Good evening.

Since the establishment of the Eupen colony on Saarbrucken two years ago, the colony has been operating at a below average pace. Concerns have been raised by the esteemed workers regarding the security of the local star sector. Despite overcoming the challenges posed by rogue debris acting as meteorites against the planet's surface in cooperation with Rheinland corporations, the people of Eupen have expressed grave concerns about the lack of self-assurance when it comes to security.

Upon receiving these reports, we conducted an investigation and found that the average frequency of Rheinland patrols has drastically decreased while more belligerent entities have increased in frequency. Further observations have revealed a greater presence of terrorist pilots known as the Order, who are targeting our people and bringing in capital assets to the Rheinland borders to assault Rheinland assets while being assisted by Corsairs.

I shall be attaching all known encounters in and near Rheinland's borders.

Therefore, we would like to make a formal request to permit an armed presence on Eupen to increase security and safety for both Technocrats and Rheinlanders, given the increase in Corsair and Order aggression. Furthermore, we would like to inquire about the possibility of deploying Cruiser-Battlecruiser assets to patrol the surrounding orbit of Saarbrucken to ensure the safety of the colonists.

In light of these requests, we would like to offer Rheinland a discount for hyperspatial survey scanning, as we have recently made a breakthrough in hyperspatial studies that has granted us insight into an optimized method of performing surveys. However, due to the aforementioned increased aggression of the Order, we strongly urge you to permit one of our own patrol cruisers, the Ixion, to escort our bustard surveying platform to ensure the safety of the expensive vessel.

We would appreciate your thoughts on this matter and look forward to working together to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved.

The Rheinland Government has forwarded this request to the Military and together we concluded this decision.
We will not allow non-military cruisers/battlecruisers in Rheinland space as for these reasons:

You speak of a decrease of patrols, yet many of your footage shows Rheinland forces aiding your forces in battle. We know we can't always be present everywhere anytime, but we do our best to keep the most problematic locations safe. Since the reclamation of the Cologne system, we admit some of our forces have been diverted to other systems that Oberkommando deemed more necessary to reinforce as of this point.

We do however, still have the prestigious Battleship Altenburg keeping an eye out in the Cologne system where the Rheinland Military stages occasional patrols from. We already sent forward our suggestions to it's Commander to improve communications with your colony for better security coordination. Also, we are willing to organize a local militia that both Auxo- and Rheinland settlers can volunteer in on Planet Saarbrucken itself. This militia will of course be led by the local Rheinland Governor of Cologne itself.
