Dimitrov was in the center of the room thinking the plans those boys made up. He sighs and then he stands up looks to each and one of them and says.
"Its one of the Major Hacker bases in the area when you attack you will still have problems with some of their main fighter force and their reserve squadron. Now I offer this The Pacific has a Silent mode witch make it look like the ship is offline and not operational. If those transports are a trap and they blow up or something I dont know it will look like the Pacific I very damaged and it has no power. So the hackers will think about capturing the Pacific. Then Because they don't have the powerful ships to get the Pacific to their Base they have to launch most of their GB personal their Entire fighter squadron and Big part of the reserve fighters.
And the Valiant and Omha will have a easy ride to the base. Once you attack it we will jamm the transmissions in the vesinity of the Pacific so that way their Main group send to recover the Pacific. When we get the green light that angel is saved we will get the Pacific back online. And wipe everything around us. Whats left they will go to the base only to see it was attacked.
Then the Pacific will move to position and fire its torpedo and mortar cannons. If you have an chance to capture some one and he can give us a information on who is the person being the kidnap. because hackers don't spare people unless they are getting credits from somewhere so someone ordered this."
After all what Dimitrov said he seated back and waited for the others to respond. While they were still figuring out what they just heared.

[color=#FFFFFF]Captain Hughes looks a little uneasy. Matt looks very thoughtful while the rest of the Commanders and Captains murmur amongst themselves.
"It's risky Dimitrov?"
A couple of other commanders nod in agreement. Matt speaks up.
"It's perfect. That'll spring tha' trap. The Pacific will look down n'out. That'll get the Omaha and Valiant close enough tae launch our strike forces. My only concern C'ptain is that if ye head tae silent running - that means nae shields. Yer hull will get hit really hard. Yer best pilots will need tae provide ye with some sort of screen otherwise yer toast... Regardless of if ye get yer guns back up and online.
I propose a small change then, Strike 1 is tae stay on the Pacific and a decoy transport is sent instead. No doubt that if ye dae get boarded, you'll need some good Marines holding the vital areas o'tha ship. I'll launch Strike 2 from the Valiant as planned. Omaha will run the support against the enemy fighters and bombers and try to keep the main force from reaching you. That way it'll look like saving the Pacific is our top priority.
Say actually.. Dimitrov? D'ya have any tactical nukes onboard? I bet one of those would obliterate the station fae the Inside.. That way, if the Pacific does take a beating - we can still get the job done."
Matt shakes a little bit, having a nuke would actually save a lot of problems. The biggest problem would be trying to get the Pacific, underfire and most likely *on* fire to the base to blast it with it's mortars. If it could move, if it still had it's Mortars.
[color=#FFFFFF]Dimitrov sighted and called in the tactical officer with the a full inventory of the Pacific Nuclear arsenal. Moments lather the Officer entered and hand over the file and left. Georgi opened the file and started to read
" Tactical officer report on the Pacific Nuclear arsenal. Currently the Pacific has in its disposal 100 10 kiloton nuclear warheads, 30 50 Kiloton Nuclear warheads, and 5 150 kiloton warheads. Matt you realize that I cant spare much of those warheads without the proper permission. So pick one head and lets begin to prep. And dont worry the Pacific will do its job and only thing that can destroy the Guns of the Pacific is an other Battleship. So there is absolutely no problem. We will be there. "
Dimitrov trowed the file to Matt and he looked at him with his eye brawn raised.
[font=Courier New]LNS-Pacific, outside the Kansas Jump Hole
[color=#FFFFFF]Matt looks at the file on the Pacific's armory. The munitions on battleships like these were either configured for space-to-space or space-to-mud. Getting one to detonate on a timer wouldn't be an issue, but carting it onboard a space-station while under fire would be very tricky.
"I work out tha' logistics o'eet. One small nuke'll be enough. I dinnae need tha' larger ones. We'll get as deep as we can n'trigger it. Worst case, it only blows a chunk off tha' station. Best case, the whole thing goes. In fairness, our Dreadnaughts ain't exactly designed tae hold a nuclear blast unless it's in Main Engineering. I doubt those hackers will see it coming!"
Everyone else in the room nods their head, Matt looks around and check's his watch.
"Alreet then, we're done here aye? I'll make preparations on the Valiant. We strike in 12hours. Bring 'er home gents, n'blast those son's a bitches!"
The Captains and Squadron leaders depart, leaving Matt and Dimitrov in the room. He looks at him and takes a sip from the whisky bottle on the table.
"Dun worry pal, I'll bring 'er home. Even if I have tae blast tha' station apart piece by piece."
Another beep on the console, the latest SPY drone had transmitted final co-ordinates of an unknown structure before being destroyed. The hackers would know they are coming by now.
[color=#FFFF33]Battleship Pacific outside the Kansas Jump Hole
After Dimitrov hear Pal he raised his head and looked at Matt like he was about to punch him. He was utterly annoyed that he had to Take the Pacific back to Kansas Last time the ship was there it bearly got out from the hands of the Neon Terran Front the people who Dimitrov had respect and fear.
" Listen Matt I am not your Pal or kid or anything like that I want in the Moment is to get my sister out safe and sound and get out before the Neon Terran front comes and wipe us out you got that. "
Dimitrov took his bottle of whiskey and left the room it seemed that the pressure finally got up to him because he didn't had any rest the Pacific crew didn't had any rest sense The Pacific was commission'd . So it would seem that Dimitrov found the only escape from reality in the bottle. Deep inside of him he was crying that he did not help Angelina, he wanted all problems to go away the war all that. Matt saw that he was drunk and catch up again. He grabed him by the Arm and told him.
" Listen here I care about Angel as much as you do i bet I do even more, so you better pull yourself together and get a grip of yourself. Go have some sleep get solver for the operation or because of you we maybe gonna lose her you get me. "
Dimitrov looked at him and didnt say anything he just punched Matt. And Matt hit himself at the wall Georgi was pissed off and he continued beating Matt untill he punched him the eye leaving a bad bruse. Matt turn back and with his punch he give Georgi a nice hit. Georgi Was drunk and he decided to pull out his pistol and shoot Matt. But Matt saw when Georgi reached for his gun his bottle of whiskey fall down. He passed very easy Dimitrov gun sight and took the bottle and Hit him in the head. Dimitrov Fall down and Matt was kinda happy but when he looked at the Bottle he said:
" What the what a shame to waste such a good whiskey. "
Then He dragged Dimitrov to his Room on the Pacific and Went to organize.
[font=Courier New]LNS-Valiant, en-route to position Alpha
[color=#FFFFFF]Matt is sitting in Angelina's command chair on the Valiant. He's rubbing his face and refused an icepack from the medic. It wasn't his first rodeo. The one thing that the Denver Highlands taught you was toughness. Matt was picked on and bullied at school, it was only after spending several winters out in the cold of the Highlands that Matt toughened up. Although he was never a strong or well-built man - He could land a punch with precision. It was the second time in as much as a week he had beaten the crap out of a senior officer. Even though Dimitrov was clearly upset and had misjudged how much whisky he had consumed - he hoped he could pull it together for the strike.
"Helm, time?" "16.19" "Radio silence fae this point on, last coded message tae tha' Pacific - Isle of Jura 785 AS, his stuff's nae bad, but he should look fer a nicer malt" "That'll be all sir?" "Dimitrov'll get tha' hint."
He muttered under his breath, "Nae hard feelings bud"
"We got 10 minutes until stuff starts exploding. Sitrep, NOW!"
The various stations started calling in confirming green status. The Omaha chimed in to confirm it's status and the two Guardian squadrons with the two gunboats checked in. It was time for the Pacific to make it's move.
"If you screw this up Dimitrov, it's nae just tha' hackers that'll be after ye."
Nothing so far on the radar. This was to be expected, all they needed was the signal to begin their attack.
If Dimitrov could send it before being blown up, of course. Matt shuddered at the thought, the pieces were on the chessboard - The game was beginning.
[color=#FFFFFF]Dimitrov was on board still recovering from the hit but he was solver. Dimitrov ordered the Pacific to move to point Delta were the Pacfic shod be be. He keeped his eye on the Hud raidar when two contacts apeared. They were Liberty grizzly shuttle crafts, for a moment they wre nothing notnormal but when the radiological alermed started to ring those shuttles had nukes something that Dimitrov Havent predicted and by the time they know is was top late. The shutttles rammed to the Pacific and Blow themselfs up with a 15 Kiliton explosions the shuttles were two so the Entire nose section of the Pacfic was gone.
Dimitrov had a Situation he figured was done but not when a another two shuttles hit the Pacfic in the middle section this time with 20 kilotone explosion. It was Hell on the Pacific.
" Captain we have hull breaches on multible decks ! " " Captain Multible fires on 3 to 10 ! "
" Torpedo tubes down and hanger deck is almost gone sir "
Dimitrov was overwhelemed by the damage reports but the wepon systemes on the Pacific were operational and the comm system as well. Dimitrov ordered all cannons to open fire The Pacific managed to devastate the Hacker ships. When Dimitrov looked the radar and it was clear he asked his XO to give him a detailed damage report when the huud whe out of the crazy 58 ships apeared. Dimitrov knew his planed worked it was lclear the Hackers Send their Main squadron and a big part of the reserve force to finish off the job. It was time to give the signal to Matt .
" Send a coded tranmission to the Valiant tell them "The Dogs are after the Bone" "
"Aye sir "
The Comunication officer was one of the best and he send the message before th e Comunication array was destoyed. It was all down to Matt but Dimitrov was determent to get to that Base when Matt give the signal and destroy it. So Dimitrov told his officers.
" I want the Pacific to be ready to take down a Base and I want that comunication array to be online asap !"
[color=#FFFFFF]Luis, Maria and Jeffrey look out at the viewscreen to see the Pacific crippled after their grizzly nuclear strike. It appeared that perhaps too much damage to the Battleship was done, it's communications array had been obliterated.
"Initiate a hack of it's computer mainframe, send a direct message to Captain Dimitrov. Explain we have Miss Dimitrova. Explain that the only way he'll see her again is by giving us 200 million credits." "Hehehehehe..." "No Luis, Jeffrey will do it."
Jeffrey looked at the Pacific on the viewscreen, it had taken an extraordinary amount of damage. It was missing parts of it's nose section and it looked as if the whole of the docking bays had been ripped free from the vessel. A squadron if Maria's best Outcast Sabres were about to meet the stricken vessel, backed up by the Kansas Hacker Guard. It would have no chance.
"Nothing, it's not responding" "Board it then. Make Captain Dimitrov respond"
They looked back to the viewscreen, The Pacific had turned it's back to the oncoming fighters so that it's Primary Aft turrets could be used. With it's main weaponry currently offline, these were the only guns capable of defending the mighty ship. A gunship was flanking the ship and broke through the firing arc's of the Dreadnought. It sped upto it's maximum speed and crashed into what was left of the Pacific's docking bays.
"Perfect."
Several new blips appeared on the radar, Luis was the first to react to them.
"Red dots red dots red dots red dots!! LOTS OF THEM!"
---
[font=Courier New]LNS-Valiant
[color=#FFFFFF]It was the first chance Matt had of laying eyes back on the Pacific since the morning, and it looked a mess. Fighters were swarming it and the once gleaming vessel was quickly being reduced to a smoldering wreck. Matt looked on in horror.
"Status o'tha Pacific NOW!" "It's shields are offline, heavy damage to it's front and dorsal sections. It's firing all it's aft cannon's and from these power readings, Dimitrov's shunted all reactor power to the aft guns. It's putting up a hell of a fight."The Comm officer said. "Buggerit, Keep Red Wing with us and get the Omaha and the rest of our fighter squadron's over there to help out." "Sir, one wing of fighters and the Valiant are no match for..." "Do it! I'll bloody take control of tha' helm if ye dinnae do it lad!"
Matt moved over to the Engineering station, his background was one of Science, Physics and Engineering - much like his mother. He did everything conceivable to try and route as much power as possible to the forward shields.
"Use the pulses, hit the docking bays!"
The Valiant roared towards the Station, it's turrets and the weapons platforms surrounding it spat fire towards the little gunboat. It rocked back and forth, avoiding much of the fire aimed at it. Red Wing pulled ahead and starting shooting back at the platforms and turrets. Eventually, they would be overwhelmed.
"One of the docking ports just went offline, the pulse hit did it!" "Red wing cover us, Strike 2 to Airlock 1 - Ensign Michaels, with me! Roy, get us docked before we get blasted!"
Laser and missile flew out at the station as the Valiant nestled at the offline docking port. A hard seal was confirmed as the marines then blew the hatch and stormed onto the station. Red wing tried to keep the fire off the gunboat for as long as they could.
"Red one to Valiant, it's no good - we can't stay here. We have to get.. *ssshhhh* Ahh! I've been hit, argh.. We gotta get outta here!" "Lt Smith to Valiant and Red wing, we're on the station. Get clear now! Make sure ye come bloody back fer us."
Matt raised his Vengeance rifle down the corridor. Angel was on the station somewhere, but where? The Station was huge, and dangerously more powerful than they thought. The battle raging outside would be a lost cause if they did not act quickly.
The First Officer and Dimitrov were looking in the Radar hud over looking large amounts of targets. Dimitrov had his plan and he had several cards to play on his own He knew the hackers were gonna try board him but the Davastator class had internal defense turrets stationed at the airlocks and the Pacific Marines. Once the hacker force set fut on the Pacific deck they were ambushed and killed very violently the Hacker Marines didn't had any chance against the well trained Pacific Marine Personal. The marines even managed to push the enemy boarding force and get in to the hacker Gunboat reaching it and placing charges on the Gb reactor. The got out of there and they detonated the explosives and the Gb went sky high. But it was still attached to the Pacific and when It blew off a peace of its nose hit the bridge. But it didnt destroy it just shake up the people there.
One of the Pacific marines claimed up and told Dimitrov.
" Sir hackers tried to board our ship sir but we managed to beat them out and blow up their gunboat sir."
Dimitrov looked at the marine.
" You and your men have done a good job get back to your post and safe guard the Pacific"
" Aye sir " The marine responded and went out of the bridge
Dimitrov Looked at his first Xo and smiles
" Looks like they got the baid. " The Xo smiles evilly and Ordered.
" Power up All cannons and launch all fighters from the axillary bay and make a defense perimeter. "
"The Devastator class one hell of a Battle ship it can fool even the Nomads."
That was Dimitrov response once the XO issued the Orders.
The Pacific Powered up all of it weapon systems and Opened fire with its flag cannons. By the Time Maria Ellite fighter wing realized what happened they were gone. The Hacker Guared Leader Ordered a distance from the Pacific so they can get out of range of the Pacific flag cannons. Thats when the Pacific had secured the Perimeter around its self. The Pacific radar officer reported to Dimitrov
" Sir perimeter established sir."
Dimitrov Ordered.
" Launch All fighters wings."
The Comm officer ordered
" 45th, 6th and 23rd squadrons your clear to launch good luck out there "
The Hacker Guard leader saw he had against himself a functioning Liberty fighter attack force and a Battleship base to support them. He was shocked but he was to scared from Maria to tell her that Dimitrov out trapped her a and the Pacific damaged it posed a great threat. So he charged in hoping that he will be able to cripple the Libretonian Forces witch was impossible. Dimitrov Only waited for Matt mark for him to Move the Pacific to the Base and take it out.
[font=Arial Narrow]
[color=#FFFF33]Hernandez Base
Angelina was in her cell when she sensed the base was moving and disturbed. All the hackers we panicking saying
" Libretonian Forces are on the station !!!!! "
She knew this was her chance that someone actually come to rescue her. So she started working on her ropes to get out. She managed to get her self out of the restrains and waited for her moment to strike.
[color=#FFFFFF]Why did there have to be so many guards?! - Matt thought as he depressed the trigger once more. Blue flashes of light poured out his assault rifle and burned a set of holes in another two onrushing defenders. They had reached a T-Junction. He signalled to two marines who flanked left and right, Clear was the call and the mobile rig was wheeled a bit further along. The nuke was safely deactivated for the moment. Matt crouched and moved further along the corridor - and found a computer console. It was restricted with a bio lockout.
"Ey lad, pass us one o'they corpses!"
Matt blasted the hand of the corpse off with his rifle and slammed it against the panel.
*Level 1 Access Granted* "Gawd, Level 1 won't tell us frecking anything!" "Can you pull up a diagram or something? We only need to know the layout, nothing classified!" "Aye hang on.. wait a sec... THERE! Four decks down!"
More guards appeared, this time in greater number and with heavier weapons.
"Screw this!"
Matt tossed a grenade and watched as it exploded and the feet of several guards. He then pushed on crouching and advancing quickly while the smoke cleared. The rest of the squad watched his back as they reached an elevator. Punching the button to go down, the 6 man squad readied themselves for whatever awaited them four floors below.

[font=Courier New]LNS-Omaha
[color=#FFFFFF]The battle had only just began for the Omaha. It, and it's fighter escort, had just reached the Pacific when it went full attack and succeeded in getting rid of the first wave. At that point, the battle looked won - however another wave was inbound. Captain Hughes leaned forward in his chair.
"Well well. More of them. Good. Copy to Captain Dimitrov, we've got your back. All fighters to defensive flanking positions" "I have more contacts. Tally.. holy.. Tally 30 Sabres, 10 Bombers and a handful of Gunboats! I'm also picking up a few unknown contacts." "Where the hell did they come from?! And how the hell do they have so many?!" "Far side of the Station sir and I don't know, it seems this base might be pretty important to them." "Not after we blast it to scrap. Charge main battery, target the first gunboat you see and fire. Set the primary turrets to chainfire, set space ablaze."
Slowly and calmly, Captain Hughes reclined after his orders were acted upon. Like a diving Eagle, the Omaha swooped down with it's Guardian escort and tore into the enemy fighters and gunboats. The Pacific's main cannon's boomed as it spat fire at the enemy gunboats and flak at the fighters. The enemy Sabre's seemed to have learned from the previous waves mistakes and weren't directly engaging the Battleship. Instead, missiles and torpedo's are being shot at range. Most were hitting the Pacific's flak field, but some where getting through. A flash temporarily blinded the crew on the Omaha. A torpedo had struck the Pacific's heavy mortar, blasting it off.
"Helm, get us closer to the Pacific!"
The Omaha lurched forward and to the right as a bomber's torpedo struck it in the mid-section.
"Damage?" "We've got a breach, moderate damage. Nothing too serious." "Press on, weaps - target Tridente at grid 134-121. Fire!"
The main battery on the Omaha fired and struck the Tridente's shields. It shot again and it impacted the port pod, causing a plasma leak and for the Tridente to spiral low and to the right. The Omaha's chainfiring tore into the left hand side of the ship, exploding off armour and stripping the pod. Another two impacts hit the Omaha and it was forced to pull back. A wing of Sabre's had come up behind them.
"Kill the Engines, face them and..."
Captain Hughes could not finish the sentence, for he found himself holding his eyes and flinching in pain. The Sabre's had all aimed at the bridge with their missiles and torpedoes. The Omaha was now adrift and disabled. As Hughes surveyed what was left of his bridge, he felt remorse. There were just too many and the Omaha had tried to deal with too much. His last thoughts were of home and hoping that the next life would be more kind on his crew than this one.
[font=Courier New]Hernandez Base
[color=#FFFFFF]Maria surveyed the viewscreen. Indeed, this Dimitrov fellow was cunning. The marines she had dispatched were not responding, and somehow - The Pacific had got it's main batteries online again and was cutting chunks out of her fleet. She gave a wry smile as the pathetic gunboat trying to block her bombers was sent adrift..
"Concentrate on the Pacific now. And I want our Bayo squadron's to engage the Enemy guardians. Let Luis have a little fun." "HOORAY!" "Have that pathetic boarding team been killed yet?" "No Maria, we've lost contact with our security team" "Hrrmph, they're here for the girl. Go down there and see to her personally. This entire operation has been one disaster after another. Kill her."
Jeffrey turned and headed down to the weapons locker to arm himself while Luis sprinted to his bayonet, screaming and laughing that he could finally do some damage. Out in space, the Pacific reduced another Tridente to atoms. Maria was not liking this at all. She logged into her communications array, this time it would be more than a message she would send to Dimitrov. Due to the damage the Pacific had taken, not all of it's computers were online and as such - it's networks were vulnerable. She took out a small chip containing a lethal computer virus, one which should knock out all of it's hardware. Sure, they could still fire manually she thought - but they wouldn't be able to make that switch quickly. She unpacked the virus and sent it. Within a few seconds, the Pacific had stopped firing and started to glide out of control in a slow roll. She then searched the Pacific's mainframe, hoping that the entire operation would not be a total failure. If she could just find the right codes, she could have access to the Dimitrov bank - and the riches it contained.
"You're mine Dimitrov, your pathetic family will die out today - either by my hands or through starvation! Send another grizzly squad!"
[font=Courier New]Hernandez Base
[color=#66FFFF]"ANGEL!"
Matt and the strike team had made it to the brig. Angel stood well back as Matt blasted the door. Holding her and hugging her, Matt ordered the nuke into position and handed Angel his sidearm.
"Don't bloody do that again." "You took your time rescu...ing..." "Woah woah.. Easy there.. You ok? You been drugged? Fecking hell, Murphy! Keep 'er steady. Right, nuke's on timer. 10minutes. MOVE IT PEOPLE!"
Matt smiled a wide grin as he headed back to the elevator. It was empty and they made their assent.
"Smith tae Valiant, we have tha' package and tha' parcel's been delivered. Requesting immediate extraction." "You're going to have to wait about 5minutes Matt, we've taken heavy fire here. Red wing's had to pull back to the Pacific - she's taking a beating and she's just gone offline. We're trying to get back to you, but the station's weapons are tearing us to pieces!" "Can we help?" "Get to the Western docking ring, the weapon's platforms have been downed. It's not as well defended." "Tha's the other side of the station! Through God-knows what?!" "Best we can do!" "Copy. Everyone - double time. Shoot and run, don't stop - head that way to the western docking ring. We have 5 minutes tops. MOVE!"
Matt looked at Angel and frowned, this was looking bad. He whispered that he loved her, and charged on in front shooting anything ahead of him that moved.
At that moment, Jeffrey entered the brig and saw what delightful gift the strike force had left them.
"Maria, we have a problem. The girl is gone and they've left a device behind.. A nuclear one. I can't access it, it's being operated via remote. There's a timer, 9 minutes." "We prepared for this, evacuate all stations. Our RV point is the Humboldt Jumphole. I will keep working here, I have nearly secured the funds."
[font=Courier New]In Space.
[color=#FFFFFF]The battle was truly not going well for the Pacific. After taking out another gunboat, the ship suddenly lost power. This demoralised the pilots fighting outside her. They kept shooting at the countless fighters swarming her and blasting chunks off the ship. The 23rd squadron in particular showed true resolve in stopping the bombers from blowing away the bridge when another group of contacts approached.
"Grizzlys?" "Radiological alarm! They're hot!" "Up and face, up and face! Take them out!" "I got one! Woah.. Noo!! *crackle*" "Don't get too close or you'll be gone too!"
They fought admirably, taking out the majority of the enemy squadron. But it was not enough. One Grizzly got through and directly impacted the aft section of the Pacific. There was a bright flash, a huge bang and debris was thrown everywhere. The Pacific was still there, but now adrift and out of control, and with it's main engine hanging off it by a thread.
