You expected better from me? Better would have been killing you outright for being the murdering piece of remorseless trash your Harvester represents to every law abiding citizen of Liberty.
I'm going to ignore the insane discrepancy between what you said in game and what you're saying now. Let's focus on what you're saying now. You failed to drop the items in your hold. That's lovely. That's your responsibility. You didn't drop them. I'm going to respond to them. Dropping items from one's cargo hold isn't hard. Heck, you can do it with the mashing of a few buttons.
But you abstained from doing so, apparently you abstained from doing so in order to flame people on the forum at a later time. But because you still had the in your cargo hold I am going to respond to their presence in the appropriate fashion.
They did exist. You yourself confirmed they existed due to your negligence. In this example it would seem prudent that I encourage you to pay attention in the future.
If you have an item in your cargo hold it can be detected and will be responded to in appropriate fashion. That's the lesson of this thread.
On a more serious note, there's absolutely no discrepancy between what I said ingame and what I'm saying now. Mainly because you killed me before I was able to say anything. I did, in my last post, confirm they existed. OORPly. Since, in-RP, they had been processed into liquid. Try actually reading next time. And perhaps you should have destroyed me then and there. I was a harvester in Liberty, and regardless of my individual actions or motives, Harvesters don't exactly have the best reputation, especially in Liberty. Though I'll have you know, one of the Directors of the official LSF faction understood my RP perfectly, with two lines, and cleared me to go. You, an indy LSF, didn't even bother asking why I had them. You said drop them. I said that they didn't exist in a form that could be detected anymore inrp, and then said oocly I was typing something. You then blew me up, and sent me all the way back to Delta. I'm not trying to flame, I'm trying to point out that I expected better from someone as well known as you.
This has been an incoherent rant brought to you by Kaiwren. Remember, a middle finger from me means that you suck!

Actually, what he says does make sense, and if people wonderend why you made this thread without telling people what the exact situation really was, now that also makes sense.

As far as I can tell, chosing to not drop items that are in your possession is valid RP.

Erm...
Who made this thread? Him or you?
He is defending himself against the rant thread that you made, not vice-versa.

I think it was not "negligence" of him to "admit" that he has cargo which you obviously saw, he just explained that he is RPing them as liquified harvester-snacks, something which apparently made you say make this thread leaving out half the information.
Dusty_Lens Wrote:In this example it would seem prudent that I encourage you to pay attention in the future.
You know, you can encourage him if you want, but personally I wouldnt listen to you either. You can look up my previous post to figure out which one of the scenarios applies here.
I love how the lawfuls in here are throwing around words like "powergaming". How is it not powergaming to have a scanner that can see anything on a ship, despite ROLEPLAYING on a ROLEPLAY server that it's hidden? And taking even a single freaking unit of contraband. I mean seriously?
Bah hypocrites, I'm just going to follow up on Joe's advice and shoot you Harvesters whenever you enter Liberty.
Feel free to deny the existence of my character in order to follow the same line of thought you folks have been using in this thread regarding items and their respective quantities.
Shame you still have to face that respawn button.:(
But imagine if you actually managed to "ignore the existence" of that as well, then perhaps we won't see any bitching after a defeat in combat.
This is all I was trying to explain. They are now liquid. No longer something scanners would be able to detect. They were still in my cargo hold OORP, note, OORP because I forgot to drop them. It isn't a very hard concept.
So you did an error and forgot to drop them and rather than try to roleplay your way out of it, like when I went AFK in Xeno space with my Liberty Rogue Slave Liner (I wonder, is the XA Slave Liner ''Heritage'' still alive?), you just go ''//It's here, but not here. Duuuh.''
Solution: Don't keep cargo in your hold and if you do, assume the consequences.
Cam Wrote:People complain at me all the time because I dont carry crew in my cargo hold in my juggy.
My response is
"I am far too nice a captain to keep my crew in the cargo bay, they deserve some comforts"
That usually shuts em up, I hate people that try to dictate RP.
To which I respond:
Nobody is going to trade a commodity which has a 100 credit profit at its highest yield, and it is therefor present for use as a RP representation of your crew.
