Excuse me, at last count there were at least 8+ people active on skpye last night, all of whom play on the discovery server.

If teaboy wants to set up an IRC channel then why should you try to stop him?

Let me see, Skype, Angel's Chat thing, 2 Teamspeaks, and now IRC?

Don't be a little cry baby when I suggest to him that we really should not keep adding chat clients/programs. Also it would appear that using voice chat is the more used form of chat, that IRC seems not needed?

Honestly I didn't need someone cryspacing about my first post. I was saying we just have a lot of chat programs already why not just use them instead of splitting everyone up even more. Not to mention IRC is a chat based thing and if you are in a game unless in window mode you will have to alt+tab a lot.*

So stop your holier-then-thou attitude.

So what if theres several different ways to chat ingame and out of game, let people try them and see for themselves.

Not everyone may like the program angel's posted about, not everyone likes teamspeak and not everyone likes skype.

People will use whatever chat program they like/prefer so as long as theres a choice I don't see what the problem is, unless you think your teamspeak server can't handle alittle competition...
