As he took her hand, everything started to feel strange. Everything around the Doctor Holliday started to collapse into tiny blocks of matter falling in a dark black void untill a white flash blurred his vision.
A Virulian enclave transport vessel came along the port side of the Med Force One, in preparation to transport over materials and equipment of Virulian nature to assist Doc in his ever continuing quest of peace and hope amongst the stars. A few Virulian doctors came aboard also and offered their assistance for the span of a week or two, in appreciation to the fact that MF1 had seen many Virulians over the course of the Enclave's existence.
Arch Priestess Nashida Rheinheld stepped off the ship and onto Med Force One. She took in all that it was, the immensity of such a ship, and the mission it was dedicated to.

A middle aged, balding man in a doctor's outfit greeted the well dressed woman. As he wasn't much of a diplomat and didn't deal much with communications off of the ship and didn't really no who she was, he extended his hand to her in friendship. He was accompanied by a Klingon Guard.
"Greetings, Ma'am, I am Doctor Edward Tesh, Chief Medical Officer here aboard the ship," he announced.
"You will have to forgive me as I'm not as informed as my boss is on visitors aboard ship."
The guard spoke to him, "That, Doctor, is a member of the Virulian Enclave, a friend of Doctor Hollidays."
"Ah!" said Tesh, "then welcome aboard. Since Dr. Holliday isn't available right now, how may I be of service?"
The Arch Priestess bowed slightly as she acknowledged both the guard and the doctor. "It's a pleasure to meet you." she spoke softly, but with great fervor. She was a little perplexed at the Klingon, having not seen on of his kind before. The state of question was quickly gone from her as she turned back and smiled. "As your counterpart has said, I am a member of the Virulian Enclave. I am Arch Priestess Nashida Rheinheld, of the Animus Caste of the Enclave. I have come to meet Doctor Holiday to discuss some matters regarding Canaria's future."
She then turned to her counterparts that were bringing supplies through the boarding area. The were moving medical equipment, some that would seem rather alien and extremely mechanical in comparison to Sirian technology. Sleek in design, but as if it contained no real technology at all, boxes of medical nanites were being brought onboard, with a variety of other equipment. There number about 5 volunteer doctors from the Virulians amongst them.
She stretched out a hand in their direction and continued, "These are volunteer physicians of the Animus Caste also. They heard of my trip to meet with the good Doctor and offered to come along, to gain a chance to see this famed ship and maybe learn some new medical techniques to take back to the colony on the surface. And in return, to offer their assistance and maybe impart some of our knowledge."

"It is an honor to have you aboard, Arch Priestess," greeted Dr. Tesh with a smile, "I'm sure John will be back soon enough."
He looked around to see the many supplies coming on board. He smiled a bit, always greatful to have the equipment and supplies. He also greeted each of the accompanying physicians.
"I know we will learn much from one another," he said to the group, "that is a big part of this ship, learning from all we encounter and research."
He made a motion to the doorway which left the room, "If you like, I can give you a tour until Dr. Holliday returns. There is much to see."
((Sorry, been finishing up the semester of school... time to kick this into high gear again, especially with the new Gallic news))
Nashida smiled a bit and gave a slid nod of acknowledgement. She was a bit dissappointed that the Doctor wasn't there, as this was a very sensitive matter and quite time relative too. Nevertheless, she didn't allow for these emotions to be shown.
"I would be most delighted. Just I hope that Doctor Holliday does understand the importance of this matter and that he does return soon."

Dr. Tesh showed the Arch Priestess around the ship. The surgical wards, research labs, engineering, the bridge and even the Pleasantview Lounge. But, he knew what she was after, what she arrived on ship for and he took her to the secure area of the ship. Quietly, he hoped that Doc himself would arrive. He knew he was busy...very busy....and had been away for days.
"Arch Priestess," he explained, "through these doors, through these guards is where the deepest secrets of Med.Force.One are kept. It is also where John spends a lot of his time. Only a handful of personnel are granted access to this area. You should feel honored that he has authorized you to see it."

He came out of the surgical ward after yet another long session of work.
"Night, Pam," he said to one of the nurses as he began the long walk back to his chambers for paperwork.
It was then he heard a familiar voice behind him, "Excusez moi, Monseiur." The voice was calm and Doc turned to him.
"Qu'est-ce qui, Commandant?" Doc replied.
The Gallic commander smiled, "OK..I sometimes forget that you speak my language fluently."
He then sighed, "Listen, I know you don't trust me and well, I can understand why but, I'm not here for that. I heard that one of my men finally came out of his coma today."
"You heard correct, Commandant," Doc answered in a soft, tired tone, "follow me."
"Oui, Monsieur," replied the Commandant. Together, the two men made their way into a room where another Gallic pilot lay resting but awake. Doc said nothing as he allowed the Commandant to see his young officer.
"Comment allez-vous?" he asked him, placing his hand on his arm. "Fatigue,"" he simply replied. It was then his eyes found the Sirian Doctor. He then began whispering to his commanding officer. After a minute, the officer then softly said to him, "Merci." "Interj,", was all he said. After a few minutes, John Holliday and the Gallic Commander left together.
"Listen, Doctor," he said, as the two men stopped and faced one another, "I will do my best to speak highly of you for what you have done. I only hope that it works in the face of hatred."
"Commander," replied Doc, "don't bother. The Princess is clouded by too much hate, the Crown much the same, for you to make a difference. I would much rather you go in and say what they want to hear, that I'm an immoral son-of-a-bitch." With that, Doc turned and headed for his office. The Commander stood, watching, until John Holliday was out of his sight.

Personal Medical Log:
I took care of the monthly check-up of Rika Dimitrov. Nothing unordinary. She will report to Baffin for her third month check-up. Her and Georgi will make fine parents.
He takes a quick look at a report on his desk
I want to resume my research on cardamine but I think I've run out of information in which to work. I never thought I'd say this but a Nomad would be a welcome thing right about now.
On a personal note, I'm feeling better rested with some time at home. Midori and I keep trying.

[TAZ]Med.Force.Two
The ceremony took place in a large conference room of Med.Force.One. From it's windows was the perfect overlook of Gran Canaria. The usual traffic of Zoner patrols came to and from the docking rings as did some traders in the system. Off in the distance, the common battle between a Corsair and Bounty Hunter patrol raged on, both common patients on the ship.
Present in the room were the staff Commander, James Haddock, Dr. Edward Tesh, Dr. John Holliday, some other senior staff members and a young but accomplished Zoner lieutenant, Sarah Coyle. She also didn't have a clue to the promotion to which she was about to receive. Of Libertonian heritage, she was duty minded and very no-nonsense, attributes that made her an accomplished cruiser commander.
Moored to Med.Force.One was the Corvo cruiser, Med.Force.Two. Lt. Coyle had accompished the task over taking delivery of the cruiser to include getting the requested supplies for the ship with only a few engineers to finalize the many details of the ship. It was mostly medical in design with the only labs for bloodwork and such. While it's mission was much the same, it's orders would be slightly different.
It's mission? To provide hope where little exists!
John Holliday called the meeting to order.
"Good Afternoon, Everyone," he began in a pleasant mood, "I do hope that the tour of our latest addition, Med.Force.Two, went well. I am very satisfied with it."
He then looked to Lt. Coyle, "Well done, Lieutenant."
"Thank you," she replied with a light smile.
"I ordered a lunch for us all which will be delivered here in about twenty minutes," Doc continued, "while we wait, we can wrap up any business we may have." He then looked to his chief medical officer. "Edward?"
"A very well designed ship," commented Dr. Tesh about the cruiser, "with the com array on it, any information between ships can be exchanged."
Doc then looked to Haddock. "James?"
"I concur with Edward," he stated, "well designed and the bridge was well laid out as well. Whoever commands it will have a fine ship."
Doc then looked around, "Anyone else?" After a brief silence, Doc cleared his throat.
"Well then, let's continue," he said.
Commander Haddock pulled out his command whistle and blew it. The staff came to attention as did all present. He, John Holliday and Dr. Tesh stood in a line, shoulder to shoulder, there back to the window.
"Lt. Sarah Coyle, front and center," ordered John Holliday. She did so professionally, saluting her new boss, a salute he returned. He then took a thin folder from his inner robe sleeve, opened it and began reading. To all present. For a job well done on the delivery of our new clinic, past patrol peformances and exemplory work in a leadership capacity, I, Dr. John Henry Holliday, do promote Lieutenant Sarah Coyle to the rank of Commander. Signed by me on this day before the Goddess Eris and my fellow senior staff."
Haddock then opened a small box. After John removed the rank insignia from Sarah's uniform, he pinned the new Commander's pins in their place. He then saluted her.
"Congratulations, Commander Coyle," he said with a hand shake and then handing her a copy of the promotion orders.
"Commander Coyle," he continued, with your new rank comes new work. You will command Med.Force.Two according to the orders provided." He then handed her a set of orders. "I'm still arranging some diplomacy for travel purposes but for now, maintain a presence in the Taus, Baffin, Coronado and hopefully Bretonia."
"Thank you, Ambassador," she said smiling.
"The official commissioning ceromony of the ship will take place in Baffin once I get the chance," he added.
About this time, the food for the banquet arrived.
"Ah, good," he said, "Commander Coyle, we dine in your honor today."
