so stop justifying them.
And Lemon you're just replying what's convenient to you and ignoring the rest. It's pointless to continue.

It's the whole change of how the game is played - you log and play it, the end, that's what DTR stands for, that's what's worth protecting.
And obviously I am no altruist, the reason why I defend them is because their existence makes my work as someone who tries to keep up activity of factions that happen to face them super easy. If factions like DTR were in all regions the job of a leader of less played factions would be 10x easier.
Please. The admins will have an announcement to make soon and this thread is getting too long... If you want to continue fighting move to the DTR feedback thread.
After reviewing your activity and contributions over the past few months, we have decided to offer you officialdom.
Feel free to post an ID & subforum request and we'll get to setting it up.
Congratulations.

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
