It was rejected because the Junkers should not have a "dedicated combat vessel".
The model is fantastic, and frankly I like the idea of her a bit more as a transport than a gunboat, she already looks like she has a cargo area. Loving the dirty scratchy look of her, but I always wonder why the CSV series of ships is clean and industrial compared to the newer ones. I like the look of course, just an oddity to me.
Please explain the reasoning that we shouldn't have a 'dedicated combat vessel'? We are hunted by mercs, Hogs, AFA, HF Legion, Kusari and Gallia. Yet we shouldn't be able to produce a combat vessel? Oh please, forget it!

This thread was made to talk about the model I have made from Jinx' salvager.
Maybe, just maybe, since we dont get new combat models in congress, then why not remodel the bulldog and gitano into something that we can use and that can actually fight?
As to making this nice little gunship into an armoured transport: yes, anything that can get us that model.

What they are meant to be and what gets presented to them in space are often two different things. Unless of course you are suggesting they should just stop and present their transports up as a holy and righteous sacrifice when they get chased down by bombers and gunboats.

That's why I like this model so much. It doesn't even need a large cargo area. It looks kind of like an armored tugboat that can be useful in a scrap field as well as helping transports get out of a tight spot.
