If you feel like an ID is wrong, file a report on it.
I lead SCRA and if you have a problem that there is a cap in Kansas - write it down in feedback thread or pm me. The only thing I regret is not enough coalition ships of smaller size because we can do this by our ID lines.

There's a deep sense of irony in someone who is white-knighting a Liberty defense of a neutral POB entirely outside of Liberty jurisdiction which does nothing for Liberty complaining about some other faction's interest in attacking it.

just because you CAN do shit by your ID line doesnt mean you always should
its a wonder you havent had your lines ground into a pulp for how often you abuse them

Related to the alien gate for the former.

why are you acting like you have any say in any of this stuff? seriously when did you get elected as ruler of discovery? did I sleep through the memo or what?
edit: furthermore if aux shouldn't be there why the hell should liberty be there in the first place?
It's a border world of house space
it's 5 jumps removed from inverness
Liberty literally just spent years in Kansas and Vespucci

You might want to use basic logic about spheres of influence. Auxo ID has piracy line in Inverness, the ID is very strong as is, Kansas is 5 jumps removed from their bases now, them having a piracy line there is completely random and staff oversight that didn't adjust for new connections.
for liberty It's +1 Liberty house space jump and rules aside - off topic really very basic lore you might want to read on will tell you that the biggest conflict since the nomad and gallic wars was in Kansas and Vespucci, and was precisely about not letting hostiles fester there. You are mixing apples and oranges here though - the piracy line is a clear staff oversight all lore reasons aside, the Auxo IDs need to be fixed post patch.

Besides Kansas when did you see last time SCRA capship outside indie cap zone?

bro still thinks liberty is going to have a logistics line set up for capital ships to be screwing around in kansas shooting at petty pirates lmao

Literally shooting Insurgency Remnants, Zoner Warships, Coalition Warships, Technocracy Insurgency Arbiter and other caps and more. All teaming up, alongside reaver mercenaries also hostile to Liberty.

The piracy line is related to enforcing the alien gate's sanctity remaining clear - and Vespucci line was added before because at the time the regulations covered that system too. You're making assumptions of things you do not know. The ID's fine, Vespucci line may be redundant as the Inverness connection is gone, which kind of sucks for the gameplay for smuggling.

You are way too far from your bases or any allied bases now to do in any way, blanket piracy line is way too powerful to be that far. That you used that oversight to siege PoBs is on staff for not updating the IDs, PR is sent and you are right that this is not the topic. If Orion gets parked there as the gate is so important then you can request the lines back, but they have to go now.
On topic, as I said, numbers still seem off/too easy for attackers
