It isn't bad. It's within reasonable action to stay safe lol. I definitely saw another guy log on to chase too who was coming to Coronado. And with every encounter I had leading up to that point was just attacks, I had no reason to believe otherwise. Especially after seeing that your 'retirement' is implication to attack.

There was nothing wrong with this. I don't know why you're fussing over the fact you didn't catch me with my pants down. Does it really matter that much though?

I didn’t understand what idea you wanted to explain with this message. Bounty Hunters making kills? Well, yes, I understand that. Uh. What? Reword it, I didn’t get a single bit.

Straw men flew into battle. Who said "hours" of sitting in one place? I am aware that there are "unplanned" interactions between players. I'm not naive enough to imagine that I'm playing a single-player game with the occasional "bot" that can write "oh, hi!" in the chat. But there are “interactions”, and there is a certain pattern that is visible over a period of time. And I raise the issue of "pattern". If a pirate cuts me off while trading, that's okay. Or if I'm patrolling the area, doing missions. If this is a “one-time” meeting or a meeting that occurs with a certain frequency, okay. But when it's every time you plan an activity, something in it is... unpleasant.
For some reason it seemed to me that I could address you as a representative of the faction. I could have made a mistake, and apologize if walked the thick line between personal and “factional”. Seriously. Didn't look at it that way. True that your anonymity is a little disorienting.

To Aegis
Just a second, to be clear. You wanna kill me - please, as much as you want. But do it when I am predisposed to kill you. I don't blame you for being bounty hunters who hunt my ship or anything like that. I raise the issue that I am losing interest in logging into the game, because I feel like you are engaging at every opportunity. As if you consider it a personal insult that you could just miss one fight without your participation. Because I can’t come into the game after work, do missions, mine ore, or take part in a pre-agreed battle that does not include your "company". Damn it, I'm not even bothering anyone. No one at all. I silently mine ore, fight with those who have previously agreed to fight, and don’t even touch the merchants flying past. The problem is that Aegis force any interaction. And it kills my desire to play. This will kill my desire, you will take on the next one. And the next one. And the next one. I wrote this message in full before Kauket’s post, but I have to add that, indeed, the battle against all the aces adds absolutely no interest. I fought the Brets, the RM, the KNF, the Nomads. And they are all interesting because I, being an ordinary person, fight with ordinary people. Especially being tired after a 12 hour shift.
And even when I see that Aegis expresses a desire to fight, and in general I am not against it, I can give time to bring up the “allies” so that the balance is equal. But at the same time, your faction considers it necessary to play rather dirty, which kills the very idea and the desire to play honestly in relation to you.

Okay, I heard you and completely agree with you. I am not a member of Auxesia, but an active opponent of Aegis on another line. I am ready to work on the "honesty of war" if Aegis is ready to work in return. Teach and help the overall level of players grow.
Sorry, guys, I will tell you straight - you will come to the point that everyone will simply leave the game, even right during the battle, just so as not to see you. Because I already think about this regularly. I'm not interested in playing or fighting with you. Just because I can feel through monitor your hands sweating on your mouse. I see and determine your every movement and thoughts in your head by the way your blasts fly towards my ship. And how you change positioning in battle. I watched a lot video of your fight. And I am horrified by the surgical precision with which you try to kill your enemy. It's not about the game. It's not funny and it's not about having a good time. I respect that in terms of the effort put in and the skills gained. But you turn on your berserk mode from the beginning of the battle until the very end, giving absolutely no joy and no chances to the average player.
I would recommend you use one official account for inrp comms so that it's easier for people to look at all your rp. That would at least show people what you're capable of on the forum. For example, this comm to DSE comes from an anonymous "burner" account that no one will think to check when looking at information about your faction. Either use @The Aegis Initiative, or list the other accounts inside the info thread.
I think you should also strongly consider doing MDs. If having a list of accounts shows people forum rp, MDs show people in-game rp when they weren't part of the interaction. I personally also want to read interesting in-game MDs, and I think you're capable of writing them. You guys have plenty of credits - incentivize people taking the time to write something by paying them. Or just assign the job to one of your players who doesn't mind making these posts - I realize it's not for everyone.
Finally, with this and Orex, I don't like where factions are heading in terms of openness. Why don't you have a discord? Why not list a 2IC? Will anyone be able to join, or is recruitment behind closed doors such as discord pms? Is there going to be a feedback thread where people can discuss issues they have with the faction?
It's hard for me to explain, but this increased anonymity is giving off the wrong vibe. What is the point of it?
I'm not that fussed. I'm simply pointing out there were plenty of RP options available to you and you didn't opt for any of them, and ergo it's, purely imo, a strange high ground to take that aegis are the ones unwilling to RP.
[03.07.2024] LNS-Beast***: we can do this every day but you have to buy bigger stronger ships...and i'll help you

Who said "hours" of sitting in one place?
I did. And the player list does. If a person sits in one place for hours, it is only natural that people log to check out what that person is doing. That isn't excluside to people who want to talk but also includes people who want to fight. Nice bait, though.

Well as I said, history and probability. It looked like it was going in that direction from the words, and knowing in the past that words surmounted to nothing, didn't see reason to try, nor was I interested at the time. Either way, not really a huge problem.

I meant to tell you that complaining about a faction, in this case Aegis, doing their job by playing the role that they have within the ingame universe which includes but is not limited to claiming bounties is extremely silly and frankly just whiny. You're putting a target on yourself by logging and playing factions that are hostile to the Bounty Hunters, just like with any other faction and it is perfectly within their role of the universe and their right as a player to engage you. This is like complaining that the Liberty Navy shoots your Liberty Rogue character.
Is skill disparity an issue? Maybe so. Can and should they change the approach? Absolutely. But they can, and should continue to fulfill contracts and hunt down the Sirian Unlawfuls just as their lore suggests.
Last words are for fools who have not yet said enough.

Pretending to be a victim and labeling any criticism as "personal hate" won't make your arguments any better. You've used it so often recently it has become part of a self-fulfilling prophecy, to the point that anyone or anything remotely endangering your bubble immediately provokes a defensive response because they don't cater to your way of playing the game, no matter if they are trying to be objective and rational on the matter. Not so tolerant and inclusive as the facade you're trying to sell to the public would make it seem now, are you?
All you've done is continue the shit slinging contest of "they hurt me in the past, so I will hurt them back", continued to spread the very same vitriol you are accusing others of spreading, and have displayed absolutely nothing in regards to taking responsibility or owning up to your own actions to improve the status quo. Until you actually start addressing the issue regarding making the well less poisoned, your points are moot. Complaining about the way Aegis plays the game, yet saying "ok but I just log off anytime I see you, or gank you, sorry" makes you as much if not more complicit. Show incentive as a faction leader and as someone who clearly has unresolved drama of the past that bothers you, no matter how much you try to shrug it off like you don't care. You wouldn't be writing walls of text if you didn't.

TLDR; you didn't bother to read and you're not genuinely interested in making the faction enjoyable for others. I'm not alone in the sentiments I wrote out there.
