I am Corsair, but I want to become freelances and try my luck in other places. I'd like to keep my X.
That does prove it. =D

I haven't heard whether you, Hexx, know that Corsairs have council, consisted of indies too. Thus making decisions are group work, not at the hands of one player.
Give me a break. I made topic to talk about prior to turning it into some grand admin discussion. Now you're just insulting me.
And for the record I think either the admins should be the prime part of the equation, or that official factions should be more openminded compared to what I see. I'm not saying they don't reserve the right to reject any given instance, but turning white cells to red cells is in effect undermining the very system that the admins created for a reason. Otherwise there would be no white cells in the first place.
Actually, I would only make that every piece of granted technology is linked with RP request behind it (hopefully one that isn't obviously bad and "trolly").

They merely aren't handing them out in role play. Technology requests are not required to be in role play; you can work out of role play requests. Both types are valid.
However, accusing the person you need to work with of abuse isn't a great way of getting an out of role play request. You also need to remember that the faction leader is the judge when it comes to deciding if your submitted role play warrants an approval. That is how the system is set up.
Again, if you think there is abuse the system asks that you talk to an admin.

That should be how it is, but I don't see that ever happening again.

Effectively, they have.

And their roleplay is more valid than everyone elses? That's terribly elitist. Not to mention that ooRP requests should simply not exist. Otherwise if Zelot's hot girlfriend IRL (yay for Zelot!) wants to fly her noRP ship with Tizzies, she can. That's the very definition of abuse.
And as said, I know that. I'm still discussing it here, and I'm fully within right to do that.

Our roleplay isn't neccessarily better than yours, but it is ours. Not yours.
I think you mistake what we mean by ooRP requests. If someone wants to abandon the Corsairs, obviously he's not getting his ship in-rp. oorp, however, we could allow him to keep it.
and like Snak3 said, there are ten people in the Council, including indies. All of them need to sign off or be outvoted on any request.

No, they haven't. They've merely said that they aren't handing them out willy nilly in role play. They've yet to receive a request from someone who has proven themselves a worthy non Corsair. What I mean by this is, no one has taken the time to build a in role play relationship with the Corsair factions before asking. Instead people just log on the forums and ask. This is why so many factions are now just rejecting requests; because there is very little role play behind them.
It isn't their role play that has caused the Corsair Elders to make this decision. It was the in role play actions of a group they once trusted. It isn't about validation, it is about role play.
ooRP exists as some people would never have a chance at getting some technology in role play. IE, stealing technology, traitor role play, etc etc. Those types of permission are ooRP. I'm not referring to permissions that are given because of friendships, those are frowned upon but do exist.
