"Due to increasing demand for logistics and infrastructure in the Okinawa system, the GMG is pleased to announce that the following business opportunities are now open for tender:
1) Import markets for foodstuffs.
2) Construction of community facilities and infrastructure on Planet Miura.
Business concerns wishing to submit a tender need to address the following items:
1) Cost
2) Volume
3) Food security (short and long term)
4) Compliance with Guild laws and contracts
It would appear I let my temper get the better of me. I apologise, but seeing so many farmers out of work each day, and the syth scourge raining down on Kusari's planets is highly upsetting.
I shall try to state our needs in a more buisness like mannar, after all we are reprsenting the Farmers of Kusari.
We will supply you with Food Rations from our Nagano headquarters, since this is where we stockpile much of the real food produced by our members. It is a short trip for us, and as such we shall charge very little for this.
However, this must be a ...how do you say ? ....exclusive contract ? . We do not want any Synth Food Vessels to be coming to Kusari in order to supply you. We will be upset if we agree to supply you, only to find you working with our enemy also.
The Farmers of Kusari are a legitimate.

Kusari politics are not our concern. We are entertaining serious bids here. Should you, or any other applicant, be able to cover all the points raised in the tender, then an exclusive contract can be issued to the winning party.
The Guild has a history of preferred contract partners, I do not see this history being changed.
Please note though, that informal outbursts of the kind we have just witnessed do not promote confidence among our members. I would strongly advise the AFA to adhere to proper business etiquette in their formal tender submission.
We will supply your with food rations - in line with your requirments as follows
Cost: 100 SC per Unit. Thats significantly less than Synth Foods
Volume: We have a large fleet of transports at our disposal. Voulme delivered will be greater than that of Synth Foods we can assure you.
Food security (short and long term): We are very nearby, we will always be able to supply food when needed. ANd given the short distances required, there is very little risk of interception.
Compliance: We will comply with your laws, whilst in your space.

Greetings Guildmasters, I am glad to hear that your progress in Okinawa is moving forward. As you well know, Zoners provide many factions with food stuffs, it is only logical that we provide one of our closest friends with food also no? Here is our bid.
1) Cost:
100sc per unit. This barely covers the fuel to move it from our closest stations to Okinawa; however, returning to our stations laden with quality GMG H-Fuel more than covers the costs of the trip and makes us a tidy profit.
2) Volume
Both the OSI and ZTC's transport fleet would be used to ensure your people have food on their table.
3) Food security (short and long term)
As you know, the Freeports in Omicron Theta and Omicron-74 have many many fully functional bio-domes and Freeport 2 has some also. Our food supplies don't run dry. If this contract is given to OSI then we would likely help fund the construction of new bio-domes to further our ability to supply both the GMG and our other clients.

We here at Synth Foods constantly strive to meet these increasing demands by providing quality products and services; this presents us with an opportunity to expand our services into new territories, with the heartfelt hopes of allowing new customers the chance to experience the next generation of food products. It is with great confidence that I say Synth Foods can fulfill, and exceed, the needs of your request with guaranteed deliveries by our experienced transport division, as well as guarantee quality items and sundries for the day-to-day lives on the frontier. As per your request, we will itemize our proposal to better detail the benefits of choosing Synth Foods as your food provider:
1. Cost
With the Sigma systems but a handful of jumps away from Planet Stuttgart, our primary production location, Synth Foods can provide a stable supply of basic food items at an agreeable price of 40 credits per cargo unit. For the more discerning tastes, we also offer a range of luxury food items for those special occasions where a good presentation will make a lasting impression. As always, our prices are negotiable.
2. Volume
The primary bulk of Synth Foods' transport division is comprised of container vessels classified in the 'Super Heavy' range, with cargo space measuring from 4000 to 5000 units. Synth Paste, our top-selling product, makes efficient use of each cargo unit by holding a bulk-size quantity of tubes designated for distribution into the market. Suffice it to say, you will be getting more than what you paid for.
3. Food Security
Synth Foods guarantees a steady and punctual supply of all its food items; 'fresh' is the name of the game here, and our products are the most shelf-stable on the market. Due to the relative proximity of your facilities, any updates and/or changes to inventory will be relayed immediately and be reflected in the next scheduled shipment.
For long-term goals, Synth Foods is proud to offer its expansive line of Bio-Domes. Ranging from small, one-acre units to massive commercial facilities, Synth Foods Bio-Domes are top-of-the-line and come backed with our full lifetime warranty. All materials and construction labor will be provided by Synth Foods, the customer needs only to tell us where to build it.
4. Compliance with Guild Laws and Contracts
Due to our multi-House market, Synth Foods takes great care to observe and obey local regulations and law enforcement. We will freely negotiate contract details to provide a win-win situation for all of our customers. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about our products and services, feel free to contact our customer support line.
Synth Foods would like to thank you in advance for your consideration, and eagerly await your reply.
William Cooper, Vice President
Synth Foods Inc.
Maybe some day, they'll see a hero is just a man who knowshe's free.
Firstly let us apologize for approaching the guild this late in the proceedings: our convoy was held up, firstly by what may have been careless Synth foods transports crashing into ours; damaging our out-board comm systems. During the stop for repairs we were attacked by mercenaries identified to be using liberty based communication frequencies. However, we have made it to a station with the necessary equipment. With the advent of synthetic produce-farming and the green revolution, organic farming was relegated to the status of "quaint" or "old-fashioned" - something practiced by hippies on communes, certainly not by serious farmers.
Organic farming is rooted in ancient knowledge passed down through generations. Long before science could tell us why certain farming methods would produce greater crop yields, organic farmers were learning the hard way what worked and what didn't - and sharing their knowledge with others.
Many organic practices simply make sense, regardless of what overall agricultural system is used. Far from being a quaint throwback to an earlier time, organic agriculture is proving to be a serious contender in modern farming and a more environmentally sustainable system over the long term.
Synth-Foods are playing Russian roulette with features of Stuttgarts atmosphere that will profoundly impact generations to come. How long are they willing to gamble?
It is vitally important that we can continue to say, with absolute conviction, that organic farming delivers the highest quality, best-tasting food, produced without artificial chemicals or genetic modification, and with respect for animal welfare and the environment, while helping to maintain the landscape and rural communities. For thousands of years, mankind has harvested the good, wholesome produce of the earth; lovingly and carefully planned and prepared: each sheaf of wheat, each fat marrow attended throughout its journey from seedling to our hungry bellies.
These traditional methods, handed down over countless generations, have been tested and perfected: proving time and time again that there is no substitute for naturally grown produce. 1) Cost. Being from good salt of the earth stock, the WVS would like to assure you that our prices reflect the quality and nutritional content of our produce, to say nothing of the benefits to family units in the act of food preparation; with that in mind our Cost per unit would be: 150 cr
2) Volume. Our main distribution vessels are heavily armoured, dependable Behemoths and large civilian transports. Whilst this fleet may not be able to move as much cargo simultaneously: it does seem to suffer few pirate attacks, whilst being hardy enough to survive some of the rougher reaches of space. You can depend on our ships to get through every time.
3) Food Security. Naturally grown, harvested and reared produce, as you are no doubt aware, depend on the natural flow and ebb of weather and seasons. Our gross stock is variable based on each sectors' farm performance each quarter; our predicted crop intake is featured each quarter in the crop report.
4) Compliance with Guild Laws and Contracts. The WVS strive to breach barriers and reach horizons that other agriculturalist groups may not; and so it is with this bold political step forward that we would like to extend this gesture of good-faith on behalf of our brothers and sisters who have been robbed of their livelihoods, and those who still hold true to their traditional ways. The WVS foresee no potential breach of Guild Law, although there are certain companies that the guild deal with that our pilots may not get along with, we will advise all escorts and shippers to avoid any hostilities whilst in transit to Guild stations.
The WVS appreciates your consideration in this matter and regrets the tardiness of this tendered proposal.
