Corsair, the agreement doesn't matter then. You shouldn't have made it, and I'm just gonna take an educated guess it had something to do with AW and WA. This is an RP server, use RP. ANY agreements with ANY Yakuza should be going through Naka. He is the faction LEADER. But we both know you have never cared who was in command, as long as you get your way. Seems your doing the same here as well.
Ya know, this would be the part where I make some cold-hearted speach about us only helping for our gain, or us not careing because your human, or what-not. All within role-play, of course. But for some reason, I just can't bring myself to do it.
Frankly, part of me is getting tired of this "Phantoms always hate the AW and will always attack them" shtick. And more and more of me is starting to listen. And now comes an actual house, real planet/shipyard owning, military organized, active faction that is, in essence, more of the AW. Great. Now it's going to be more of the, "We hurt/got-hurt-by the AW" only more so on the hurt-by.
With the SF or the RM, or just about any other faction, we have somewhat compareable numbers. With the WA, they can field a greater number, and I'll bet that every one of them is at least a decent pilot. It won't matter how good the phantoms are, if we're outnumbered even 2 to 1, we'll die every time. And where is the fun in that?
Not to mention this new house is going to be simmilar to the AW. Basicly, I see AW and WA as the same. Splinter group or no, they'll have simmilar ideals, they'll have simmilar goals, and they'll work together on just about everything.
Sorry for the thread hijack. Had to say it and get it off my chest.

No, the WA will have to goals of the system lords winning civil wars in Kusari, and defending Kusari space. Being the house faction they should be for Kusari. AW are mercs, allied with WA yes, but we won't be doing the same thing.
Oh, and not all the WA's have Freelancer, remember it costs money. We only have 6-7 WAs on the server really. And not all of them can be on much. Darkwulf leads his own division (much like AW is my division), Skaldi is the Emporer's hand (2nd in command of WA). So its not like it will be unbalanced a ton or anything. Really these WAs have been on for awhile. Just using AW and WA tags, and just supporting us. Now they have their own purpose. The numbers really aren't changing, the people are just getting different tags and a different purpose.
Does the screenshots of you with 15 other people online at the same time ring a bell? All of them in AW or WA tags?
Besides, how much do you think Freelance costs now? $10? $5? It's not a new game, by any means. Yes, it can start at up to $50 or more, but after a while the price goes down significantly.
So, for purposes of attack... Say the Phantoms attack the AW. Will the WA help out? Of course. If the Phantoms attack the WA, will the AW assist? No doubt they will. For the purposes of the Phantoms, they might as well be the same.

Ya and is'nt that the size of an already medium if not almost large faction?
Been here since Discovery 4.77 (lurk mode engaged)

He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.
He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.
Bah. I apologize... I'm in a blue funk, and I need to get rid of it before I inflict others with it. No, you didn't do this Dab. It's just been a Monday.
However, to answer your question, it's true that it's not very different from allies. But, you (AW and WA) are the only allies that are even close to eachother. SF and RM are allies, yes, but we have all of Liberty and the Omegas between us. To my knowledge, nobody else is realy allied. Friendly, yes. Allied? No.
Plus, as Carbie pointed out, 6 people is a medium or even a large-ish faction. You still have 10. Larger yet.

LS and SDF were once close allies. And how is it our fault that you guys don't have close allies. Your house factions, you can't be very good allies because of that. My main reason for going ahead with this was to get a Kusari house faction with a better chance of being here for awhile. Especially to do the RP war with Bretonia.
(Sry about the OOC here, but I have a question.. Aren't the MiD meant to be neutral to all, or have to be paid to do something. Not take sides in a war? Or is there some agreement already and I just don't know about it?)
