If they really make it free for all and Discovery Devs won't use just for being "unique" Discovery will die pretty soon. We all love roleplay. Many of us doesn't need some graphic wonders but lets be honest - this game is getting old. This can be great chance to give Freelancer Discovery new fuel to next years.
Agree with Pilgrim, although I love Discovery, a few updates in these departments really wouldn't hurt, we're not taking stuff from other mods, the Freelancer is small enough as it is to have rivalry and stubborness, we need to use each others tech to work as a team to keep the Freelancer community alive.
