They are obviously attempting to fix things, so let them do it without such hassle. Mistakes were made, and are being fixed.
You aren't achieving anything.
While I'm sure the admins appreciate cheerleaders, I don't really see mistakes being fixed, I see a minimal amount of damage control and no real method put into place to increase transparency or to make sure this "calm, polite and logical" concept flows both ways.
While I may not be achieving anything, at least I am trying.

And that's why you were disallowed, it seems.
If the BAF started flying Catamarans, it would be ridiculous. I would never make my Privateer a nanite genius and steal the schematics. Hell, Dieter even managed to carefully RP the theft of KNF tech, but even then we don't reproduce it.
ALso keep in m ind we ask for 1 ship and are balanced by MANY MANY enemies. You are not going to see this ship touring every where all the time. It is the RP ship its for Harvester_00. How often do you see that one?

Read the thread, my good man.
I was amongst the first to criticise the decision, agreeing with Chopper's posting of the thread. Calmly, politely and logically, as one could say.
You're just trying to stir up trouble and not treating them as human beings who have the best of intentions.

If I say it's my Privateer, why wouldn't the BAF take advantage and get better ships to turn the tide of a screwy war?
Read the back story we predate the Dom Kovosh.
EDIT: Just read this I hope you dont take it as harsh just short answer. But yes they are not human built in the slightest. We let that idea grow and spread in game but humans did not make us. Even if we allow the idea we are ZOner built. Truth is they were just a conduit.

Because there would be a lack of internally consistent logic if this were allowed but militaries weren't allowed to steal schematics and reproduce the ships on a large scale.

If your technology is more advanced than humans though, why steal their ships?
The point stands. If you need human technology, they likely have your technology.
First off, I'd like to hug both Orin and Blunt and thank them. It is nice to know that people can actually agree to reasonable things in poo-slinging fests like this has turned into.
Now, to answer your question ScornStar, since we apparently didn't answer it well enough...
SCREEN SHOTS. DOES. NOT. AN. RP. MAKE.
Just because you "scanned" the whole shipyards, evidently, does not mean you know the blueprints for the Liberty battle cruiser. And as I remember it, you first asked for three of them. Scans and pictures would be fine for discerning a load-out, maybe a sub-system here and there, but not enough to replicate the entire ship from scratch. Plus, I don't recall any consultation with the Liberty Navy higher-ups about this... What, would they let a blatantly hostile ship like a Harvester just wander up to their ship yards and get away with using high-intensity scans to peer at their latest hardware? F- No!
So stop complaining about not getting battle cruisers! You have -plenty- of other ships to pick from and use! Ships that are good!
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren

Again 1 ship. Maybe 2. Not mass produce. Also I edited my last post.

That is, I think, the kind of thing people have been asking for this entire time. Kind of. Maybe a bit more low key:)
