Greetings,

By this communication, we would have liked to introduce ourselves to the Guild.

As you all know, the war between Kusari and Bretonia is raging. A few systems further away, Liberty is plunging itself in a bloody war with Rheinland. The Houses are bleeding, whole Sirius is in anarchy. This situation only profites people with bad intentions, pirates and terrorists. Of course, it is not the wealthy nor other elite which pays the price, but ordinary people like you and us.

All our people are refugees from the raging House Wars. Some of us have fled Bretonian space via planet Leeds and Holman Outpost. Others come a long way from Liberty and Rheinland, in search of freedom, independance from wars and suffering, corruption and lies. Hungry, weakened, far from our homes, we have been tempted to engage in piracy, to survive. Some of us did, and weve never heard from them since then. Many more others died. We are whats left of the last wave of Bretonian and Libertonian refugees. We want to start a new life. We want to work hard to rebuild our homes.

Since then, we have not stopped mining niobium, achieving contracts for important Guild Members for the transport of niobium and gold ore, and defending harassed IMG traders and miners. It seems we see a lot of us in these people, hard workers, proud of being free, with the will of creating a great organization, which will be able to sustain its own needs without the false help of any House. We can only hope they see the same in us.

As Independant Miners, we have had the need to defend ourselves against piracy and terror. A lot of times. Many of us died in the Tau Mining Fields, while confronted to exploding gases and harassing Outcasts. We had to unite, in order to survive. As the IMG was busy with other matters, we took up the arms ourselves, uniting in the Tau Mining Guild [TMG]. You have to understand i would not be here now, telling you this, if we had not done something to defend ourselves.

Our goals are the same: being able to protect our miners and traders in the Tau Systems, Bretonia, the Omega's and on edge of Kusari Space. We escort convoys in trips to Liberty and other Borderworlds too. We have cargo ships, which mine Gold Ore, Niobium and Beryllium, and transport them to and from IMG bases. As Refugees, we have seen the worst horrors. People being taken as slaves! We vote against slavery, cartels, piracy and criminality within the Tau borders. It seems your people are eager to welcome us, i can only hope your organization will think the same way.

The Newly Arrived Tau Miners have asked me to deliver you this message, humbly asking for your response, and your expertise: we would like to work for the IMG by providing a fixed share of the cake and helping out with what we have learned untill now, providing protection when needed, and general help to all IMG, and other independant miners in need. In exchange, we would like to keep our small union, because we feel we share one common thing: the same feeling of loss, of despair, which now has left us for new feeling of hope. We are family, we have survived hell together, helping each other. Deep feelings of trust have established themselves. We cannot forget that. But we want to start a new life here within your frontiers; when the time is right, and our sadness has passed, maybe will we be ready to forget the past, which binds us into the Tau Mining Guild, TMG.

So let me get this straight... you're refugees who are banding together under a single banner and wish to use our bases and do what we do?

Why on earth don't you just join us? I mean, we have enough various factions around the Tau's, and more leaders and people to please just gives me a headache.

If you want to do what we do, the IMG are always looking for new members.
