Good morning, Admiral Anderson.
I hearby submit my application for the Primary Fleet of the Liberty Navy.
It's been a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be when I signed on to the Secondary two months ago, and I think I could make a living doing this for a long time. Which is quite startling, seeing how I been a gypsy most my life.
Anyhow, I have aided Commander Cain of the Oakland multiple times in the past, should you need a witness as to my professionalism.
And you request a background, right? Well then. On with it.
As you might have guessed from my name, I am in fact an expatriate from Bretonia. I was born fourty-two years ago on Trafalgar. My dad was a Molly, and mum a good old Junkess. I grew up there for the most part, spending the occasional half-year on London for the summer months. At 16 I got a job as a dock worker, and by 17 managed to grub up enough cash for a CSV. I quit working the docks then, and spent the next two years hauling in scrap from the fields, untill I earned quite enough to see me off well wherever I chose to go. I blasted out of Trafalgar, and in the intervening twenty or so years I've been across most of Sirius. I traded the house circuits with Bowex for a while, learned how to mine diamonds from some Daumann folks, led a protest against the pollution on Leeds with some peacenik Gaians (not the hardcore piraty ones, those blokes are nasty), buggered the nasty jack out of the RM and got kicked out of the Rhein for making fun of their strudel, spent a few years plowing the Omicrons trading with the Zoners, beat the bloody blue out of some Nomads out in Delta working with the Order, 'ell, I even spent three years on Crete fighting Outcasts as a mercenary in the Hispanic Wars. To be short, I've been halfway across Sirius and back, and I know which way the wind blows. And I would most sincerely appreciate being accepted into you august organization.
Regards,
Ian Holmes

Bio
I was born in one of Denver's larger cities and had a relatively average upbringing and education. Much like my sister I spent much of my childhood fascinated by the wonders of space, but for me the interest was not in cosmology but in the mechanics and joys of space flight. For a young boy in Liberty, there seems much glory to be had in piloting your very own fighter and for my entire life I was hooked on the idea that one day I would be up there amongst the stars. As soon as I got out of school I sought my ticket to the heavens and started work at a small private security firm based close to where we were living at the time. The majority of the work was on the surface but occasionally we would be called to escort small freighters across the dangerous lanes of Colorado. I remember my first flight in perfect detail, the taste of recycled air from the oxygen scrubber, the slow and persistent whine of the generator, the sound of a firing laser cannon echoing throughout the hull. However, as much as I enjoyed my work I knew I had only scratched the surface of an truly amazing endeavour, and this is why I come to you. I want to join the Navy to to experience the full extent of my capabilities as a pilot, and to make my great house of Liberty proud.
Faction recruitment has been temporarily closed. All posts after this will not be considered, however, applications that have already been submitted will be evaluated.

Previuos Fields of work: I've been working half-time in restourant for six months now. Delivering food here and there to the costumers who ordered it.
Experience: none in flying spacecrafts.
I was born and grown up in Houston. In a lower social class neighbourhood. My father, simple worker of one of the ship equipment shops in the area (Note: not spacecrafts equipment) divorced with my mother than I was about six years old. By the courts dicision I was let to live with my father. I must say he was a good father, but due the work couldn't pay much attention to me. From these circumstances that I have it's obviuos that I've needed to learn to live alone. At the age 7 to I attented primary school. With some effort managed to get in the high school later. Graduating wasn't that easy, becouse in the last year I was left to repeat the course. After graduating 2 years ago I entered Ron Mickins's collage of Physics. Yet found myself thrown our at the end of the second semester which led to the recent position I am in at the moment. Delivering pizza.
Father wasn't happy about my current state. And offered for me to enroll into navy. He said that I have a lot of good traits for it. Patriotic, firmly-moral, thoughful about others. Inspired by him I'm applying now.
Also, I think you'll find out some bad things about me yourself. My name figures in some law violation related cases. But, despite one of them, all are administrative law violations. Which shouldn't drasticly change my position or my application. And that other case, I was arrested for murder. I won't go into details, I'm sure that you will check them yourself. Most important thing is that jury, becouse of reasonable doubt, decleared me being not guilty. So my records technicly are clean.
Also I'm adding my personal communication contacts SKYP-3: kurnubego
I'm looking forward to hear the answer,
With all respect, R. Coldwin
// also, sorry people. I haven't checked the last post before I posted. Only saw that "now open" in the recruitment thread description. My bad.

Short Biography:
Good day Admiral.
Well, what can I tell you.. I come from a family of traders, yes traders, a very exciting line of work you might think... if you were living under a rock. Well I never did like it, and never will. Oh no, life holds something far better for me, I can tell you that. But anyway, when I was old enough I went through basic flight and combat training, my father didn't like it one bit, "Boy you will join the family business, I am your father and you will do as I say." Well you can imagine I didn't much like that idea, so at the age of 20 I flew my little ship away from home. Hah I barely managed to scrape enough credits to purchase that old Hawk, she was a beauty in my eyes tho. Anyway my adventure didn't last long tho, as I was on my way to a new exciting life of a freelancer my ship was shot down by some pirate band, didn't even have the time to get a good look at them.Barely survived that one, if a trader didn't come along and collected my pod well... The trader as it turned out was a friend of my father. Well, I will spare you the family drama of me coming back to Denver, but suffice to say the next few years I did get to fly escort for my folks at least. Heh now that I look back at it, that was quite foolish what I did, but it helped shape me to what I am today, and I like what I am today. But I think it's time to move on now, the proper way, I wish to join the navy and serve my house. I know what's out there, I know Liberty has a lot of enemies and that's why I wish to join the greatest military in Sirius, the Liberty Navy, to protect and to serve, for honor and glory, for... err... the people and... well you won't regret if you accept me.

Your application has been [color=#33FFFF]accepted.
Let me be the first to congratulate you into joining the Liberty Navy Primary Fleet. My name is Lieutenant Tippman and I am looking forward to flying with you in the field. I am pleased to see that you have the sort of bravery and luck to survive something that most pilots could not, and I bet you are quite a shot, however you will have to prove that to me in the field of battle.
Please outfit your Executioner class vessel, using our naming convention [LN]-Firstname.Lastname. You will also be required to acquire the proper Liberty Navy Guard IFF and ID transponders. After a trial of 8 hours of flight in those, and with the transponders set, you will be promoted to Ensign, and join the real ranks of the Navy.
Report to Admiral Anderson for briefing and your Official Naval Pilot Manuel ASAP
