Sender: Commandant Emilie-Sophie de Belmont, 27th Royal Regiment Recipient: Colonel Clement de Chevin, 27th Royal Regiment Subject: A tour.
Clement, cher.
Some events occured that you personally can be interested in and I'd like to consult with you on the further course of action. It can benefit the regiment as a whole, too - in the unconventional warfare that we will be fighting, in cargo interdiction - and potentially seek out sympathetic locals. Even if moderately, we're not going to get far on just scavenging.
Anyway, below coming some interesting conversations I had while just getting re-acquainted with the sector.
First are the Her Majesty's intelligence service. Very suave folk who's got to be bearing illusions of maybe playing in their favor. Well, let them, if I didn't shot them once and played on the nostalgia of days long gone and that's enough to sway an average intelligence agent to have such fickle faith... well, let them. At the end, a Zoner came along but the spook called him "An Oracle". Better keep an eye out for that one if it decided to show up again. And if that Caliban is recruiting alied worshippers - he's better shot on sight. Look at how they massacred Orkney!
[25.08.2022 10:45:56] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Looking for something, Bretonian?
[25.08.2022 10:45:57] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Well well.
[25.08.2022 10:46:14] [SIS]-James.Skirka: How very familiar.
[25.08.2022 10:46:20] [SIS]-James.Skirka: A Gallic Royalist.
[25.08.2022 10:46:24] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'll give you a one-time offer, in the memory of good old times.
[25.08.2022 10:46:31] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Oh?
[25.08.2022 10:46:46] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Contribute to our inevitable victory and I'll close my eyes on your presence.
[25.08.2022 10:46:55] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: The contribution of your choosing, even!
[25.08.2022 10:47:00] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: How does that sound?
[25.08.2022 10:47:24] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You're going to have to explain a few things because quite honestly I have no idea what you're talking about.
[25.08.2022 10:47:27] [SIS]-James.Skirka: The war is over.
[25.08.2022 10:47:42] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It's never truly over.
[25.08.2022 10:47:43] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What 'inevitable victory'?
[25.08.2022 10:47:54] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It's just a fancy facade posed by your house of peers.
[25.08.2022 10:47:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Or parliament.
[25.08.2022 10:48:06] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Same thing.
[25.08.2022 10:48:08] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Or whatever you call that bunch of old douchebags, really.
[25.08.2022 10:48:20] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And you are?
[25.08.2022 10:48:35] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It's odd you don't remember me.
[25.08.2022 10:48:45] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Because I certainly remember you.
[25.08.2022 10:48:48] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Oh?
[25.08.2022 10:48:54] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I didn't offend did I?
[25.08.2022 10:49:08] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I wouldn't say you did.
[25.08.2022 10:49:21] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Then please, remind me. I've been away you see.
[25.08.2022 10:49:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But we might've crossed in combat during the 'invasion'.
[25.08.2022 10:49:37] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Ah
[25.08.2022 10:49:41] [SIS]-James.Skirka: That's a shame
[25.08.2022 10:49:45] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: The Battle of New London. I used to be with the Marine Royale, you see.
[25.08.2022 10:49:59] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And here I was hoping for an 'encounter' at the pub.
[25.08.2022 10:50:13] [SIS]-James.Skirka: No such luck eh.
[25.08.2022 10:50:16] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Perhaps, in some other universe we did.
[25.08.2022 10:50:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But not here, for good or bad.
[25.08.2022 10:50:32] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Perhaps in this one we might still, the future is never certain
[25.08.2022 10:50:46] [SIS]-James.Skirka: But something tells me not today.
[25.08.2022 10:50:49] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Perhaps, you never know how the tide turns.
[25.08.2022 10:50:59] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Your name sir?
[25.08.2022 10:51:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I used to tag along with the Rogues for a bit, can you believe this?
[25.08.2022 10:51:07] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Sir, huh.
[25.08.2022 10:51:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: He-he...
[25.08.2022 10:51:13] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Non-non-non.
[25.08.2022 10:51:20] [SIS]-James.Skirka: //uh-oh..
[25.08.2022 10:51:23] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Madame Emilie-Sophie de Belmont.
[25.08.2022 10:51:37] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Ah....
[25.08.2022 10:51:51] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Oh shit.
[25.08.2022 10:51:53] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You
[25.08.2022 10:52:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Memories coming back now, m-m?
[25.08.2022 10:52:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Apologies for my langauge madam but....I thought you died.
[25.08.2022 10:52:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Many thought so, too.
[25.08.2022 10:52:28] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: There's been moments I believed myself dead, too.
[25.08.2022 10:52:33] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What the hell are you doing here?
[25.08.2022 10:52:40] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But you see... I'm quite resourceful.
[25.08.2022 10:52:46] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Apparently.
[25.08.2022 10:52:46] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Oh, me?
[25.08.2022 10:52:53] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Down to the old habits, I suppose.
[25.08.2022 10:53:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What you got bored in your new Republic?
[25.08.2022 10:53:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: "New Republic".
[25.08.2022 10:53:30] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's all bullshit for an unwary eye.
[25.08.2022 10:53:39] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And yes, I was quite damn bored.
[25.08.2022 10:53:58] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Again, I have not kept up with politics, would you be kind enough to fill me in?
[25.08.2022 10:54:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Where's the thrill of the hunt in chasing down half-ass trained terrorists?
[25.08.2022 10:54:06] CONSOLE: Possible cheating detected: DTR-CNS>Montalbano
[25.08.2022 10:54:28] [SIS]-James.Skirka: For an honourable solider such as yourself? None.
[25.08.2022 10:54:38] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Precisely.
[25.08.2022 10:54:45] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Where is the honour if your prey cannot fight back.
[25.08.2022 10:54:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: There isn't any.
[25.08.2022 10:55:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So you've come back here eh?
[25.08.2022 10:55:14] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Bretonia, where it all began and ended.
[25.08.2022 10:55:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And you know what? Many believe the royalists still rule Gallia from shadows.
[25.08.2022 10:55:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Under the guise of that 'Republic'.
[25.08.2022 10:55:31] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What do you believe?
[25.08.2022 10:55:48] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Do I look like I give a slightest damn about politics?
[25.08.2022 10:55:54] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Yes, actually.
[25.08.2022 10:56:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: M-hm.
[25.08.2022 10:56:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Well, listen then.
[25.08.2022 10:56:11] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Listening.
[25.08.2022 10:56:32] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I believe the royalists still have quite some influence in the house. I'm sure you're familiar with the Duchy of Burgundy.
[25.08.2022 10:56:41] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I am.
[25.08.2022 10:56:45] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Now merged with the rest of splinters.
[25.08.2022 10:57:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But it's my belief they're retaining a good share of their influence still.
[25.08.2022 10:57:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Hardline conservators true to *some* ideas of Charles.
[25.08.2022 10:57:28] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Maybe bar the genocidal war...
[25.08.2022 10:57:54] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I tried hunting down De Chanteloup herself, you knew?
[25.08.2022 10:57:55] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And you side with them? Or agree with them?
[25.08.2022 10:58:01] [SIS]-James.Skirka: How'd that go?
[25.08.2022 10:58:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Unsuccessful. Bitch vanished before I got my hands on her.
[25.08.2022 10:58:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But I suppose she's dead either way.
[25.08.2022 10:58:28] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Just regret it wasn't me who choked her.
[25.08.2022 10:58:42] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Maybe
[25.08.2022 10:58:52] [SIS]-James.Skirka: But I think you've done enough killing to last a lifetime.
[25.08.2022 10:59:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's where you're not wrong.
[25.08.2022 10:59:21] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So why are you here?
[25.08.2022 10:59:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: See what Bretonia's got to offer.
[25.08.2022 10:59:59] [SIS]-James.Skirka: In terms of....what exactly?
[25.08.2022 11:00:00] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: After all, you've earned yourselves quite the reputation during the war.
[25.08.2022 11:00:11] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Enduring against all odds.
[25.08.2022 11:00:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Fighting to the bitter end.
[25.08.2022 11:00:22] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And overcoming it all.
[25.08.2022 11:00:25] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Would you not do the same?
[25.08.2022 11:00:31] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Have you not already?
[25.08.2022 11:00:42] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: When it comes to my home? I'd absolutely would.
[25.08.2022 11:00:54] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Then we are not so different
[25.08.2022 11:00:55] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's part of why I'm wearing the colors you see.
[25.08.2022 11:01:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Challenge. Some real competition.
[25.08.2022 11:01:15] [SIS]-James.Skirka: The colours of a dead king and an idea long forgotten that fought a war that is over.
[25.08.2022 11:01:32] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That might be true.
[25.08.2022 11:01:39] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Many things you were, foolish was never one of them
[25.08.2022 11:01:48] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You're not here looking to 'challenge' anyone
[25.08.2022 11:01:53] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You're trying to find something
[25.08.2022 11:02:11] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Would you happen to know what it is I'm seeking?
[25.08.2022 11:02:57] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Yourself. Or at least the part of you that was around when you first started fighting
[25.08.2022 11:02:59] Israfel-Alep: Oh, hello, gents
[25.08.2022 11:03:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Son of a bitch...
[25.08.2022 11:03:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: The Oracle.
[25.08.2022 11:03:18] Israfel-Alep: Me, myself and my person.
[25.08.2022 11:03:18] [SIS]-James.Skirka: There is a price on your head
[25.08.2022 11:03:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: The Oracle? The hell's that?
[25.08.2022 11:03:21] Israfel-Alep: Price?
[25.08.2022 11:03:28] Israfel-Alep: Who's paying?
[25.08.2022 11:03:32] [SIS]-James.Skirka: A nomad worshiper apparently.
[25.08.2022 11:03:34] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Steiner.
[25.08.2022 11:03:39] Israfel-Alep: Huuuh?
[25.08.2022 11:03:47] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Those fuckin' aliens, huh?
[25.08.2022 11:03:52] Israfel-Alep: That's a fast zero to hundred,
[25.08.2022 11:03:56] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: How insane one's gotta be to worship that?
[25.08.2022 11:03:59] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You were spotted at a certain area that you really shouldn't have been in.
[25.08.2022 11:04:08] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Well, Skirka.
[25.08.2022 11:04:12] Israfel-Alep: Hmm.
[25.08.2022 11:04:15] [SIS]-James.Skirka: My Lady?
[25.08.2022 11:04:19] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Am I wrong?
[25.08.2022 11:04:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: In a spirit of being old acquaintances...
[25.08.2022 11:04:29] Israfel-Alep: And he didn't bother sending a message, what a shame indeed.
[25.08.2022 11:04:30] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'll let you pursue this one at your heart's content.
[25.08.2022 11:04:38] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I have a proposal my lady
[25.08.2022 11:04:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That is?
[25.08.2022 11:05:07] Tip: Many commands have an alternate short form for ease of use, e.g. /gc can be used instead of /givecash. Check /help for the complete list.
[25.08.2022 11:05:16] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Inside Leeds you will find a poor excuse for a station that is essentially a freeport. If you would like to become reaquainted
[25.08.2022 11:05:19] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Meet me there.
[25.08.2022 11:05:29] Israfel-Alep: I'm pretty sure I told him I was a 'former' Oracle. Hmm.
[25.08.2022 11:05:29] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'll think about it.
[25.08.2022 11:05:41] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But odds are high I'd be there.
[25.08.2022 11:05:50] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I look forward to it.
[25.08.2022 11:05:59] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'm quite curious to get... re-acquainted with the local ongoings. Haven't been around for long.
[25.08.2022 11:06:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: What was it... three years now?
[25.08.2022 11:06:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Yeah.
[25.08.2022 11:06:14] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Something like that.
[25.08.2022 11:06:18] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Time flies.
[25.08.2022 11:06:24] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Yet
[25.08.2022 11:06:37] [SIS]-James.Skirka: It is not as enjoyable as it would have been in your company.
[25.08.2022 11:06:51] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Aw-w. You're flattering me.
[25.08.2022 11:06:56] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I try my best
[25.08.2022 11:07:07] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's one thing I like about Bretonians.
[25.08.2022 11:07:12] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Gentelmen, always.
[25.08.2022 11:07:17] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Even with a sworn enemy.
[25.08.2022 11:07:26] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Welcome to the SIS
[25.08.2022 11:07:29] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Now Oracle.
[25.08.2022 11:07:35] Israfel-Alep: I'm still here.
[25.08.2022 11:07:38] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Come here
[25.08.2022 11:07:43] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Stop lingering
[25.08.2022 11:07:56] Israfel-Alep: Well, as you wish.
[25.08.2022 11:08:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I have questions.
[25.08.2022 11:08:11] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And you have answers.
[25.08.2022 11:08:12] Israfel-Alep: Sure.
[25.08.2022 11:08:25] Israfel-Alep: Well, then?
[25.08.2022 11:08:34] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What the bloody hell possessed you to come to Bretonia?
[25.08.2022 11:09:10] Israfel-Alep: I literally own a capsule hotel on Carlisle. Business affairs.
[25.08.2022 11:09:23] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Yeah right...And Caliban?
[25.08.2022 11:09:27] Israfel-Alep: what
[25.08.2022 11:09:39] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Don't play coy, he's already dobbed you in.
[25.08.2022 11:09:44] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Caliban? Sounds like a stupid alias.
[25.08.2022 11:09:54] Israfel-Alep: D- don't tell me my paranoia was right
[25.08.2022 11:10:02] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What paranoia?
[25.08.2022 11:10:13] Israfel-Alep: I had no fucking proof it was him
[25.08.2022 11:10:21] Israfel-Alep: Aaah, alright
[25.08.2022 11:10:21] [SIS]-James.Skirka: WHO MAN?!
[25.08.2022 11:10:24] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Spit it out!
[25.08.2022 11:10:48] Israfel-Alep: The man who met me in Newcastle. What name did he pick as alias?.. Let me chack.
[25.08.2022 11:11:15] [SIS]-James.Skirka: *sigh* And this was turning into such a problem free patrol....
[25.08.2022 11:11:24] Israfel-Alep: Dexter Wright?
[25.08.2022 11:11:41] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So what do you know?
[25.08.2022 11:11:56] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'm not trying to murder you, so I'm definitely *not* a problem, alright?...
[25.08.2022 11:12:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You are a pleasure
[25.08.2022 11:12:32] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And you sound a bit like a cupid. That's almost adorable.
[25.08.2022 11:12:38] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I try
[25.08.2022 11:12:42] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Anyhow.
[25.08.2022 11:12:46] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Alep.
[25.08.2022 11:12:48] Israfel-Alep: Where do I even begin to not compromise the entire thing?
[25.08.2022 11:12:57] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Let me put it this way
[25.08.2022 11:13:13] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You either tell me, or I split your mind open back at headquaters.
[25.08.2022 11:13:13] Israfel-Alep: Mhm?
[25.08.2022 11:13:20] Israfel-Alep: Oh, you're no fun.
[25.08.2022 11:13:30] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I can be
[25.08.2022 11:13:35] [SIS]-James.Skirka: But not when Nomads are involved.
[25.08.2022 11:14:27] Israfel-Alep: Listen, do you mind if I tell you confidentially?
[25.08.2022 11:14:38] Israfel-Alep: This is no casual talk, after all.
[25.08.2022 11:14:49] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Sure.
[25.08.2022 11:15:30] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Look, I'm totally trustworthy and good at keeping secrets.
[25.08.2022 11:16:25] CONSOLE: Possible cheating detected: Sombra_del_Tigre
[25.08.2022 11:16:30] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I think this is for your own safety love.
[25.08.2022 11:17:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: You should know best I can handle myself.
[25.08.2022 11:17:34] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You should know that I would rather you didn't have to.
[25.08.2022 11:18:34] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Fine. I'll play along this time.
[25.08.2022 11:20:39] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Eh. I suppose I'll leave you two to your own devices.
[25.08.2022 11:20:45] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Were done
[25.08.2022 11:20:51] Israfel-Alep: See you, ma'am
[25.08.2022 11:21:06] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Au Revoir.
From there I moved on to another lengthy conversation, but frankly? It's less important and I was way more silent.
[25.08.2022 11:29:43] Nenet.Mido: Twenty... seventh? So there were 26 others before?
[25.08.2022 11:29:51] Nenet.Mido: You'd think they downsized units after a while.
[25.08.2022 11:29:58] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I see you're at least half-decent at maths.
[25.08.2022 11:30:10] Nenet.Mido: I needed to use my toes to calculate that.
[25.08.2022 11:30:13] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Impressive... for a pirate.
[25.08.2022 11:30:39] Nenet.Mido: Don't think you are in a much better spot either.
[25.08.2022 11:30:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Well, that's not wrong as an assesement.
[25.08.2022 11:31:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But from my perspective I'm in a perfectly fine spot.
[25.08.2022 11:31:18] Nenet.Mido: I technically fucked my own life over, you probably had something to do with it, but not as much.
[25.08.2022 11:31:45] Nenet.Mido: As in your goverment collapsing or whatever else you lot did up there.
[25.08.2022 11:32:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: You know a regular soldier like me had little say in it.
[25.08.2022 11:32:17] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: If any at all.
[25.08.2022 11:32:31] A $50.000 credit bounty has been added to your reward pool.
[25.08.2022 11:32:37] Nenet.Mido: You were probably given a chance to pick a side.
[25.08.2022 11:32:41] Nenet.Mido: Guess it was a 50/50 then.
[25.08.2022 11:32:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: My side's where it's more entertaining.
[25.08.2022 11:33:14] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And besides...
[25.08.2022 11:33:25] Nenet.Mido: Probably the least comedic part of space.
[25.08.2022 11:33:25] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Someone like me wouldn't fit in the Republic anyway.
[25.08.2022 11:33:49] Nenet.Mido: You are next to the Bretonians after all. If you wanted worse jokes, you'd have to go to Rheinland.
[25.08.2022 11:33:52] A $90.000 credit bounty has been added to your reward pool.
[25.08.2022 11:33:59] Nenet.Mido: As far as I know, your houses are sort of connected so.
[25.08.2022 11:34:11] Nenet.Mido: Smack dab in the middle of the least entertaining part of space.

[25.08.2022 11:34:51] Nenet.Mido: I bet your higher ups said the same thing before pressing the big red button on Leeds.
[25.08.2022 11:35:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I tried to kill my higher-up for Leeds.
[25.08.2022 11:35:32] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But she died before I did.
[25.08.2022 11:35:53] Nenet.Mido: That didn't get you much farther from what I can see.
[25.08.2022 11:36:04] Nenet.Mido: Doubt many will miss the planet itself though.
[25.08.2022 11:36:27] Nenet.Mido: The shareholders were likely weeping for the planet itself.
[25.08.2022 11:36:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I visited planetside sometimes...
[25.08.2022 11:36:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...frankly, there are better places to be.
[25.08.2022 11:36:57] Nenet.Mido: I bet it was just like Pittsburg.
[25.08.2022 11:37:17] Nenet.Mido: Smoke so thick you could cut through it with a pair of shears.
[25.08.2022 11:37:29] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Never been to Pittsburgh. Sounds like some Libertonian name.
[25.08.2022 11:37:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But the smog was present, yes.
[25.08.2022 11:37:55] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: In some areas you could barely breathe without some sort of air filters.
[25.08.2022 11:38:00] Nenet.Mido: Think of Leeds and add cornsyrup and forced labour.
[25.08.2022 11:38:39] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's an interesting comparison.
[25.08.2022 11:39:12] Nenet.Mido: I don't think they are all that different, though I've only been on Pitts' like... two times.
[25.08.2022 11:39:32] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But I guess there's a good degree of common sense about it. Especially since you've been there.
[25.08.2022 11:39:37] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And on Leeds too, I suppose.
[25.08.2022 11:39:55] Nenet.Mido: I've just heard of Leeds for the most part; seen images and so on.
[25.08.2022 11:40:22] Nenet.Mido: Never seemed like the tourist destination to me.
[25.08.2022 11:40:51] Nenet.Mido: But enough about that; whatcha looking for out here?
[25.08.2022 11:40:51] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Unless you're some industrial tourist and have proper personal protection equipment.
[25.08.2022 11:41:26] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I've just recently came back here, you see. So I'm just looking around, learning how things are.
[25.08.2022 11:41:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Been absent for three years, you see.
[25.08.2022 11:42:03] Nenet.Mido: I've only heard of this system from the news. So far it seems accurate enough.
[25.08.2022 11:42:37] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Just don't land on Gaia and be careful of Gaians.
[25.08.2022 11:42:44] Nenet.Mido: Planet stripped clean of people by a human eating bacteria? Check. Remnants of the war? Check, and in person.
[25.08.2022 11:43:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Hah. I'm a remnant of war alright. Not just the wreck.
[25.08.2022 11:44:02] Nenet.Mido: You'd probably be better off disappearing somewhere.
[25.08.2022 11:44:32] Nenet.Mido: You'll just get locked up by whomever passes through here.
[25.08.2022 11:44:41] Nenet.Mido: I think you lot pissed off just about anyone that can fly a ship.
[25.08.2022 11:44:49] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Heh. Your concern's adorable but I'll be alright.
[25.08.2022 11:45:04] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Besides, I didn't go insane like the rest.
[25.08.2022 11:45:15] Nenet.Mido: You still fly their colors.
[25.08.2022 11:45:33] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Because I want to. I flew Rogues colors for a while too.
[25.08.2022 11:45:51] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Why? I got along well with their gang leader back then.
[25.08.2022 11:45:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And he paid me for what I do best.
[25.08.2022 11:46:08] Nenet.Mido: That's a fair bit further out from here.
[25.08.2022 11:46:42] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I had to lay low and they had good conditions.
[25.08.2022 11:46:52] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Well... acceptable, at least.
[25.08.2022 11:46:55] Nenet.Mido: Definitely not.
[25.08.2022 11:47:11] Nenet.Mido: I've been to their bases, it is far from good.
[25.08.2022 11:47:55] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Still better than meeting the tide of allied onslaught.
[25.08.2022 11:48:25] Nenet.Mido: Suppose so. At least some groups won't outright shoot at you.
[25.08.2022 11:48:40] Nenet.Mido: They'll at least try three to four sentences before doing it.
[25.08.2022 11:48:48] Nenet.Mido: That includes other rogues, from what I've seen.
[25.08.2022 11:49:11] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: On those groups that'll use three to four sentences I'll fire sooner.
[25.08.2022 11:49:24] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But, you know... personally for me it's not that terrible of a place to be.
[25.08.2022 11:49:39] Nenet.Mido: Thinking about going back?
[25.08.2022 11:49:58] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: "Back" is a very... broad term for me.
[25.08.2022 11:50:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Back to Republic, or Confederacy, or whatever they call themselves? Absolutely not.
[25.08.2022 11:50:32] Nenet.Mido: That, or the Rogues and whoever else.
[25.08.2022 11:50:41] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: To the Rogues?... Likely not, too. I only enjoyed the ideas of that one boss and he's kind of... gone.
[25.08.2022 11:50:46] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Haven't heard from him for a while.
[25.08.2022 11:50:52] Nenet.Mido: Reckon you'd be put on trial if you went anywhere near the Confederepublicacy.
[25.08.2022 11:51:14] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: You bet.
[25.08.2022 11:51:28] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: They'd have to try quite hard to get there, though.
[25.08.2022 11:51:55] Nenet.Mido: Same for the Corse. Though if I recall correctly, they prefer giving concrete boots to people instead.
[25.08.2022 11:52:14] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Corse is just as nasty as a local space gang.
[25.08.2022 11:52:25] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Nothing alike to professional and well-drilled military.
[25.08.2022 11:52:29] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Just an annoyance.
[25.08.2022 11:52:53] Nenet.Mido: I got a ship through them some time ago.
[25.08.2022 11:53:09] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Then again, the only influx of veterans Confederal military ever got was the Enclave fugitives.
[25.08.2022 11:53:10] Nenet.Mido: By through, I mean vaguely visiting a station and getting in contact with the local thugs.
[25.08.2022 11:53:31] Nenet.Mido: Must be a hell of a party up there.
[25.08.2022 11:53:54] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Must be. Haven't been there in a while.
[25.08.2022 11:54:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But I plan on going on a tour, too.
[25.08.2022 11:54:05] Nenet.Mido: Is it on your list-
[25.08.2022 11:54:10] Nenet.Mido: Guess that's a yes.
[25.08.2022 11:54:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: You guessed it right.
[25.08.2022 11:54:43] Nenet.Mido: Could have sworn I've seen something on the radar for a couple of minutes.
[25.08.2022 11:54:52] Nenet.Mido: Bingo.
[25.08.2022 11:54:53] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: You did. And I did, too.
[25.08.2022 11:55:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And now there's EM emissions.
[25.08.2022 11:55:06] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: James, James, James...
[25.08.2022 11:55:09] Nenet.Mido: You can come out and spare me the misery of having to listen to these fucking beeps.
[25.08.2022 11:55:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...eavesdropping is impolite.
[25.08.2022 11:55:28] [SIS]-James.Skirka: You cannot blame me for trying my dear.
[25.08.2022 11:55:35] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I won't.
[25.08.2022 11:55:54] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Nothing interesting going on here anyway.
[25.08.2022 11:56:00] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And yet another wanderer, my my Edinburgh is busy today.
[25.08.2022 11:56:13] [SIS]-James.Skirka: How goes the day stranger?
[25.08.2022 11:56:28] Nenet.Mido: I'm afraid I didn't buy a tourism license or any sort.
[25.08.2022 11:56:38] [SIS]-James.Skirka: None required.
[25.08.2022 11:56:41] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: You don't need a license to go on a tour.
[25.08.2022 11:56:49] Nenet.Mido: My other excuse was leaving it on Gaia.
[25.08.2022 11:57:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...good one.
[25.08.2022 11:57:03] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Apparently Gaia is no longer inhabited
[25.08.2022 11:57:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What happened?
[25.08.2022 11:57:08] Nenet.Mido: Not that I ever visited the place, but that shouldn't be a concern.
[25.08.2022 11:57:17] Nenet.Mido: Aren't you the agent?
[25.08.2022 11:57:29] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Gaians went haywire and deployed some organic-devouring bacteria.
[25.08.2022 11:57:38] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Recently returned from...over the hills.
[25.08.2022 11:57:44] [SIS]-James.Skirka: The what, the Gaians?!
[25.08.2022 11:57:45] Nenet.Mido: Only eats humans from what I know.
[25.08.2022 11:57:53] Nenet.Mido: Sheesh.
[25.08.2022 11:58:02] Nenet.Mido: How did they even let you back in?
[25.08.2022 11:58:06] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I heard about eating... well, flesh in general.
[25.08.2022 11:58:09] Nenet.Mido: It was all the news for a long while.
[25.08.2022 11:58:27] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Rheinland does not care about Bretonian news
[25.08.2022 11:58:45] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I wonder what possessed them to do that.
[25.08.2022 11:58:51] Nenet.Mido: A planet becoming uninhabitable is a big enough news.
[25.08.2022 11:59:12] [SIS]-James.Skirka: It's Bretonia, planets are rendered uninhabitable every other week.
[25.08.2022 11:59:25] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: "We can't save it, so let's destroy it's ecosystem instead!"
[25.08.2022 11:59:28] Nenet.Mido: Yeah, fish and chips tend to do that.
[25.08.2022 11:59:34] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Something among those lines.
[25.08.2022 11:59:48] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So, the Gaians finally lost the plot
[25.08.2022 12:00:00] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Well it was always going to happen, them mushrooms and all.
[25.08.2022 12:00:06] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Lost their minds, rather.
[25.08.2022 12:00:15] Nenet.Mido: I think they employed a little more precision than that.
[25.08.2022 12:00:29] Nenet.Mido: But, I'm not a biologist, nor do I know much about flora and fauna.
[25.08.2022 12:00:33] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Did they make an announcment?
[25.08.2022 12:00:47] Nenet.Mido: If you go far back enough in the news, probably.
[25.08.2022 12:00:56] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I'll check.
[25.08.2022 12:01:12] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Although I dare say the BBC has declined in their standards.
[25.08.2022 12:01:17] Nenet.Mido: Just harass one flying around, should be good enough.
[25.08.2022 12:01:34] Nenet.Mido: Yeah, those battlecruisers don't shoot like they used to.
[25.08.2022 12:01:38] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Just like any mass media degrades over time.
[25.08.2022 12:01:48] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Why harrass when you can get someone else to do it for you?
[25.08.2022 12:02:00] Nenet.Mido: Same thing.
[25.08.2022 12:02:06] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Like that Zoner?
[25.08.2022 12:02:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: *Laughs* I suppose it is.
[25.08.2022 12:02:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: His bucket seems good enough for harassment.
[25.08.2022 12:02:25] [SIS]-James.Skirka: He....won't be a problem for a while.
[25.08.2022 12:02:41] Nenet.Mido: Did you go on bullying the local Zoners?
[25.08.2022 12:02:50] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Not usually
[25.08.2022 12:02:57] Nenet.Mido: On this particular instance.
[25.08.2022 12:02:59] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: This is an exceptional case.
[25.08.2022 12:03:09] Nenet.Mido: I don't care about your history involving untamed Zoners.
[25.08.2022 12:03:22] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Not to seem rude
[25.08.2022 12:03:28] [SIS]-James.Skirka: But I didn't catch your name sir./
[25.08.2022 12:03:31] Nenet.Mido: Too late, you came here cloaked.
[25.08.2022 12:03:37] Nenet.Mido: That's as rude as it gets.
[25.08.2022 12:03:48] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Hm, perhaps you are right.
[25.08.2022 12:03:59] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Oh, come on. We've both *seen* him coming.
[25.08.2022 12:03:59] Nenet.Mido: At least by my standards.
[25.08.2022 12:04:14] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: James, dear, next time - lower your eyes to the radar before you cloak.
[25.08.2022 12:04:17] Nenet.Mido: Doesn't matter, I'm still going to guilt trip him.
[25.08.2022 12:04:30] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I don't feel guilty though
[25.08.2022 12:04:45] Nenet.Mido: Same thing you said in court for harassing Zoners.
[25.08.2022 12:04:46] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I did as anyone would do in a place considered....unfriendly
[25.08.2022 12:04:46] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That nebula provides about ten clicks detection range with standart-grade scanners.
[25.08.2022 12:05:18] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I get the feeling that this...person, I don't know his name, does not like Bretonia all that much.
[25.08.2022 12:05:48] Nenet.Mido: Nenet. And I don't happen to be the a sir.
[25.08.2022 12:05:55] Nenet.Mido: But I'm fairly certain it's displayed.
[25.08.2022 12:05:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I believe they hate me more. Or Royalists in general.
[25.08.2022 12:06:12] Nenet.Mido: I honestly don't care about either all that much.
[25.08.2022 12:06:44] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And yet here I am not hating either of you.
[25.08.2022 12:06:56] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Right.
[25.08.2022 12:07:08] Nenet.Mido: Wouldn't be wise in contested waters.
[25.08.2022 12:07:17] [SIS]-James.Skirka: No, that's what I thought
[25.08.2022 12:07:23] [SIS]-James.Skirka: But in this case, it also happens to be true.
[25.08.2022 12:07:26] Nenet.Mido: A Gaian would show up to chain you to a tree or something along those lines.
[25.08.2022 12:07:31] [SIS]-James.Skirka: HA
[25.08.2022 12:07:50] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Gaians are many things, but frightening is not something that comes to mind.
[25.08.2022 12:07:58] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Besides...
[25.08.2022 12:08:08] Nenet.Mido: Recent ones sound fanatical enough.
[25.08.2022 12:08:09] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...did you, in clear state of mind, see trees flying in space?
[25.08.2022 12:08:32] Nenet.Mido: That's up for them to bring one.
[25.08.2022 12:08:37] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I only did once.
[25.08.2022 12:08:44] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A tree in a pot, orbiting a sun.
[25.08.2022 12:08:52] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Can't think where.
[25.08.2022 12:09:14] Nenet.Mido: I've seen such a few times, but those were biodome failures in most cases.
[25.08.2022 12:09:40] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: My case couldn't be explained with a biodome. It was a living tree, which is practically impossible.
[25.08.2022 12:10:01] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Well it couldn't have been Leeds.
[25.08.2022 12:10:04] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And as I checked, there's been no biodomes in vicinity either.
[25.08.2022 12:10:23] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Non, that was further north in the Taus...
[25.08.2022 12:10:32] Nenet.Mido: Weird.
[25.08.2022 12:11:31] Nenet.Mido: I've seen some left in Synthfoods containers.
[25.08.2022 12:11:43] Nenet.Mido: Thus, they were probably faaar away from a tree, and closer to paste.
[25.08.2022 12:11:44] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Well ladies, it has been a pleasure. But I'm afraid I must be moving on.
[25.08.2022 12:12:02] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Lady Mido, Lady Belmont.
[25.08.2022 12:12:19] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A busy agent must always remain on the move.
[25.08.2022 12:12:20] Nenet.Mido: Don't forget your parking break.
[25.08.2022 12:12:24] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Au Revoir, James.
[25.08.2022 12:12:29] Nenet.Mido: Later.
[25.08.2022 12:12:34] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I'll be in touch.
[25.08.2022 12:12:45] Nenet.Mido: I'll get a restraining order.
[25.08.2022 12:13:00] Nenet.Mido: Is that even a thing?
[25.08.2022 12:13:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'm not keeping up to date with Bretonian law.
[25.08.2022 12:13:23] Nenet.Mido: Me neither.
[25.08.2022 12:13:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And in our case... it's more often a bullet in the head.
[25.08.2022 12:13:37] Nenet.Mido: Not keeping up with any particular law to begin with.
[25.08.2022 12:13:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Figuratively speaking.
[25.08.2022 12:13:51] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Well, would be odd with your colors to care.
[25.08.2022 12:14:10] Nenet.Mido: Sometimes its useful.
[25.08.2022 12:14:17] Nenet.Mido: Can't think of a particular occasion though.
[25.08.2022 12:14:34] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Then it's a very minor percentage of useful occassions.
[25.08.2022 12:14:40] Nenet.Mido: Not ever since I shot up the police.
[25.08.2022 12:14:48] ... something else is coming close.
[25.08.2022 12:14:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...something else in scanner range.
[25.08.2022 12:15:08] "Beep": Hello!
[25.08.2022 12:15:13] Nenet.Mido: Hi.
[25.08.2022 12:15:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Bonjour.
[25.08.2022 12:15:33] "Beep": Beep is not able to see you. Beep assumes you are in the nebula?
[25.08.2022 12:16:03] Nenet.Mido: You'd be correct in the assumption, Beep.
[25.08.2022 12:16:08] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Why are you referring to yourself in third person?
[25.08.2022 12:16:28] "Beep": Beep does this to make people understand that Beep is a robot!
[25.08.2022 12:16:34] Nenet.Mido: That's your first question from someone with the callsign, "Beep"?
[25.08.2022 12:16:53] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...yeah, that makes sense.
[25.08.2022 12:17:01] "Beep": Is Beep interrupting? Beep can move on, if Beep is required to move on.
[25.08.2022 12:17:12] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: The day's getting more interesting by the hours...
[25.08.2022 12:17:16] Nenet.Mido: Don't think there's much to interrupt.
[25.08.2022 12:17:19] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Interrupting? No. Not really.
[25.08.2022 12:17:41] Nenet.Mido: You missed out on an extremely sneaky Bretonian.
[25.08.2022 12:17:59] "Beep": Beep did? Beep is quite happy to not have met any Bretonians.
[25.08.2022 12:18:11] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Got a story with them?
[25.08.2022 12:18:20] Nenet.Mido: Like camo painting on a Barge. Sneakiest Bret' this side of the house.
[25.08.2022 12:18:25] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Or... got history rather?
[25.08.2022 12:18:30] "Beep": Beep is a product of Technocracy of Auxo. Beep would likely get shot on sight.
[25.08.2022 12:18:48] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A Technocrat robot now, hm.
[25.08.2022 12:19:07] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A bit far from home, no?
[25.08.2022 12:19:23] "Beep": That is Beep's purpose! Beep is an explorer!
[25.08.2022 12:19:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: So you're just a recon drone.
[25.08.2022 12:19:53] Nenet.Mido: A technocrat robot.
[25.08.2022 12:19:53] "Beep": Beep is a Benevolent Engineered Excess Product. As such, Beep can go where it is dangerous without being a critical resource.
[25.08.2022 12:20:06] Nenet.Mido: Guess you can tell Revenant I said 'Hi!'.
[25.08.2022 12:20:12] Nenet.Mido: At least I don't have to send a message.
[25.08.2022 12:20:22] "Beep": Beep will relay this if Beep encounters Just Revenant.
[25.08.2022 12:20:39] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Guess you could pass on the same from me.
[25.08.2022 12:20:45] Nenet.Mido: Just Revenant?
[25.08.2022 12:20:47] "Beep": Beep will do this!
[25.08.2022 12:20:50] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Except we're not really on good terms.
[25.08.2022 12:20:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: So I'm not sure she'll be happy.
[25.08.2022 12:21:03] Nenet.Mido: You can still say hi to just about anyone.
[25.08.2022 12:21:20] "Beep": That is okay. Beep will relay "Hi!" from both De Belmont and Nenet Mido.
[25.08.2022 12:21:56] "Beep": Beep assumes De Belmont and Nenet Mido are not Bretonian or affiliated with Bretonia?
[25.08.2022 12:22:06] Nenet.Mido: Nope.
[25.08.2022 12:22:16] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: *De Belmont audibly laughs.*
[25.08.2022 12:22:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: No. There's no way I'd be.
[25.08.2022 12:22:44] "Beep": Beep is pleased to hear this, as Beep assumes this is good for Beep not getting shot on sight.
[25.08.2022 12:23:05] Nenet.Mido: We probably would have chased you if we wanted to.
[25.08.2022 12:23:15] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Got to give me a good reason to shoot you down.
[25.08.2022 12:23:21] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A really good reason.
[25.08.2022 12:23:42] Nenet.Mido: I'm a bit too fuel efficient to do any of that.
[25.08.2022 12:23:49] "Beep": Beep tries to not give reasons to do so. Beep prefers to keep Beep's reconstruction cost as low as possible.
[25.08.2022 12:24:41] "Beep": Beep wonders, do Nenet Mido and De Belmont live in this region?
[25.08.2022 12:25:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Let's say - I've recently moved back in.
[25.08.2022 12:25:19] Nenet.Mido: I came from Liberty, and I currently don't live anywhere save for the cargo bay of my Dromedary.
[25.08.2022 12:25:27] Nenet.Mido: So that's a no, I'm not local.
[25.08.2022 12:25:39] "Beep": Beep understands.
[25.08.2022 12:26:04] "Beep": Beep was wondering why Nenet Mido and De Belmont are in this Ice Cloud.
[25.08.2022 12:26:24] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'm on a tour. Think of it as of a tour stop.
[25.08.2022 12:26:26] Nenet.Mido: I wanted to check for a place in here.
[25.08.2022 12:27:00] "Beep": Beep understands. The Edinburgh system seems like a good place to exist in without drawing much attention.
[25.08.2022 12:27:19] "Beep": Beep has seen a lot of combat happening here, however not in this part of the system.
[25.08.2022 12:27:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It would be if not the Gaians.
[25.08.2022 12:28:01] Nenet.Mido: This cloud is far away enough.
[25.08.2022 12:28:26] "Beep": Beep wonders, where does the name Nenet Mido originate from?
[25.08.2022 12:28:51] Nenet.Mido: Oh, I never bothered to ask about it.
[25.08.2022 12:29:13] "Beep": Beep understands. Beep likes the name Nenet Mido.
[25.08.2022 12:29:20] Nenet.Mido: Both of my parents were Zoners doing zoner things. They probably have a complicated enough history.
[25.08.2022 12:29:45] "Beep": Beep understands!
[25.08.2022 12:29:45] Nenet.Mido: But yeah, not something you'd hear in Liberty.
[25.08.2022 12:30:00] "Beep": Beep agrees! Beep would have guessed Kusari.
[25.08.2022 12:30:08] "Beep": But Beep would have been wrong. Silly Beep!
[25.08.2022 12:30:41] Nenet.Mido: Might even be made up, never bothered to go after the meaning of my name.
[25.08.2022 12:30:54] "Beep": Beep understands!
[25.08.2022 12:31:04] "Beep": Beep assumes De Belmont is from Gallia?
[25.08.2022 12:31:19] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's correct.
[25.08.2022 12:31:43] Nenet.Mido: Did the ship gave it away, the IFF, the guns, or any other of the hundred of factors?
[25.08.2022 12:32:18] "Beep": Beep guessed so by looking at all these factors. However, Beep just learned that Beep should always ask.
[25.08.2022 12:32:25] "Beep": Just to avoid misunderstandings.
[25.08.2022 12:32:40] "Beep": Beep assumes De Belmont made the "Sneaky Bretonian" leave?
[25.08.2022 12:33:07] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: He left on his own.
[25.08.2022 12:33:26] Nenet.Mido: We probably weren't good enough of a conversation for him.
[25.08.2022 12:33:50] "Beep": Maybe De Belmont and Nenet Mido had too much of an intimidating presence about them!
[25.08.2022 12:33:51] Nenet.Mido: Even though the three of us in that nebula sounded like the start of a cheesy joke.
[25.08.2022 12:34:20] "Beep": Beep does not understand. Why would the joke be based on cheese?
[25.08.2022 12:34:22] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Nenet, I believe you've caught the wind already, but he's affiliated with an intelligene agancy.
[25.08.2022 12:34:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: The spooks are always omnious like this.
[25.08.2022 12:34:40] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Doing their own thing.
[25.08.2022 12:34:49] Nenet.Mido: Not cheese in a literal sense.
[25.08.2022 12:35:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Cheesy as in... odd.
[25.08.2022 12:35:10] Nenet.Mido: An Agent, a Royalist, and a Pirate flies into a nebula.
[25.08.2022 12:35:17] "Beep": Oh. Beep understands. Ashikaga Tsudzuri explained metaphors to Beep so Beep would make conversations less awkward.
[25.08.2022 12:35:28] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Once in a nebula, a Pirate, a Royalist and a Spook had a chat...
[25.08.2022 12:35:29] Nenet.Mido: Add some stereotypes, and you got a joke nobody would want to hear.
[25.08.2022 12:35:56] "Beep": Beep assumes De Belmont and Nenet Mido are friends?
[25.08.2022 12:36:09] Nenet.Mido: We've met about an hour ago.
[25.08.2022 12:37:00] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I don't think Nenet's that naive to regard me a "friend" after that little time.
[25.08.2022 12:37:01] "Beep": Beep understands. This may or may not be enough time spent together peacefully to not be officially considered "friends" yet.
[25.08.2022 12:37:16] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: There's just...
[25.08.2022 12:37:22] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...no "official" measurements.
[25.08.2022 12:37:28] Death: Hellfire suffered a self-administered loadout error (Missile/Torpedo).
[25.08.2022 12:37:40] Nenet.Mido: I mean.
[25.08.2022 12:37:43] "Beep": However, Beep acknowledges that Nenet Mido and De Belmont have not shot each other yet. Beep considers this a good basis.
[25.08.2022 12:38:21] Nenet.Mido: Well, I am considered a Pirate. Somewhere along the lines I should have trust issues.
[25.08.2022 12:38:45] "Beep": Beep understands. But Beep wishes not to judge entities based on their IFF readings.
[25.08.2022 12:38:57] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Aaand... we're not much different from pirates, except maybe better equipment, and even that's debatable.
[25.08.2022 12:39:15] "Beep": Likewise, Beep appreciates it when Beep is treated like an entity, not like a Technocracy of Auxo asset.
[25.08.2022 12:39:22] Nenet.Mido: Depends on what you pull out from your hat.
[25.08.2022 12:39:42] Nenet.Mido: Might be a ship, might be a piece of garbage tied together by 4 strings and some chicken wire.
[25.08.2022 12:39:42] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Most of the times it's a gun.
[25.08.2022 12:40:01] "Beep": Beep assumes chicken wire to be a metaphor.
[25.08.2022 12:40:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A fine set of guns mounted on a fine piece of Gallic engineering.
[25.08.2022 12:40:09] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Even if a bit aged.
[25.08.2022 12:40:28] Nenet.Mido: Sort of. Think of a very thin metal mesh.
[25.08.2022 12:40:44] "Beep": Otherwise, Beep would wish to congratulate for being excellent at improvising on functional combat equipment!
[25.08.2022 12:41:12] Nenet.Mido: I can't complain. This is my only functioning ship, and it has served me well.
[25.08.2022 12:41:33] Nenet.Mido: Mostly downs.
[25.08.2022 12:41:38] Nenet.Mido: Shallow dives.
[25.08.2022 12:41:46] "Beep": Does this mean Nenet Mido's aforementioned Dromedary is not functional?
[25.08.2022 12:42:02] Nenet.Mido: At the moment it is functional, more or less.
[25.08.2022 12:42:11] Nenet.Mido: It goes from point A to point B. That's about it.
[25.08.2022 12:42:20] "Beep": Beep understands!
[25.08.2022 12:42:40] Nenet.Mido: Don't expect sharp turns or anything going near the safety limits without it creaking and complaining.
[25.08.2022 12:43:04] "Beep": Beep will make sure to not expect that from Nenet Mido's Dromedary.
[25.08.2022 12:43:28] "Beep": Does De Belmont live in a cargo hold, too?
[25.08.2022 12:43:42] Nenet.Mido: You can expect it from any other Dromedaries though. They are pretty sturdy.
[25.08.2022 12:43:54] Nenet.Mido: I learnt to fly on one.
[25.08.2022 12:44:04] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Ha-ha, no. I'm in luck to have an apartment.
[25.08.2022 12:44:19] Nenet.Mido: Is it a hole in an asteroid?
[25.08.2022 12:44:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Even if it's a shared room with minimal amenities, I'm not complaining.
[25.08.2022 12:44:39] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Non, definitely no hole in an asteroid.
[25.08.2022 12:44:43] Nenet.Mido: Sounds like a hole in an asteroid.
[25.08.2022 12:44:49] A $90.000 credit bounty has been added to your reward pool.
[25.08.2022 12:44:58] "Beep": Beep relates. Beep has a locker on Roppongi Station where Beep goes to recharge. It is very small, but just big enough to fit.
[25.08.2022 12:45:22] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: More like a cot on a warship.
[25.08.2022 12:45:32] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Than a hole on an asteroid.
[25.08.2022 12:45:39] Nenet.Mido: Would have thought you'd at least get your own locker from the Technocrats
[25.08.2022 12:46:06] Nenet.Mido: Yeah yeah, potato potato.
[25.08.2022 12:46:10] "Beep": Beep does have a recharging station on Valravn Citadel in Inverness system!
[25.08.2022 12:46:13] Nenet.Mido: Same thing.
[25.08.2022 12:46:22] Tip: You were a new player once. If you see someone making obvious mistakes, talk to them and help them.
[25.08.2022 12:46:26] Nenet.Mido: Sounds better than a footlocker.
[25.08.2022 12:46:39] "Beep": But Beep is stationed in Kusari for meeting the locals and exploring space. Thus, Beep got a recharger on Roppongi Station.
[25.08.2022 12:47:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That's all great and interesting, but I've got a schedule, too.
[25.08.2022 12:47:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Thus, I must be off.
[25.08.2022 12:47:13] Nenet.Mido: Only thing I ever got from Roppongi was a set of hunters sent after me.
[25.08.2022 12:47:21] Nenet.Mido: Must be some busy sight seeing.
[25.08.2022 12:47:21] "Beep": Beep looks forward to the next encounter with De Belmont!
[25.08.2022 12:47:25] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Enjoy your time.
[25.08.2022 12:47:40] "Beep": Beep will enjoy Beep's time!
[25.08.2022 12:47:46] Nenet.Mido: Later.
Last, but not the least? I was contacted by the Technocrat. I'm flattered quite a few still remember me there.
[26.08.2022 18:27:47] A/)-Revenant: [INCOMING TRANSMISSION. ACCEPT/DECLINE?]
[26.08.2022 18:28:00] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: [ACCEPT]
[26.08.2022 18:28:28] Death: Carlos.Santiago was put out of action by BHG|Dawn (Gun).
[26.08.2022 18:29:00] A/)-Revenant: Belmont of the 27th I presume.
[26.08.2022 18:29:10] A/)-Revenant: I could not help but be oddly curious at your relayed message.
[26.08.2022 18:29:16] A/)-Revenant: Did we know each other previously?
[26.08.2022 18:29:26] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Correct. So the drone worked out as expected.
[26.08.2022 18:29:45] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It could that we've crossed on the frontlines in New London.
[26.08.2022 18:30:05] A $60.000 credit bounty has been added to your reward pool.
[26.08.2022 18:30:12] A/)-Revenant: I was personally not too frequently present at the height of the Gallic conflict. Although it may be
[26.08.2022 18:30:30] A $90.000 credit bounty has been added to your reward pool.
[26.08.2022 18:30:30] A/)-Revenant: possible that we met... I don't quite recall...
[26.08.2022 18:30:36] A/)-Revenant: Was there a specific circumstance you remember?
[26.08.2022 18:31:54] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Can not say I do. But I've returned to the region and probing old acquaintances... and "possible" acquaintances.
[26.08.2022 18:32:34] A/)-Revenant: Well, you may have missed out on the change -
[26.08.2022 18:32:56] A/)-Revenant: Apologies. The change of political scenary.
[26.08.2022 18:33:06] A/)-Revenant: Bretonia had betrayed my people during the last stages of the Gallic war.
[26.08.2022 18:33:16] A/)-Revenant: ... mid-last... well... long time, regardless.
[26.08.2022 18:35:02] A/)-Revenant: Stances with the Royalists had changed in such circumstances. Bretonia - was becoming more of a
[26.08.2022 18:35:19] A/)-Revenant: monster than the Gallics "raw audacity"
[26.08.2022 18:35:38] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Well, quite an irony it is, stabbed by the ones you've been so selflessly helping.
[26.08.2022 18:35:59] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Either way, I'm back to the region and plan on hunting some Bretonians. And I'm not alone in that.
[26.08.2022 18:36:30] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Could we make a mutually beneficial deal?
[26.08.2022 18:37:06] A/)-Revenant: Perhaps. How is your standing with the other locals?
[26.08.2022 18:37:19] A/)-Revenant: If I am not mistaken - you did reconnect with the other Royalists in Roussilion?
[26.08.2022 18:37:56] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: We did, but rest view us belligerent at best. Though they aren't high on priority list. Except Gaians, maybe?
[26.08.2022 18:38:07] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Since the story with that, uh, bacteria.
[26.08.2022 18:38:49] A/)-Revenant: I'm not sure how secure it is to communicate over the comms, but -
[26.08.2022 18:39:15] A/)-Revenant: I will approach the Bretonian Borders from the Taus
[26.08.2022 18:39:25] Death: TastySnail was put out of action by HS>Chamuscado (Gun).
[26.08.2022 18:39:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Say no more.
[26.08.2022 18:40:17] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Leeds, Stokes field, 4H. Sounds good?
[26.08.2022 18:40:34] A/)-Revenant: It'll suffice.
[26.08.2022 18:42:29] A/)-Revenant: I'll be there in about... four minutes.
[26.08.2022 18:45:12] A/)-Revenant: Fourty clicks out.
[26.08.2022 18:45:39] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I am in place. Seek out a wrecked asteroid miner
[26.08.2022 18:46:50] A/)-Revenant: I covered my tracks, I wasn't followed.
[26.08.2022 18:47:02] A/)-Revenant: So... Belmont, is it? I don't fully recall a Belmont in the past years.
[26.08.2022 18:47:07] A/)-Revenant: Though, I do not recall an awful lot as is.
[26.08.2022 18:47:07] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Good. I doubted not for a moment you're competent enough.
[26.08.2022 18:47:38] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Emilie-Sophie de Belmont. Back in the day I used to be with Marine Royale. Then it got hectic.
[26.08.2022 18:47:49] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Life can be weird when you're laying low here and there.
[26.08.2022 18:47:51] A/)-Revenant: Ah.
[26.08.2022 18:48:01] A/)-Revenant: I apologise, my memory has its... faults.
[26.08.2022 18:48:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Happens.
[26.08.2022 18:48:42] A/)-Revenant: You mentioned that you were vested in working against the Bretonians... How do you hope to achieve that?
[26.08.2022 18:49:05] A/)-Revenant: Last I know from the MDG - they made reassurances of foregoing support from the locals.
[26.08.2022 18:49:26] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Royalists as an actual force are quite pathetic, but are excellent as raiding party.
[26.08.2022 18:49:37] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It is best done if chaos is sown within Bretonia.
[26.08.2022 18:49:44] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Strike at their transports.
[26.08.2022 18:49:49] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Hunt and slay patrols.
[26.08.2022 18:50:23] A/)-Revenant: Well, logistics, amongst other matters affect your daily routine. Fighting off the entire area isn't ideal.
[26.08.2022 18:50:41] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: We'd even do the same in the Cortez if sufficiently supplied and provided with a port to stage off.
[26.08.2022 18:50:52] A/)-Revenant: Mm...
[26.08.2022 18:50:58] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'm sure most of locals will be belligerent, except junkers.
[26.08.2022 18:51:11] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Those don't really care on who to let in.
[26.08.2022 18:52:35] A/)-Revenant: Funnily enough, within the heart of Crayter territory, is multiple staging points.
[26.08.2022 18:53:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Crayter were always an incompetent joke.
[26.08.2022 18:53:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Looks like something never changes.
[26.08.2022 18:53:31] A/)-Revenant: They task themselves with a great ambition to dominate the Taus. It is no surprise that they overstretch their boundaries.
[26.08.2022 18:54:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Hah! Not even any of the trio of the Houses with access to Taus achieved that.
[26.08.2022 18:54:05] A/)-Revenant: A common theme for those craving for more power.
[26.08.2022 18:54:13] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: What are they hoping for? Idiots.
[26.08.2022 18:54:30] A/)-Revenant: Mm... Well. Bretonia and Crayter are closely intertwined.
[26.08.2022 18:54:47] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Yeah, been ever since the war.
[26.08.2022 18:54:51] A/)-Revenant: Interestingly, there was some strife with Liberty.
[26.08.2022 18:55:24] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: So the triumvirate broke up, hm?
[26.08.2022 18:56:04] A/)-Revenant: Not entirely.
[26.08.2022 18:56:13] A/)-Revenant: A minor dispute over some treaty.
[26.08.2022 18:56:33] A/)-Revenant: So, what was it that you wished to speak about? You wished to strike back at Bretonia?
[26.08.2022 18:56:53] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Bet Liberty demanded parley for the ships lost and pilots killed... But Bretonia didn't want to pay up it all.
[26.08.2022 18:56:55] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Anyway...
[26.08.2022 18:57:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A wish like that was always there.
[26.08.2022 18:57:37] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: They've grown complacent since the Enclave mostly left for the joke of a merge with the current Gallic state.
[26.08.2022 18:57:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Whatever they're calling themselves.
[26.08.2022 18:58:09] A/)-Revenant: The Union. The King is long dead.
[26.08.2022 18:58:22] A/)-Revenant: The state is somewhat familiar.
[26.08.2022 18:58:40] A/)-Revenant: Yet more open to trading with outsiders, some of the royalty remain in power from what I gather.
[26.08.2022 18:58:43] A/)-Revenant: I am not phased.
[26.08.2022 18:59:02] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'm not really concerned of politics, Revenant. But that's not surprising.
[26.08.2022 18:59:16] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Those so used to power won't give it away easily.
[26.08.2022 18:59:34] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Enclave's entrance into the Union played into it's favor a lot, I bet.
[26.08.2022 19:00:53] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But anyway, what's happening at home isn't really relevant here and now.
[26.08.2022 19:01:02] A/)-Revenant: Is it?
[26.08.2022 19:01:27] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: No. We're talking of a different crown today.
[26.08.2022 19:01:30] A/)-Revenant: Because they seem to be convinced that it's enough of a threat to sign into defence pacts.
[26.08.2022 19:02:14] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Bah. I doubt Gallia will go for another war. It's been one mad king's ambitions.
[26.08.2022 19:02:29] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And a clique of his hardcore supporters, like Chanteloup.
[26.08.2022 19:02:31] A/)-Revenant: No... The others will strike back at Gallia.
[26.08.2022 19:02:49] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Others who?
[26.08.2022 19:02:55] A/)-Revenant: Bretonia. Kusari. Liberty. Crayter.
[26.08.2022 19:02:58] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Kusari tried.
[26.08.2022 19:03:02] A/)-Revenant: They tried alone.
[26.08.2022 19:03:05] A/)-Revenant: Now they will not be alone.
[26.08.2022 19:03:09] A/)-Revenant: ...regardless.
[26.08.2022 19:03:17] A/)-Revenant: What did you want to do?
[26.08.2022 19:03:22] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Bretonia's still in shambles. Liberty is too far and Crayter is minuscule.
[26.08.2022 19:03:35] A/)-Revenant: Strength in unity, but we'll digress.
[26.08.2022 19:04:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: If we ever reach for a deal it'll be simple.
[26.08.2022 19:04:17] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: We find staging points close to your home.
[26.08.2022 19:04:30] A/)-Revenant: Why.
[26.08.2022 19:04:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: And attack whatever shipping or combat patrols are caught in an unfavorable time and place.
[26.08.2022 19:04:55] A/)-Revenant: Newcastle would be a sane starting point.
[26.08.2022 19:05:10] A/)-Revenant: Carlisle has been receiving refugees from the Vespucci campaign as of the late.
[26.08.2022 19:05:25] A/)-Revenant: And Newcastle is considered a 'safer run' than the New London corridor.
[26.08.2022 19:06:33] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I see. I'll need to run some recon in that direction.
[26.08.2022 19:06:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Can't come to higher-ups empty-handed.
[26.08.2022 19:07:03] A/)-Revenant: I'm not quite sure what you expect of me otherwise.
[26.08.2022 19:07:15] A/)-Revenant: Especially when the other Royalist cells have been harassing neutral communes within the Taus.
[26.08.2022 19:07:27] Death: DTR-Daniele.Montalbano was put out of action by MA|Zorro (Mine).
[26.08.2022 19:07:44] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: We're not answering for *all* Royalists, and you see? We're in quite a stretch.
[26.08.2022 19:08:01] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: 'Harassment' from your standpoint, as you put it...
[26.08.2022 19:08:08] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: ...is acquisition of vital resources for us.
[26.08.2022 19:08:11] A/)-Revenant: I'm aware of that, but it isn't good for your PR.
[26.08.2022 19:08:15] A/)-Revenant: No, no it was not the case.
[26.08.2022 19:08:31] A/)-Revenant: It is especially... unhelpful when said settlements are against Crayter expansionism.
[26.08.2022 19:09:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: We, at least, are adequately evaluating our abilities of force projection.
[26.08.2022 19:09:50] A/)-Revenant: Mmm.
[26.08.2022 19:09:51] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Not going to touch those neutral communes probably.
[26.08.2022 19:10:31] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Personally, I'm here to hunt Bretonians in all forms, and there's quite some officers cordial with me.
[26.08.2022 19:10:52] A/)-Revenant: And I presume you want me to help you in your quest for such?
[26.08.2022 19:11:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It'll be mutually helpful.
[26.08.2022 19:11:39] Tip: The ''Laws of Sirius'', are a collection of in-roleplay laws for each house. They mention things such as contraband, punishments and fines and are enforceable by lawful IDed ships.
[26.08.2022 19:11:50] A/)-Revenant: My attention is required all over the Sector, I cannot personally focus on the Bretonian... problem. At the moment, we deal
[26.08.2022 19:11:59] A/)-Revenant: with them as they come by in the Independent Worlds, should they tread.
[26.08.2022 19:12:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: But you've got some competent personnel at home who could, no?
[26.08.2022 19:12:30] A/)-Revenant: We have competent personnel.
[26.08.2022 19:12:40] A/)-Revenant: It is a matter of ... when, and how, and whether it is worth it at the time.
[26.08.2022 19:12:50] A/)-Revenant: There are many matters - much more imperative - that require our immediate attention.
[26.08.2022 19:13:16] A/)-Revenant: We cannot afford attacks into Bretonia itself, we will be overstretching our operations.
[26.08.2022 19:13:25] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: That can be discussed on a deeper level and closer to the moments of strikes.
[26.08.2022 19:13:26] A/)-Revenant: It was a stretch enough to send assets to chase down turncoats.
[26.08.2022 19:14:18] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It should not necessarily be within Bretonia. There, we can sabotage on our own, and it will be less of a stretch...
[26.08.2022 19:14:36] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Our joint operations can be undertaken even in Crayter homeworld.
[26.08.2022 19:14:53] A/)-Revenant: We anticipate the Bretonians and the Crayterians to attack us, alongside Liberty. We're staying - ... mostly
[26.08.2022 19:14:56] A/)-Revenant: on the defensive.
[26.08.2022 19:15:03] A/)-Revenant: Do you have contact with the Miners Guild?
[26.08.2022 19:15:11] A/)-Revenant: They have a place of operations in Coronado.
[26.08.2022 19:15:38] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: No, not yet. 27th| have only came together but of course, we'll exploit all possible options.
[26.08.2022 19:15:50] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I'll do that myself if I have to.
[26.08.2022 19:17:25] A/)-Revenant: I can only suggest that you try to investigate the scenary for underground resistance against Crayter.
[26.08.2022 19:17:40] A/)-Revenant: No doubt there may be some... disillusioned denizens who were taken from Vespucci present.
[26.08.2022 19:18:03] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: A sound advice. I'll pick it up, too.
[26.08.2022 19:18:35] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: There's also been time when Marine Royale was quite... cordial with Vespucci rebels.
[26.08.2022 19:18:45] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: It can be taken advantage of.
[26.08.2022 19:18:45] A/)-Revenant: I was aware of such.
[26.08.2022 19:18:55] A/)-Revenant: They are within the process of being destroyed.
[26.08.2022 19:19:04] A/)-Revenant: Unfortunately, their Command did succumb to the illusion of power grabbing too.
[26.08.2022 19:19:12] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Really? That's a shame.
[26.08.2022 19:19:20] A/)-Revenant: Whilst we're not quite of their attempts of claiming our homeland, we're not going to turn away people who
[26.08.2022 19:19:21] A/)-Revenant: need helpl.
[26.08.2022 19:19:29] A/)-Revenant: Well, if they /show/ the decency for it.
[26.08.2022 19:19:43] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Fair point.
[26.08.2022 19:20:17] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Also at that, I think, we've exhausted topics for discussion.
[26.08.2022 19:20:31] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Unless you have something else to bring up?
[26.08.2022 19:20:43] A/)-Revenant: No, not at the moment.
[26.08.2022 19:20:55] A/)-Revenant: Though I can only suggest trying to... make better ties with those around you. Not everyone is happy with Crayter.
[26.08.2022 19:21:04] A/)-Revenant: Oh, did you know - Crayter assumes ownership of Roussilion?
[26.08.2022 19:21:05] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Then, I'll be getting things done.
[26.08.2022 19:21:13] A/)-Revenant: They have come to the place with their warships.
[26.08.2022 19:21:17] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: They do?
[26.08.2022 19:21:23] A/)-Revenant: But be warned, it seems Union Corse were flying along with them.
[26.08.2022 19:21:32] A/)-Revenant: It is within their charter too, Crayter's one.
[26.08.2022 19:21:41] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Just fools banded together.
[26.08.2022 19:21:47] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: We'll gladly drive them out.
[26.08.2022 19:21:56] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Not alone if needed be.
[26.08.2022 19:22:10] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I am particularly curious about Gaians.
[26.08.2022 19:22:20] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: They seem to have turned quite... belligerent.
[26.08.2022 19:22:24] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: Almost savage.
[26.08.2022 19:22:51] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: What they did to Gaia isn't on scale of Leeds, of course, but still unsettling. And curious.
[26.08.2022 19:23:16] A/)-Revenant: Desperate.
[26.08.2022 19:23:46] 27th|E-S.De.Belmont.: I suppose.

Call that dubious acquaintances if you want, but I call that useful contacts. Well, maybe the Bretonian spook not so muh, but locals not going at our throats are much more so. So, what are your thoughts?

Commandant de Belmont,
First of all, I suggest you reconsider the use of names used by the Sirius Houses and call things what they should be called - therefore Brittany, not Orkney. Using our toponyms is just a small step towards regaining control of these places, whether our enemies want it or not. Besides, most of our people are just less tolerant than I am, they can and probably won't like the use of Sirian place names. Bear this in mind.
We have encountered the aforementioned 'Oracle' and it was but a Zoner, however since this moment forward we will be more careful approaching this individual. Perhaps interrogation is the quickest way to resolve the mystery - affiliated this one with the Oracles and other cultists or he is but a stranger. One lost in the misty ice fields of the Hebrides.
As fore the Bretonian Intelligence, I am not sure that you can cheat a cheater: they are a certain threat, well trained to infiltrate our ranks, pretending to be collaborates and else. We had to suffer of this in the past, we should not have this in the future. I'd highly advise to reconsider your approach toward the assassination, however if you are sure in your charm, you might try to turn the round and either use this particular agent for our ends or recruit him as an information source within the BIS ranks. This one I leave fore yourself to consider.
Not sure what I read from Log Attachment #2, however, considering your contact with the BIS agent, and now this - you are for certain have something that make these people trust you. Whatever it is, I for certain lack this quality.
If you decide to get closer with the Auxesians, watch after your equipment and ship. They are well known techno-kleptomaniacs, 'harvesting' whatever lays unwatched. As for the rest - I value results the most, and you are entrusted with freedom in your actions as long as they bring no harm to our people and do not disclose locations of key facilities. Perhaps, even the techno-kleptomaniacs can serve their purpose to our case, who knows.
Is this all or you'd like to discuss something more detailed?

Clement, Clement, Clement...
... this isn't going to do at all, conquest isn't done in names, but in the force of arms, in strategy and tactics, in... psychology. Get real, we're far from that. Brittany is ravaged by aliens, it's a lawless and chaotic place. Bordeaux is a graveyard looming with radicalised marginals unleashing flesh-eating bacteria on their precious pristine world. Can you say we've got solid control over any of it, are marginals pacified and Bretonians or the rats of the Union routed?
No, no, no and no. We've got a long way ahead to go and mounting illusions on illusions to indoctrinate isn't the way to spark the flame to claim what's ours.
I trust in my old soldier's charm alright, and don't worry. I won't let anything of mine fall in kleptomaniacs' hands. Well aware of the reputation and it's all with built-in self-destruction. Without my authorisation it goes kaboom in 72 hours, unless I manually disable it between flights.
That's all for now, but I'll talk to you again soon. Will set some guerilla runs in the east in motion, hopefully not alone.

Commandant de Belmont,
The only real value of Brittany was the pathway to Hebrides. It lost its value when EFL engaged their Jump Gate heading to Gironde. Since that moment forward, value of Brittany went to zero - no valuable resources our people could extract without spending going over income, nor habitable planets - ice and stones, covered by gas. That's all Brittany is. Its loss might be even a relief to Gallia, as now Bretonia will be busy with the Nomads in their neighbourhood, not ours. Gallic worlds are far from Brittany, and that only anomaly was unique due to distance of travel it allowed, and stability it had after multiple large vessels, the Vauban including, passed through it. Alas, now its gone.
Bordeaux was a jewel of Sirius, conquered by Gallia. Mad Gaians poisoned this world but our scientists might discover how to undo this effect one day, once the Kingdom is restored and every vermin is eradicated from our territory. No need to drop a tear of what's now done, but only focus on getting goals accomplished and things done.
Good hunting, soldier. Report as soon as there any progress.

You are tasked to infiltrate either Auxesia or SIS, interrogate either or both leaders, leave fake lead to a third party to make Bretonian divide et conquer work against them. By possibility - eliminate either of them, however if not possible - then conduct as big damage to their organisations as possible and return to the Resurgent safe and sound for report. Our men will provide necessary aid and assistance - act by pattern "Chaos is the ladder". A few minor details in this communique.

I wish that was some kind of joke but I know people with your kinda facial expressions aren't with the best sense of humor.
... urgh. Fine, I'll see what I can do but don't expect much, I'm a soldier, not a spook to be good at snooping around; deploy our wings to Coronado as planned, let's feign ignorance and pretend we're planning to execute our moves, as if nothing special is going on.
I'll call back when there's any results.

Do what you can: these barbarians willingly believe in sob stories and silly reasons along the lines of "they killed my dog, now I hate them all to the last, as well as their children". Of course, I exaggerate, but you get the general thrust.

The spooks didn't take the bait, neither of them. I'm getting off this shithole while you're thinking of a new thing to do for me; it better be some fighting, not sweettalking suave Bretonians.

Watch your language when talking to a superior. I shall not tolerate insubordination in the Regiment.
If Steiner & CO don't want to get a bite, so be it - we'll dance on their bones eventually, no matter how hard they will try to scheme against us. Return to the Gevaudan, I will brief you regarding the new mission.
