First, strafing was nerfed. Dodging shots became near impossible. So the only chance for more agile ship is to get on your opponent's six...Except they can launch seeking mines, with insane explosion ranges, that take out your shield completely...
Now, on top of that, once you finally break you opponent's shield. It releases a pulse, taking down your shield completely, too. Also, those shield effects are visual too. They take up the whole screen, either blocking the view or just being distracting as hell.
Exactly what I needed in an FL PvP fight, where pace is so insane every microsecond matters.
Cherry on top is 900m/s on class 1 weapons. Why not make them hitscan at this point?!
Considering all the above, next patch will probably make all LF/HF explode on VHF's sight.
