In the last 24 hours, it has come to my notice that 2 POBs (1 yesterday and the other within the last hour) have lost their credits and their Modules have been destroyed.
Now this hasn't been due to any bug but a result, and I am sorry if I upset someone's sensibility, of the Owner's sheer STUPIDITY.
Having Admin Passwords such as Shop, viewshop is just asking for trouble. They are alright for the 'viewshop' capability, as they don't allow people to alter/steal anything from your Base.
This allowed someone, who in his own words "was done to teach them a lesson", to cause a lot of pain to said Owners.
I will restore these 2 Bases, this time, but don't expect this to be regular occurrence if it is found that the Owners have been stupid after this warning.
Please be aware, if you hand out the pwd to your Bases, then any loss/damage to your Base is your responsibility.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
I feel stupid lol because i don't understand anything here
What happened? and Is someone able to cause damage using a view shop password?
Sorry i am confused lol

The 2 Bases, in question, had set their Admin Password with the passwords being Shop and viewshop.

Ah I understand now, That is not smart at all
It is like having your router password as "admin"
Thanks for elaborating @St.Denis
So let me get this right, a player who had no authorization from its owners altered two bases so much that it required Admin intervention and restoration and you make an announcement not condemning the player and warning others not to do the same but condemning the owners instead?
This is literally textbook definition of victim blaming. "Victim blaming can be defined as someone saying, implying, or treating a person who has experienced harmful or abusive behavior like it was a result of something they did or said, instead of placing the responsibility where it belongs: on the person who harmed them."
Out of all the people I could have ever imagined making a post like this, Denis you werent even on the list. What a shame.

Take it easy my friend
A base owner should not make his password 123 or shop or viewership or admin
It's obvious and easily breakable... There is nothing wrong in warning the base owners about that.
If next time someone uses their naive actions to destroy their bases then the admins won't be able to help them... Chill dude,
bro actually just got away with stealing money from bases that werent his and had no access to because he guessed the password
i guess its time for me to bruteforce an admins password on the forums and get away with it because they shouldnt have made it so easy for my 3060ti to calculate and break
I agree with you dude, that the one who stole the money should not be left unpunished for trying to guess a naive password and steal from others.
But what if this is been repeated, then shouldn't the base owners get a heads up because not every time the admins will be able to help you especially if the problem is happening because the base owner is putting in a naive password which can be guessed by a 5 years old.... get real on both sides, please.
