Well mate, sometimes getting stuff from factions is more about RP than OP'd PvP setups. Me, as member of RR, would indeed defend this. But nonetheless, I own a KuEx that have full LR turrets and merc ID (no RR ship). I got the turrets just to show very clear my stance with my LR contractors. Everybody knows LR ones aren't the best turrets so far, if you get what I mean.
It's just an example. Hope you understood it finally.

But is relevant because the problem becomes far worse when done in large quantities in a group, and is one that must be addressed.

That's fine; if you're a mercernary affiliated strongly with LR(alliance, contracts etc.), its okay. However, you should stick to that; if you're going to be running amok in Rheinland and other systems doing nothing for your contractors, it becomes somewhat irritating, and leads to the 'pewpew' accusations, as you've been seeing.
If you've got the equipment, be responsible for it. We don't want to see you taking Rheinland lawful equipment and using it to fight the RM, and their allies and so on. Don't use your tech where you simply shouldn't. Okay, you may be prevented partially by the nerf system, but that is besides the point.
LR have no business in Corsair space, just as Corsairs have no business in LR space. We respect that in regards to IDs, but you don't wish to in regards to tech, which just seems to ask for pewpew.
It becomes worse for you when it is Order tech, Sammaels and other equipment which is seen as top-of-the-range.
You're limited less than others, so I feel that you should respect that freedom.
So stop arguing about which guns are better and go shoot each other and find out how "good" they are.
Doesn't matter if RR has ships and guns from all over Sirius and Gallia, they can die if you use teamwork.
In fact, once I get my guns, I could just break the contract and become an independent pirate. Then, LR would become hostil to me, and they would engage me. I would shoot them with their guns. Aswell as I would shoot any lawful or pirate who I want to get on.
It makes perfect sense as far as it's InRP. That's our case. I don't see your point. Again, once you "earn" the tech, the old ZoI restrictions somehow dissapear, and the new ZoI becomes the one you chose.
Edit: Aclaration, ZoI stuff for factions, of course.

But it still applies, and it is an issue, and this is the relevant place to inform them of this. So why can I not ask them to step up to the responsibility of it?

heuheuheuheuheuheu
Yeah, thanks for that.

But you would be in Rheinland, so there are no repercussions. So you get free tech.
Its fine for you to affiliate yourselves with one or two factions to back you with tech and bases, but not that many and with such a huge amount of tech. Especially Order.

Well, you can. I however don't think they perceive their already nerfed tech as overpowered.
Actually I can't recall a faction that actually acknowledged their gear as OP.
