I've been with Starfliers for few weeks now.
It's been good, interesting and different from other factions in their gameplay and RP.

I endorse this faction!

This faction is unique and vital for the atmosphere of exploration and wonder. I think the patch delay really hurt their exploration and cartography concept. The staff should take into account that having Starfliers official will aid in creating forum and roleplay hype for the new system changes when new players come in, and will encourage further non-combat, non-afk trading roleplay and exploratory factions to be created/aim for officialdom. Unique non-combat roleplay heavy faction concepts like this one should be encouraged as much as possible.

I've enjoyed every interaction I've had with the Starfliers so far, they fill a unique niche that I myself, and I'm sure many others, did not even realize we had before this faction came along.
From mediation to exploration, cartography and research, the faction is a breath of fresh air from the very heavily represented 'pvp is rp' mindset.
Despite their questional diplo choices (I kid) I can't think of another faction in recent memory that seems more deserving to have their OF application accepted.

Here's hoping they add cau8 repairships to their pacifist repetoir, a personal favorite of mine. (technically a gun I suppose, but still Tongue

)

This faction is the only faction that I have seen on discovery that requests an ID with lesser specifications than the Freelancer ID
It is definitely a unique faction with its "No Weapons" policy, although I still fail to understand how they can defend themselves
Space is a dark place full of hostiles... Not everyone around is peaceful and some kill for sport... Good luck with your faction officialdom request Smile

There is still an incredible amount of areas and things to discover inRP without the patch being released. I'm excited for the new stuff, don't get me wrong, but there is no short supply of what the Starfliers can discover at the moment.
