The SFMF-Horizon was chased by three phantoms through New London today and captured. All hands aboard other than me were captured by the Phantoms. The doctors and medical personnel on board have been captured, and I fear for them. The Phantoms claim that they won't kill them, thus I fear what may happen to them.
I escaped on a lone escape pod, and I am hiding out at Trafalgar base. The junkers do not know my true identity, I won their trust by performing an intense neurosurgery, saving one of their members who had been shot in the head. I ask for SF assistance to get me out of here, as I cannot steal a ship; they are very stringent on their security measures.
After leaving, the Phantoms set charges to the ship I knew as my home, and destroyed it. I hope that we can do something now, and that we are able to get some of the doctors back.
When rescued from this place, I shall have a plan formulated to save the lives of many of the medical personnel, and significant other aboard the ship.

K sometime next week (thinking wednesday), I'll be doing the payouts for those who participated in the Kusari kill count. So these are the last couple of days in which to build up those kills and make a difference in this war. Once the payouts are done, I'll have another competitive task lined up for when things are quiet on the server.

A DJC ship was spotted and fought in Cambridge today. While Battleship Sierra was not a very instrumental tool in destroying the Taiidan bomber, I feel that it is necessary to warn that DJC is now active again, more or less.

Edit: Apparently a couple of F.E.A.R ships have been active in Cambridge system.
A Corsair Dreadnaught and Rheinland cruiser were mentioned, so be on the lookout.

After getting a seconding by Hype, I'm pleased to announce the promotion of Ant to the rank of Lieutenant in the SF. Congratulations and take pride in your new rank.
I'm also pleased to anounce the arrival of 2 and possibly a 3rd new member to the SF. Currently, Stingray and CABAL's Core have decided to become members (yet to hear from the third but expecting sometime soon), so welcome to the SF guys.
On an unfortunate note, 350z has decided to leave the SF to participate on discovery in a more freelance nature and do more exploring. Wish him luck on his journeys and you're always welcome to come back.
Lastly, time for a little clean up of the members list...I've moved some names to the inactive list that have been reported as having disappeared. I haven't seen Ovidius, Unykornyo so thinking of moving them to the inactive list as well unless someone objects or has seen them.

K, time for the results of the Kusari kill count.
Based off what's posted or in signatures, here are the current number of kills for those operating in Kusari. Based off $200mil divided up would be roughly $600K per kill. If other members report in with their kills to date then the pot would of course be redistributed.
Think I'll make this an ongoing thing whenever I do enough trading to earn well over $200 mil in the bank. Usually trade while doing paper writing so building up cash happens regularly, lol.
Feel free to keep running totals if you want, but when the next kill count happens everyone will be starting off at 0 to make it fair for newer members. Note also the next one will either be Kusari again or Nomads for variation.

I think that on the next one, it may help if you give a percentage dependent on what ship is being used. My reasoning behind this is that I was using a gunboat, and I believe that Badger was using a fighter, so I had an advantage in the count. I could kill fighters very fast, and I could also kill capships quicker.
Of course, this would cause some problems with the math that you would have to do :P
