The base is mostly manned by those ugly robots from Gammu, but only hours ago, the Yacht Adamantine brought in a load of 500 specialized technicians and mechanics to help with repairs. The beautiful Luxury liner also brought oodles of medical supplies for the remaining Zoners who haven't been moved to other locations. Here are some holos!"

"Yes, Suzette. Relief supplies and help have been pouring in from all over Sirius. Another shipment also arrived from a TAZ vessel early this morning. During the vessel Discordia's approach she sighted yet another large Phantom craft in the vicinity of Freeport 11:

"This is the second Phantom vessel sighted in as many days! My assistant is currently trying to contact Lord Darkstar to arrange a possible Galaxy Gab! exclusive interview. Hopefully we can find out from the Phantom leader why his ships are stationed here in Delta, Suzette."
"That'd be a wonderful bit of gossip for our loyal fans, Brendan. And we're also trying to contact the famous Explorer and researcher Tannik Seldon, aboard the Aedos, to join us here for some intimate insights on what it's like to actually have icky Nomad thoughts in your mind! That should be exciting, too!"
"'Icky Nomad thoughts', Suzette? Well, you certainly have a way with words! That's it for tonight, folks! Live from Freeport 11, I'm Brendan..."
"Oh, my God, Suzette! Is that who I think it is? Quick, do you have your holocam? I'm gonna approach him. No wonder we couldn't contact him aboard his Flagship!"
"OK, Brendan. I just hope I don't faint or puke while we're doing this! OK, I've contacted SNN.. the feed is live, we're rolling. Don't get killed!"
(Cut to CU Brendan.. shadowy figure in background staring out of biodome. Hushed voice:)
"Viewers, this is Brendan of 'Galaxy Gab!' The person you see over my shoulder is none other than Lord Darkstar, leader of the Phantoms, whose gigantic ships have recently been sighted around Freeport 11. I'm going to try to get some comments from him.."
(Cut to wide angle as Brendan approaches the Phantom leader.)
"Umm... Lord Darkstar? What a surprise! Do you think it would be possible...."
(Cut to CU: Darstar.)
*The figure turned, twin glowing orange "eyes" locking onto Brendan like lasers. The man stared the other down for a bit, then Darkstar gave a snort*
"An interview? *The filtered voice was almost a snear. There was a momentary pause, then he sighed..
"Fine. I've nothing better to do, it seems; those bedamned nomads... or half-nomads, whatever they are, have run off again."
(Cut to MCU 2shot, B & L.D.)
"Uhh, your Lordship, it doesn't seem that they're interested in a protracted battle, no. Can you tell our viewers why the Phantoms have taken an interest in these attacks?"
"Why?" *He seemed genuinely surprised*
"Why, the Zoner Freeports are some of our few bases. These freeports have provided points to restock, resupply, even stage from every so often... They're wonderfly neutral places that will accept even us, whereas some pirates, our friends, are loath to do so." *There was a hidden smile*
"They're afraid of us. Some of the pirates, you see..."
"Well, yes, I can understand that.. their reluctance." agreed Brendan. "It also seems that the Zoner ships stationed in the area are reluctant to take action, specifically the Persephone. Her Captain seems to be absent during each attack. Does that seem strange to you?"
"It's my job to be suspicious... The fact that these nomads somehow manage to strike when there are virtually no defences at all, despite the fact that this station must come under attack from the aliens each and every day, means something.
"And that something, is that someone here is more then likely working for the other side, as it were." *He chuckled a bit*
"And that someone is managing to get one of the few places myself and my Lords and Slayers can dock. This won't do, oh no... This won't do at all..." Lord Darkstar concluded.
"Well, Lord Darkstar, I won't impose upon your valuable time any further. I appreciate your 'enlightening' our 'Galaxy Gab!' viewers this evening. Do you have a final comment for our audience?"
(Cut to CU Darstar.)
*The man considered for a moment, then nodded*
Yes... I do, actually... *He stared directly into the camera*
To those attacking the Zoners here at Freeport 11, and who would attack them elsewhere... Know this; You are treading on thin ice. My ship will be permanently docked here, at this freeport, untill you either cease or are destroyed. Push farther, and I will find you.
"Of course, you've heard the rumors of what happens on my ship. Unless you want to find out first hand if they are true, I would suggest you stop annoying me. *He turned, waving the two away and returning to his place at the window*

"Ladies and gentlemen, that was the infamous Lord Darkstar of the Phantoms! I suppose there's no doubt about the Phantoms' plans here in Omicron Delta now.
"My co-host Suzette is trying to contact Captain Jinx of the Persephone for another exclusive interview. It will be interesting to hear her take on Lord Darkstar's comments.
"We will now return you to SNN's regularly scheduled program: 'Tepenyaki!'. Tonight, they're featuring an excellent recipe for the Kyushu mud weasel! This is Brendan for 'Galaxy Gab!', signing off from Freeport 11!"
