Right, well I have in my nightmares had visions of how soon the Nom nom's will invade Sirius and make life a living hell (literally), I also think that the wars currently going on needs to have some drastic and dramatic events, such as: Bretonia and Rheinland becomes allies, cutting the alliance between Liberty and Bretonia (which in fact is something I can see happening).
The Corsair - Outcast war suddenly increase when Nom nom's starts to obliterate Corsair forces, thereby strengthening/Assisting outcast's in the open (main reason for this theory is The whole "Emissary" RP currently in the works) And no, I have no idea if these things are true, but it's my theory and makes me shiver every time I think of it -shudders-
Gallia (GRN) will begin an all out attack on the Taus, effectively cutting off access to certain parts of Sirius for; OC and causes allot of trouble with the IMG and Kusari.
The Council will respond by trying to negotiate a alliance with Outcasts or other possible parties in the Taus to assist them against the Royal Crown.
Kusari will attempt a Final assault, ending the war with Bretonia once and for all, now this, I wish that the Bretonians would hold their own and beat back the Kusari war machine, but I think they'l gain a permanent foothold in Bretonian space. A None aggression pact will later be signed to concentrate on the Gallian advance.
Rheinland will effectively destroy parts of Liberty, Texas in particular causing major unrest within the Liberty populace, demanding a end to the war, the LN would therefor try to negotiate peace.
Meanwhile, the Coaliton will start and full scale campaign on Rheinland, directing the House's attention from Liberty, as they'l agree on a peace treaty.

Now, these are theories...
Erh.. Yeah.. I blame big imagination..
And with that you just destroyed almost all trade routes in Sirius. Newbies can't mine or trade without being hit by a nomad squadron or an opposing army of NPCS. :nono:
BUT! There might be some good to this. SMUGGLERS! Yes smugglers will profit like crazy when the embargoes start kicking in. For example, H-Fuel rich Kusari might close some borders to the houses which need H-fuel. Then the smugglers start becoming "privateers" that work for the opposition house, smuggling cargo from one house to another. Pirates may also become "privateers" and rob the opposition house and provide the house they're working for with valuable supplies. And of course with almost no trade between the houses. The prices of goods will SOAR in practically every house! :yahoo:
Thought personally I do not see any of these coming through.
If there were actual NPCs fighting at the borders, with a significant danger of smugglers getting caught an exploded, then high prices might work. Otherwise, you'll get silent powertraders that log in at odd hours to make tons and tons of money in a short amount of time.
