By putting Theta behind a gigantic warzone and minefield and making it necessary to run a blockade or go through back door guard systems to get to the lower Omicrons. Before Eta was installed the Omicrons were one big unit. Now Eta divides it.

I always thought that for Rheinland/Libery and Kusari/Bretonia, their SHOULD be a more visible division.
Lots of times you can walz throuh texas to hamburg and back without ever guessing that there was a war going on.
About dividing the omicrons and Outcasts going to theta, I just came form a thread where someone complained that Outcasts always used FP9 to stage against Gamma in 4.84:P
But I agree that eta isnt the best system around. The mine field is kinda too big considering it was layed by OC/CO, which arent exactly the biggest houses around.
I would think using omicron beta as a warzone system would be better, except that its too small since its a SP vanilla system (many of those systems that dont have tradelanes are too small).
I still think warzones would be a nice addition for the times when you want to pvp a little more without having to look around in an enemies capital system to find it. You would know there are these warzone systems, filled with people who also wnat to do Pvp in a RP context, or at least where the people inside accept that someone wants to pvp without shouting at them.
' Wrote:You're right. It doesn't work. You come up with something better which helps to prevent completely roleplayless people in very big ships visably doing extremely stupid things.
At least I'm trying something.
I'm willing to take suggestions though. Perhaps you should PM them to me.

As such, the numbers are not as large as you are claiming.
Funny, we did and do that, any other NEW suggestion about what we should do?
' Wrote:Ever thought about making systems where they can do just that, so they dont do it in other systems?
You could declare certain systems RP warzone systems where people can re-engage, attack without RP, caps can shoot traders, and people dont whine about ganking and lack of RP all the time. OOC banter would still be against rules there, but some engagement rules would be out of effect their.
That would keep people who feel like doing IRP PvP without being forced into too much RP out of New York, for example.
I got the idea from the Order/BHG/Nomads, the Corsair/Outcast, and the RM/Navy event.
It was totally amazing how well people got along without all those rules, and how fun and intense the game experience became, both PvP and RP-wise.
You could declare Hudson the LN/RM warzone, Minor or Iota the ORder warzone, Leeds the Kusari/Bret warzone.
To avoid confusion, you could make an automated message that you get when you enter the system and that says "WARNING: you have entered a warzone. Re-engagement, attacks without RP, and trader engagemnet rules do not apply here. Out of character speech is still not allowed".

I'm not going to read through the slush of liquefied refuse present in this thread, so I'll just reply to Joe directly: Everybody else in disco is exposed to this kind of crap at one point or another, your situation is hardly unique.
And now that I've said that I'm going to cover any possible topics that has been brought up in this thread:
1. Restricting Outcast Guard IDs is a bad idea because some people don't purchase them because they want a capital ship. If you intend to change the Outcast Guard ID, then the Corsair Guard ID must be changed as well so that their lolwuts are restricted to the Omicrons as well.
2. The Liberty Rogues generally gets a nice fat Outcast lulwut to shoot from time to time, and I'm okay with that solution since there really isn't much that can be done about lulwuts moving into Liberty... And why is that, I hear you asking? Well... I can't ban people from doing something which they are entitled to do according to Outcast roleplay. Now, don't get me wrong I would like to punish them, but the admins aren't the ones to allow such things.
3. If the Outcast indies in Liberty are removed they will merely move over to a group which you cannot force out of Liberty... such as the Liberty Rogues. Sure, only might claim that the indies are only playing as Outcast (down in Liberty) because of the Kraken, Inferno and Sabre... but the truth of the matter is that they are more often than not inside a Tridente gunboat... and on a rare occasion a Storta, Sarissa or Ranseur. They'd have no trouble moving over to a Scylla or Liberty Rogue Gunboat along with a Rogue ID.
I for one endorse the idea of more battleships, platforms, wrecks and minefields along the liberty-rhineland border. There is right now NOTHING preventing our fleets from pouring through straight into new berlin. We don't even have to take the back route through quebec. And no one enters those systems, which makes them useless...
